Have had my 4060 ST for only a month or so but absolutely love it. Have a build similar to yours - Lyrik, Berd Hawk 30s, etc. Haven’t tried the slack head angle setting yet but bumping the Lyrik up to 160. I’ve been really impressed with the RS air shock in the rear but just threw on a coil today. Can’t wait to try it out. It really is a great bike. I’m constantly impressed by it.
First ride this morning with the Lyrik at 160. I like it. Prefer it to 150. Calms the handling down a little bit without any real negative impact on climbing. I’ve got the headset in the steeper setting though. Probably gives me about 65 degree HTA. I might experiment with the slacker headset at some point but would probably adjust to the LT setting so as not to go super slack.
Great bike. I may go to TRP's eventually but i'm so damn invested in Codes with bleed and lever rebuild kits. Evil's having a big sale this weekend, hopefully they're getting ready for the FV4
Also the TRP is dope. But I feel you. I hate you have all the bleed kit and everything you need for your brakes and then when you change you have to get all new everything. I could never get codes to feel great for long period of time. Maguras have been amazing. And liking trp so far
Hey brother, i see you finally got on some BERDS!!! Have you made a video dedicated to talking about them yet? I just completed 3 years of hard riding and i’m a clyde and my wheels are TRUE!!! Fwiw ive made every upgrade possible to my bike and the BERD spokes are hands down my favorite upgrade and something i will splurge on again/if i can manage to ever find the end of life for my current wheelset. Sidenote: i see other commenters asking about how you have gotten on with the kryptotal’s/ i’m curious as well!!!🎉❤😂
Yah bro!!! Berds are the truth!!! I will make a dedicated video for the berds and I’ll do a follow up on the contis… but loved the rear tire but the front was not soft enough. It’s like I’ve skates on hardpack. Wasn’t willing to go up to the enduro casing.🍻🫡
@@dustinbjohnson i feel you on wanting gummy rubber up front/ i finally wore my OG 2.35 rear forekaster down till it was letting go when i didnt want it to let go/ and a friend just gave me 2 more nearly new OG forekasters and i already had a back up OG forekaster/ looks like i’ll be running the forekaster rear for quite some time/ im currently debating front tire choice though, debating 2.5 vs 2.6 and exo casing vs DD/gummier casing or another brand’s gummy tire/ i want something that rolls a tad faster than the 2.6 T9 butcher grid i ran this past year/ fwiw im going to be throwing the original recipe vittoria airliners back in to give em’ another shot/ they made my bike feel like it had 20mm more travel front and rear but i could feel the weight penalty so i pulled em’/ now a year has gone by and i miss the ride feel of the airliners💁 time to get stronger🏂🤣🤘
curious to know what happened to the Continental ? Riding kryptotal rear front and back latety and loving these tires. Durability just mind blowing compared to maxxis and grip is pretty legit too considering the lower prices
I really liked the xynotal as a rear. But the downfall is the hard rubber compound of the front in trail casing for me. Wasn’t willing to jump up to the enduro casing to get the soft compound. And until they do that. They are a no go for me. Still prefer maxxis
It's been a love/hate with my SCOR. I have really enjoyed how the bike rides. I also like the fact that I can run it as both a trail bike or a park bike by changing it from a ST to LT. I have not been impressed with the frame quality. In one year, I've had two warranty issues (top shock bushings came loose and the other bash guard inserts fell out causing a replacement frame to be sent (in a color I didn't prefer). My OCD also hates how difficult it is to clean.
Hey Dustin, can you speak more on the comparison between and Offering and the 4060 ST. Im between both, been loving the offering that past two months on a loaner and I have a 4060 coming in on demo this week. Excited to hear your thoughts
Can’t go wrong dude! I think the 4060 is a better all around do all bike. But if I was a park rat I’d go offering hands down. But Scor is a much more efficient bike. But the evil smooths out the trail better
Thanks dude! I did like the 51 on my evil following, but the new rockshox stuff is only 44 so no real room to play with that on this new lyrik unfortunately
I’m on the Hightower 3 now, starting to look around for the next bike. SCOR has my attention, but I’d run it as LT. How does the bike ride in terms of on-the-bike vs in-the-bike? I’ve seen talk about keeping it clean, but doesn’t seem to be an issue for you? Have you had anything get lodged between the linkages?
I rode the HT3 and I definitely prefer the Scor. Absolutely love this bike. It’s a slayer of the ups and downs. I hear that’s only an issue if you ride in super wet or mud. I’ve never had a single issue with the linkage or it clogging up. Boise is super dry so it’s a non issue for me. The geo feels perfect to me. One of those bike you get on and instantly feel at home
@@NB-ski yup I have time on the mega. I don’t really have good opinions on those long travel bikes. They all feel dull, slow and sluggish on the types of trails I ride.
What frame size do you ride and how tall are you? I heared that the reach is very long. Do you have problems with reach? Maybe switch to a smaller frame? Lg from berlin germany
5’10 and ride a medium. Yes a longish reach but what most people don’t take into consideration is the 78* seat tube angle so actually makes the reach feel a bit shorter. Honestly I might switch to the new medium / large option they offer on the new 20/30
I've had two warranty claims and my only problem was replacement bushings...I had a very early bike and they had not yet made replacement parts. I think all of those things have been sorted and claims since then have been handled quickly.
Only real question i have for you. Only complaint i hear from reviews is the mud getting trapped in the rear shock area. Is that something you noticed?
Yah man I hear that too. But honestly I can’t really say because Boise’s trails are so dry. I’ve personally never had an issue. But when our trails are wet they are pretty much unrideable for any bike. I did ride up in Bellingham for a week but never hit anything super wet then either.
Haha! ARC is a killer foothills bike for sure. But could never be my only bike. I do miss it Somedays. I made out really well on it and sold it to a local buddy. He got a good deal and I got what I wanted. Happy for that
@@dustinbjohnson just got this. Im slowing way down on the beers right now. Maybe for whole summer then get back during football season. I'll grab food anytime tho.
That build you have going on is...like whoa.
Thanks dude! Another reason I’m back to one bike. I can put all my money in to this bike

Let me know what you think of the 160 fork on the ST! I got the airshaft and haven’t installed it yet.

Great follow up!! The build is pretty sick!!
Thanks homie!! 🙏🍻
Over a thousand miles? How did you know I love that song. Making my way downtown walking fast faces past and I'm homebound
Glad you love it and love the review. Definitely enjoy it
Thanks as always! 🍻

Dude I’ve actually been thinking about that lately!!
You probably know but you can also run Shimano XT brake pads in the TRP if you like those.
Oh that’s right! I’ll give that a try. Thanks dude 🍻
What size is this and your height? Looking at a large. Im 5'9" and currently ride SC HT Gen 1 large.
I’m 5’10” with shoes. I ride a medium scor and medium Hightower
I want one but worry about the after sales care/warranty aspect since they are not a us company
I wouldn’t be worried about the warranty. They are BMC. That is a huge brand with a great reputation
