That last dialogue between Saladin and Crow resonates with me because it's a reflection of what Asher Mir said to us after we avenged Cayde. Asher told us that the cost of his ambition exploring the Pyramidion was his arm, and that like him, we'd face the consequences of our own actions. When you think about it, the entire reason Crow even exists is because of us - and everything that's happened since his resurrection can be traced back to us somehow.

Can take a minute to think about how lucky we aren't the empress enemy, she knows the core of all warfare know your enemy, she like thrawn from star wars they understand a people culture, their art, she is a gold opportunity for an ally, a nightmare for your enemies

What sucks is ALOT of the old stories and cutscenes cannot be replayed
I hope that one day they release a single player/coop game that is the full story. Would be cool.
I miss a lot of season story because of I was focus on the major expansion story

I hope they do a season of the empire, season of the wolf, season of the Iron, anything that will keep a continuation for the conclusion of this part.
Really sad that Saladin is not part of the Vanguard anymore, but at last, humanity has a spot, a say, and the right character at the table of the Cabal Empire and its council.
It seems spoilers were already datamined for the next season, but all I’ll say is that this story arc is continued in some way, shape, or form. I suppose Bungie is implementing the Iron Banner changes into the actual story, which I really like.

I'm so glad that I can still see all the story that i've missed through your channel. Until I found your channel i had no idea how expansive and awesome destiny's lore actually is. It really is unfortunate that i can't go back and actually play any of this stuff though since it all just goes away when a new season starts and you are pretty much forced to just do what ever the current season is.

Bruh, If Crow is the next one to lead the Iron Banner, I would scream YES at the top of my lungs for how GOOD the story telling is SHEEEEESH!
I love Crow's views, his sympathy, his compassion, and he must be one of the few Guardians who sees the Hive differently. I don't like how they all say the Hive are monsters, tradition and how someone is raised affects outcomes, all Hive were raised by the Sword Logic, I like Savathûn because she rejected the logic, her Hive don't have to kill to feed their worms(I wonder if most of them even still have worms), and I think the Lucent Hive will become allies. I remember, Amanda Holliday felt sympathy for the Cabal, but then when Osiris/Savathûn asked what she thought of Thrall, because from the perspective of the Hive, Thrall are children, and she said that Hive are monsters. A very hypocritical mindset I think, in actual warfare I think it should be hard to not feel sympathy for enemies, no one should devote themselves to war, and no wars are good or righteous.
The Lucent Brood still have worms. (Edit: They just don't need to kill other beings to feed the worm. The worm feasts on the Light within them.) And Thrall that somehow gain the Light are massacred by the higher echelons of Hive instead of being allowed to evolve. Lucent Wizards rip apart Lucent Knights, crush their bodies, kill them in horrible ways, then force their Hive Ghosts to resurrect said Knights and do it all over again. Lucent Hive are not suddenly good because they have the Light.
If having the Light suddenly made you good, then we wouldn't have had the Dark Ages where Warlords like Citan and Segoth massacred innocent, lightless humans for fun and power. We wouldn't have had Rezyl Azzir (Dredgen Yor) using a Weapon of Sorrow (Thorn) to slay other Guardians and steal their Light just because he could. We wouldn't have Shin Malphur.
The Hive willingly subject those below them in station to horrible experimentation and rituals to find new ways to make themselves more powerful. Fynch (and now other Ghosts) willingly leave their Lucent Risen dead, because they don't want to take part in these monstrous acts anymore.
I get that he had the same experience with savathun. I think crow was being to weak and emotional. It shows that he is weak and soft willed because that’s his character and in the audio logs Zavala and Saladin discuss how he is weak and has the wrong attitude and is undisciplined.

Im confused though where was glint throughout the entire ordeal. Pretty if he was around the psion wouldnt have died and this whole thing could have been avoided.

good point, this new plan of theirs that focuses on a smaller cast for each story beat has its upsides, but it has plot holes too.
@@xXx_Regulus_xXx those are big plot holes imo. I think in due time this tension will surface once Saladin get a pictute of how the cabal war counsel works.
They already have a weapon that can defeat guardians and hive alike along with the aid of psions they can literally make anti vanguard guardians if needed.
The cabal in possession of such tech and refinement of tactics is already a red flag and can be the catalyst for another war with the cabal.
I like how Saladin took a blow for Crow to save him.

I think that’s the best line I’ve heard from Saladin in a long while. If the person you’re granting mercy isn’t going to grant it back, then there’s no point in doing so in the first place. And as well all know, there’s yet to be one Lucent Hive that is on our side (not counting Fynch, since he’s not a Guardian, but just an enemy’s Ghost)

With the way the story goes i wont be surprised if the Hive became next group of allies to join the Last City.

We already kinda have a hive ally , well hive ghost fynch but yeah . Would be nice seeing some friendly hive and fighting witnesses together with all other races.

I hope not there is no way we could trust the hive for all of the atrocities they have committed. The alliance between us and cabal and house of light is easier to swallow. Then with an alliance with a race that has killed billions I don’t care if they were tricked by the witness. For a real world example would you forgive or even want to ally with the Nazis who killed millions.

The collapse (when the darkness attacked the traveler and humanity) happened about 500 years ago. During the collapse every outpost in the Solar System fell, everything broke down and for 100s of years nowhere was safe. Not until the guardians banded together and created The Last City.
It is so shallow that in this game every Planet/Dimension has the same power of gravity.

Crow needs to go he is a liability in this fight against the darkness. We don’t need this type of liability in the final fight I hope he dies in the next season or before this season is over.

I would find it interesting if Empress Caital died and came back with the power of the light and her ghost gave her all her memories back if I could think of a subclass that would suit her it would be solar and specifically "Burning Maul"
I like how this entire season was mostly us talking to a computer and a soundwave , Bungie really cheaped out this season . Lame

Wow.. wow.. this season was awesome. The storyline was fantastic, not some boring cry me a river like the fallen story was wah wah wah... this one was political and militaristic. Enjoyed the shit out of it!!! This was Destiny!!! Dark, ferocious and hits home. MORE!!!!
