Tim’s disdain for tungsten rotors never fails to amuse

God help us tungsten.🤣🤣🤣 and don’t forget the pin sleeves.

Probably for the price point. I don't think he objects to the tungsten rotor on the Blancpain Bathyscaphe, which sells for under 10G.

Really incredible. These new Overseas finally hit that point where I'd very much choose one over an AP.

Well said. I saw an AP on a tv show and noticed that it didn't complement any look or style so much as just sat there as an ap. This blends way more tastefully and I'd choose it all day over an AP.

Absolute grail watch right there and I absolutely love the black dial w the red accents over the more popular blue! Such a versatile watch that can be worn every day on any occasion.

Hi Tim , great content as always .
Who does the better finishing between AP Royal Oak , PP Nautilus and VC Overseas ?
    Cheers

Between VC & PP for sure...Tim makes it very clear that AP RO finishing is not up to standard (especially if it's not a 15202).

@@BenTramer AP has so much mechanical problems on top of that ...
Full of RO makes this brand everything but exclusive and rare .

It's still too much for me, but it's cheaper than I expected. If it were a Patek, I think it would cost at least twice as much.

Another great video! Next time you show an Overseas, can you also show the Leather and Rubber straps on the watch? You've mentioned that they come in the box, are easy to swap, and change the wearing experience, but I haven't seen a video that you've shown them in. Thanks!

Why did VC omit hacking seconds?!? In my opinion, that is unacceptable. Everything else is spectacular but the omission of a hacking seconds hand lets this mechanical work of art down; such a shame! Otherwise this is a near perfect piece.

Why? you can set the time just as accurately without hacking? If you don't know how maybe a mechanical watch is not for you.

      You don’t need hacking seconds.

Some people don't believe in hacking seconds because it puts additional strain/wear on the movement. It's the same in a lot of other high end watches. You are mostly wearing these for the look rather than time anyway.

    Nazi logos?

The Nazis used the Iron Cross, a 19th century Prussian symbol.
      Vacheron uses the Maltese Cross.
