Laguna has the same style of fence on their table saws it to requires to be raised up

I bought a set of these on Black Friday sale and love them, especially helpful with big sheets of plywood. They were an easy install on my old delta unisaw with a beismeyer fence. My only complaint is when ripping thin they are kind of in the way unless I remove them all the way. A quick tip, if you rest the heel of the black part on your stock and tighten them there, it gives you perfect spring pressure.

Bower is correct. Setting the black arm down on the stock is how you are supposed to set these to the stock height. ​@@stlwoodworking

There has been variations on this idea for decades. I bought something similar back in the 90’s and quickly discovered there were way more cons than pros. Abandoned them. The inability to push all the way through without a hop over and then the trapping of the piece at the end of cut was the biggest. That little time where you stop the push often results in a slight burn from the blade on the cut. Narrow cuts won’t allow for the overhead dust hood to be used, and the hood just doesn’t collect dust but does keep the fingers away from the blade. I’m wonder why not try them only on the side of the blade after the cut? The beginning of the cut is easy to keep against the fence and after 6-7 inches of travel, the out feed guide comes into play keeping the stock against the fence and it would allow for the ability to push the wood through continuously without the hop over.

Yeah they have their limitations. I really like them though. Trying them on the outfeed side is not a bad idea either.
