@@robertlulek1634 Personally I'd go for the skeleton version since it looks incredible but it depends how often will you wear the watch and the market value also might be better for skeleton pieces, I assume they'll make less of them. You can't go wrong with either! :)

Well over a year with it, prior to prices spiking on these, and have no intention of letting it go. I buy watches to enjoy them, not because of some "investment potential". Capital can be gained through other means - I dont want to ruin my passion for this hobby by focusing on value. To each their own however 🙌🏻
In my humble opinion, the oldest of the 3 members of the Holy Trinity, established in 1755.. The Vacheron Constantin Overseas, with the coveted Geneva Seal, (specially for me the 3-hand black dial) is the most elegant of the sport watches from these three houses.
It looks great one of my favorite but i dont understand pepole calling many Rolex,VC,Pattek,JLC,AP and many other costly brand watches as Sports watches only G shock type watches are sports watches
I love the VC Overseas line, I always thought the Gen 2 was an awesome piece but the Gen 3 is an absolutely gorgeous and versatile watch with beautiful hand finish work from a brand with amazing history to back it up, enjoy your VC Sir, that dial is really something else👍🏻
Move to Florida. Watch every video on youtube on sales. Get a sales job: healthcare supplies, pharmaceutical sales, moving broker. Make $150k-250k per year. I never thought I'd be buying $15k watches either until 2 years ago. Go for it. Get it done. Study study study

You just push through it. My last four paychecks per week I haven't made less than $2200 each week. Per previous comments, you can research what a moving broker is. Short answer. Call 200 people per day, get them on the phone, take inventory, make commission on it if you get the sale. Follow ups, sometimes one call closes. Research moving broker on UA-cam. There's amazing videos there. Cheers
Brilliantly considered and balanced opinion 👏 I am waiting for my Overseas blue dial (hopefully within a couple of months). I personally went for the Overseas because of the versatility offered with the straps and bracelets, but they are both outstanding watches.

You make a fantastic point regarding people rooting for the Overseas only because it’s the underdog. On similar comparison videos, you’ll see that the top comments often consist of people bashing the Royak Oak and acting like the Overseas is somehow head and shoulders above the AP. I like both (but would give the edge to the RO because I’m biased), and those types of comments make me question whether or not those people have handled both in person.
I own a Girard Perregaux Laureato, and it's also always judged as an less expensive alternative, rather than a great watch on its own merits. I often hear that I got it just because I can't afford a RO, but in fact I could afford a RO, but I appreciate the GP more. The smoother look gives a dressier look and it's more usable due to the higher WR rating. Much like the VC! Appreciate the video, great job 👍
I buy my VC 4500v blue dial because i really love the look, the logo, the bracelets and the quick-change straps. It's my grail watch though I owned more than 30 watches.
the overseas is so much more usable with all the specs like ATM... but unfortunately I like the looks of the royal oak better. I really wish I would like the overseas' design more, cause its a phantastic watch
my only concern is that I don't trust VC with the next Gen 4 Overseas will change and the gen 3 will look dated as with the royal oak we know that the design is timeless and will never change.

Wow what a collection of watches to own, congratulations! I think just on looks I like the Girard-Perregaux Laureato the most out of the high end integrated bracelet designs, I doubt I'll ever get to own one though!
This Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V is simply stunning! That blue is so deep! The way you can quickly change out the integrated bracelet to other straps is so convenient too. I'm kind of shocked though that this doesn't have hacking in the movement. I also kind of wish there was text on the 6 o'clock to maybe balance out the text at the 12 o'clock, but that's more of personal preference on my end.
Did you know the Richmond Group, owns Vacheron Constantin! In 1996, IWC, A Lange and Sohne, Cartier, Baum Mercier, Jaeger LeCoultre, MountBlanc, Panerai, Piaget! Whereas Audemars Piguet is family owned from 1875! Overseas 4500V is beautiful!

Haha, no way it could cover this purchase. This one was much easier to obtain at the time, though it has become more popular so I believe you will have to wait for one now.
I think the Overseas is a fantastic watch with great versatility as you can change the strap in seconds. There are so many strap colors you can choose from. Plus and above all the quality of the service you get in VC boutique is 100x better the pathetic service you get at AP or PP.
Have tried both, registered for both, want both! But……… and imho, the AP CANNOT get close to the VC’s quality! Head and shoulders above!! I still want an AP, and a Patek, but quality manufacturing, you’re hard pressed to beat the VC! 🤷🏻♂️
The VC is definitely more functional than the AP, but I think the AP is more aesthetically pleasing. Just my two cents and I put my money where my mouth is. Wearing my AP ROC as with type.

I actually went the reverse of the typical route. Got sick of being on the waitlist for a blue overseas and went grey market on a Royal Oak now that the market has simmered down. Love both watches and 100% agree that each are their own and not replacements for each other! Still patiently waiting on the overseas

How do sizes compare? I was told that while both come in the same size (41mm), the AP RO wears bigger, more like a 43 mm. What's your opinion?

Great watch and review. What is your say on the VC pink gold 4500V/110R-B705. Is it worth the retail price?
I think the pink gold blue dial combination is one of the nicest precious metal designs... even though I'm not a precious metal guy.
