No size limits in Erie for perch. When you are fishing at those depths their air bladders expand out their mouths killing some of the fish (especially the smaller fish.) Better to honor the fishery and take the small ones instead of throwing them back to die. They all taste GREAT!
Nice video. You can wrap your leaders around a piece of pool noodle. Works better than cardboard.
Randy’s the 🐐
Been there many times
How'd you do fishing?
@@HodgesOutdoors I have been with charters that take 6 people. Perch fishing is the best and have had the best luck east of Cleveland
Ashtabula…… 50 ft of water about 3 miles out
So I guess no size limits you can toss tiny tinkers in the bucket .. But you can learn a lot about how he handles fish on a hook .

How long was the trip and cost?
@@bradr539 75 bucks a person and a 45 minute boat ride out and back
what depth of water were you in? Wondering if a 7 foot light rod, 4 lb test and some 1/16 oz tubes would be productive
@@Jigger2361 we were in about 30 feet of water. Tough getting tubes down to that depth.
