Thanks for knowledge. After not wanting anything to do with the VA I had a change of heart, wanted VA put on my license, my VSO said go get hearing test, got tinnitus granted in early 2021, now I have secondary connected insomnia and headaches. I submitted with Nexus and letters, and migraine report. I just had C&P exam few weeks ago. So far I’m at about 170 days. Fingers crossed. Thanks for service sir!

I’ve had ptsd for years but due to failure in belief in the system / govt that let me down I didn’t file until 10 months ago . I’ve been getting help on my own for years , & it’s a good thing . 10 months now after filing and I still haven’t even had a C&P . Tell me they don’t care without telling me they don’t care . I can see why so many of us are committing suicide .

Had a recent C&P exam … The provider stated they couldn’t submit the claim because the VA didn’t send any medical evidence of when my knee condition occurred … No x-rays or MRI or assessment or consultation for braces … That was interesting because I made several PDF’s of segments of my Health Record when I submitted my claim and named them specifically Left Knee X-ray and Right Knee MRI and Right Knee Brace Consultation … So I submitted the same info to VES and submitted again to my open claim … Already have the info needed already labeled and can send in 5 minutes or less whenever needed … This veteran is prepared and expects an increase

Hey Dewayne! Good info. I have 2 things. 1) You always mention “Actionable DBQ” but, how does a vet know if their civilian DBQ is good enough? 2) It’s not that vets are mad they were denied. It is knowing that it will take literally YEARS of HLRs, appeals, etc. before they can get a positive resolution. One thing I have learned is that once you get denied on your initial filing, it’s all uphill from there as far as TIME goes.
@@DewayneKimble Understood but, what if the vet wants to be prepared? No one wants to go through getting a DBQ completed only to find out that it is inadequate and have to go back to get it re-done. Can you explain what needs to be done to ensure an "Actionable DBQ" the first time?
Hey Dewayne, where or what is the reference that states or establishes that a veteran does not need to meet all symptoms in a rating criteria to qualify for the higher rating? and is there also a reference that states the VA should grant the higher rating in question?
