Yes and having a court room drama between part 2 and 3 where it’s a battle between Harvey and Oz (almost like a Penguin season 2) ultimately ending with Harvey becoming Two Face. Then part 3 has Two Face and Oz in a gang war
I don't think so. Personally I don't like the idea of Two-Face being 'created' by another character from Batman's rogue gallery. Even though Maroni is dead, I think they should stick with the original story. I mean, Harvey's transition to Two-Face has to involve a trial, Batman and some mob captured by him. Which leads to Harvey going crazy, losing every inch of faith in the law and the trust forged around Batman and Gordon. If Oswald is the cause then Harvey wouldn't directly blame Batman, which I think is better for the story. Since there's only two movies left and maybe a couple of shows more about this universe, I think they should focus in Batman vs everyone and not in villain vs villain side-plots. Also Oswald has a lot of room on it's own. So every character introduced from there has to shine the same way. And I think there's no need to involve an established villain with the origin of another one. There's plenty of creative options and a lot of material to make every character work.
I have a feeling that he may become the big bad at the end of the final film. If he becomes mayor, that means Batman becomes public enemy number one. Pitting Batman against the entire city of Gotham, with Penguin at the top of it, would be a hell of a final conflict. Though as much as I enjoyed The Batman, After watching The Penguin, I felt like like the movie just set the stage for the real treat, the show.

Reeves is definitely taking inspiration from Earth One, specifically volume 2, which also involves Batman, Gordon and Dent going after corrupt city officials who were connected to the corrupt Mayor Cobblepot. Bruce's arc in this story involves him realizing that he can also help the city as Bruce Wayne and that he needs help, something I can easily see Pattinson having a similar arc. And btw, at the beginning of the comic we have Maroni (who in this comic is a street gangster) being interrogated by Dent about his relationship with Cobblepot and being asked to name corrupt people, I think the Penguin will have a similar role to this.
Boba, you might be onto something regarding Penguin in Court, a quote from Matt on the series' podcast: "They're going to be looking at what happened. And they're going to be looking at him. He had a relationship with Falcone, he's in the drug business and he's going to have to answer to some of these things, and he's going to be involved in some stuff that will be an entry point into the movie. And its not the through line of the movie, except to say it's the beginning of where our story continues."

What if the "deeper corruption" in places Bruce couldnt even fathom in the first movie is corruption within Wayne enterprises? Treat it so that Bruce would never have expected his company to have any corruption within it to play to the unfathomable aspect. They could even replace GothCorp with Wayne Enterprises in a Mr. Freeze origin
I have a feeling the main villain in the batman 2 is going to be mr. Freeze, but he will be much more realistic than the cartoony adaptations we’ve seen before. I can picture an icy blue theme to the 2nd movie as opposed to the red theme that was in the first one. The blue will go along with the theme of coldness and ice. Gotham is flooded, so maybe mr freezes evil plans will involve freezing that water. It all seems to be a perfect change of pace to keep the franchise interesting. Also, we havent seen mr freeze in awhile in a live action batman movie let alone a serious, realistic one. Seems like a perfect move. Imagine an eccentric business man who invents weird (but not entirely cartoony) freezing-related stuff. Maybe he wants to block out the sun and make a permanent winter. Imagine him not looking like a full blown robot, but having a few of his inventions that he wears like a weird mask and a bionic arm attachment or something. Edit - maybe gotham is going through a really cold winter and the flooding is frozen into ice all over the city. Maybe Mr Freeze is an owner of a company that makes snow vehicles and other tech that makes it easier to deal with snow. He uses this to his advantage and decides to essentially take over the city.
Damn. I'm so hyped for the Batman 2 after the Penguin. It feels like the Batman was so long ago. I remember being in hospital when we first started getting pictures from the set of the Batman and i was so freaking excited. Those first pictures of the GCPD vehicles and Bruce in his "drifter" attire helped me get theough a pretty rough 5 week hospital stay. Great stuff as always Boba.
An idea I have is that Julian Rush isn't Scarecrow but rather works with him, my main reason for believing this is that all the name changes thus far hasn't been all that different as people make it out to be. Oswald Cobb is just Oswald Cobblepot but shortened, Edward Nashton *is* Riddler's real last name in some comics way before the movie. Because of this, I think Julian will have a sort of assistant role, in the same vein as say Autumn from Batman: The Audio Adventures. Speaking of that series actually, I could see them doing what BTAA did and have Penguin pay one of his associates to "testify" against him, when in reality he's there to get acid on Harvey Dent. Another potential idea is having a sorta Arkham Shadow thing for Two Face's scarring but that would require Bruce's friendship with Harvey to be really strengthened heavily, the two need to be real close on a personal level.
I think it was on Reddit, I was reading, a rush is a type of small bird where a crane is a much bigger bird. So the idea was rush is still in his villain infancy and will grow into his crane persona.... Also, birds being connected to the court of owls (more birds)... Also also, penguin, another bird.

Possible different, maybe outlandish theory….what if Julien Rush is treating Crane as his therapist currently in Arkham? And he is integral into him becoming scarecrow? He just has those as maybe tools he uses during his sessions? Kinda a throwback to Batman Begins when before crane hits Falcone with the gas, he mentions he uses the mask in his sessions with patients?
Boba, Rush could be the Arkham doctor that is “caring” for Crane after he is captured by Batman. Rush might have Crane’s paraphernalia in his office for research purposes.
It looks like Sofia Falcone (Gigante) can still play a big part in the story... Julian Rush is mad obsessed with her and I'm thinking she could use him / the scarecrow as her puppet. Either making him do dirty work like taking revenge on Oswald Cobb or spreading fear in the city with his own methods. But he's also an inside man within Arkham Asylum and could help plan a prison break which would be very problematic because if Joker and Riddler escape, the city would be in real danger. Additionally, Selina Kyle seems to be on Sofia's side although I have no idea how she could contribute. Different topic and idk if any of it makes sense since I don't know a lot about the Batman comics but the way Sofia killed her family while having a sleepover with young Gia in the greenhouse, I see a hint at Poison Ivy. In my opinion, in a grounded universe, this is how I imagine someone like Poison Ivy would operate. The greenhouse is an important place for Sofia : she spent a lot of time in there with her brother during her childhood, that's where she took Oz for interrogation about her missing brother and most importantly that's where she took Gia the night she killed everybody. Or maybe even did she plant a seed (pun not intended) in young Gia's mind with this green environment : idk if Sofia made her feel safe in that greenhouse or if it would be a place of trauma for her since that's where she was when she lost her family... I know it's just a greenhouse but since we're looking for any clues for future villains, I thought I'd point at that one.
I feel like poision ivy should still be pamela. As for grounded universe it doesn't automatically mean realistic rather it involves the theoretical aspect. As long as it doesn't break the laws of physics and everything has somesort of explanation it could be passable.
But I think if he was gonna actually become the Scarecrow, he'd have been called Jonathan Crane. I think Julian Rush is a bit more like Mr. Reese in The Dark Knight, an homage to the Riddler without being the Riddler. They can't all be in every reboot.

What you say its just a homage or he's going to be used further in a future film, maybe he gets fired from arkham and starts going by Crane. I like to think Matt Reeves would like to flesh out the world in detail. I feel like Nolan had less care about the worldbuilding and more for story. I feel that Reeves does both
And if the latter is what they'll do then they probably made it Rush in penguin to not distract from Oz, then in future he'll blossom into Crane, either way Theo Rossi was brilliant and disturbing and I really hope he is used more otherwise I feel it'll be a waste
@@yorkie7605 I mean, yeah, I agree. I'd like to see this Scarecrow evolve. I like what they're doing with him, the way they're holding him in mystery. We really don't know what's going on with him, whether he's Sofia's best friend, or another tormentor. I think with these characters, we can't ever expect they'll become the familiar character we know. It was great to see Oz don the top hat and tails, but he's never gonna be the Penguin of the comics. This world has to be free to go where it wants. It can't be too beholden to every detail of the source material, or it'll just become a rote retread. And that's the last thing anyone really wants. So I suspect, if Julian Rush becomes the Scarecrow, or A Scarecrow, it'll be like nothing we've ever seen before. And he'll be the Julian Rush Scarecrow, unique to this universe, not the Jonathan Crane one.
I'd really like to see the Gotham "super mob" be the main focus overall. After seeing the rise of Penguin, it would be cool to see Black Mask and maybe even the Ventriloquist get the same treatment. Which would lead to an all out mob war between psychos in the finale

I kind of like the Penguin getting his connections by testifying on the events of the show. We have never seen this version of the character on the big screen and I see him being a big contender against the Batman later on.
On the Bruce Wayne front... I still have strong hopes that we'll get Dark Victory. Maybe not Dick Grayson swinging from rooftops, but the start of that relationship that kind of helps pull Bruce even more into the light.

In my own head canon I think there’s an absence of Batman for a little while because he put his body through absolute hell. He took point blank hits from a shot gun, the physical combat against a literal army, and that adrenaline booster (or whatever it was) had to have taken a massive toll on his body. I figured more Bruce and less Bat for a little while is just so he can heal from that fight. He is human after all
Do you think that Selina will find out who Batman is, since it’s like a long Halloween type of vibe in this world. To help fight against all the villains at once and since they said there isn’t going to be a catwoman series, I wonder if how we get more catwoman is her finding out who Bruce is so them working together is a way we get more of her since Batman is going to be Bruce more. And since in the first film, he wanted her to stay by how he thought about her for some of the film. Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but I had a thought about Penguin’s mom regarding her compromised health state and how that can be a part of Penguin’s storyline in the next film. If Mr. Freeze is the Part II villain, maybe Penguin becomes aware of how Freeze preserves Nora cryogenically and Penguin wants the same for his mom? Maybe during the movie her health becomes worse or something like that and Penguin becomes desperate. Thoughts?

I think pt 2 will be about Bruce’s fear of himself, of vulnerability, of self-forgiveness, of opening up to people again, and so we’ll get villains like Clayface, Hush, Joker, Hugo Strange, all about this idea of self-image, perhaps while uncovering corruption in Arkham (and the Courts that put people there), illegal experiments on patients, spearheaded by mysterious rich elites. And then pt 3 will be about a Bruce who’s opened up to relationships and fatherhood, but now deals with the fear of losing his new family, as he learns of the ubiquitous rich and elite Court. How far will Bruce allow his morals to bend (working together with the equally desperate Freeze? Penguin? The entire Rogues gallery?) to ensure he never goes through the death of his loved ones again.

Bruce might have to come forward and make a public statement in the attempt to clean up his parent's image, specifically his fathers. And just on a side note, Boba, have you noticed the black and white picture in Crane's office that almost looks exactly like a page out of The Riddler: Year One comics? It looks like Edward being tortured and like there's two parts of him being torn apart. And if he was supposed to be Crane, and Riddler's in Arkham who just caused all that havoc with the city, I bet he would enjoy torturing Riddler just for fun. A little bit of payback, if you will. To me, it looks exactly like a page from the Riddler comic. He's wearing his glasses and everything. Maybe take a good look at it if you haven't already, lol. And as far as Oz looking clean and innocent from his time with the Carmine family, all he'll have to do is say he was a driver for Mr. Falcones daughter, Sofia. Who he helped put away the first time, and he could admit to being an anonymous caller who gave the GCPD Sofias location to capture her again at the end of the series. That could be one way he comes off as squeaky clean to the courts and all of that guys buddies. But who knows, we'll have to see how it all plays out in The Batman sequel. Another great video, btw!!
@BobaTalks how confident are you that Vic is dead? Gives me a gut feeling that Batman could pick him up and have revived him. Vic's character ended up being pretty popular and liked, I could see a way they somehow save him after Penguin walks away.
Idk if you will see this, hopefully you will. But how do you feel about the idea of Penn Badley playing Harvey Dent in The Batman 2? I think he looks the part, with shows you like he’s capable of playing that dual identity nature really well as well as playing an articulate calculating man who always seems to be hiding something beneath the surface that you can’t see at face value at least initially. He’s also very characteristic and loveable person who you will easily want to root for and would feel really bad for when the transformation happens. I personally think he would be perfect and I hope you discuss it in your next The Batman 2 video.

They should go for broke and bring in the more fantastical elements of the batman mythos. Freeze, Ivy, Clayface, Ra's, etc. Just because the movie has a realistic look doesn't mean they're boxed in. Think of the Arkham video games they had a dark/gritty look with emphasis on realism as well.
I think a real cool twist on court of owls is to have it secretly be run by the league of shadows. Having Ras Al Ghul control crime and Gotham elites under the guise as the leader of the court, and the Talons be assassins would be a neat twist. Then when Batman thwarts his efforts, it destroys the control on crime Ras had over Gotham and leads crime to be chaos across the city (with joker leading the charge) in part 3

Thank God that Julian isn't actually Jonathan because he acts way too weird and has sexual mindset which is the complete opposite of who Scarecrow actually is. LeFranc offers a straightforward answer: "Well, I can say he's not the Scarecrow". Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow is still the best version of the character on screen.
Honestly, I really hope Julian Rush isn’t Scarecrow. That actor is just not very compelling. He has an odd and memorable look, but his performances are never that interesting. And I’m tired of the character name swap gimmick, it was pointless as far back as Star Trek Into Darkness.
I'm not sure what the future of Julian Rush will be in this universe, but as is I'm glad that he wasn't Scarecrow because I actually really disliked his performance and thought he was easily the weakest character in the show. To me he felt very poorly incorporated and found him extremely uninteresting. The show was great overall, but the character did at times feel pointless to me.

Sorry but Rush is less realistic of a last name than Crane. Also, Bella Real (and then using her last name for a pun in her campaign REAL CHANGE) is pretty over the top. I don’t think Theo Rossi will ever become the Scarecrow. It seems clear that they simply changed their mind about him. It feels like Lauren LeFranc wanted to use him but her and Matt agreed to just drop it because it would distract from the Sofia scenes and her trauma. And if Matt didn’t want to use Scarecrow in his movie, then it’s a useless character to hype up. Same thing with the Arkham show being canceled.

The Dark Knight , Batman Begins and Batman Returns are my top 3 Batman movies and I like them more as films by themselves more than The Batman but the way Matt Reeves has set up this version of Gotham is the best overall version of Batman ever for me if that makes sense . It just feels like the everything is set up so well to build from and fulfill the perfect film version of Gotham from the comics lore . I can’t wait to see this trilogy unfold and see who they choose to feature in the rogues gallery and how they use them.

I have a feeling the main villain in the batman 2 is going to be mr. Freeze, but he will be much more realistic than the cartoony adaptations we’ve seen before. I can picture an icy blue theme to the 2nd movie as opposed to the red theme that was in the first one. The blue will go along with
the theme of coldness and ice. Gotham is flooded, so maybe mr freezes evil plans will involve freezing that water. It all seems to be a perfect change of pace to keep the franchise interesting. Also, we havent seen mr freeze in awhile in a live action batman movie let alone a serious, realistic one. Seems like a perfect move.
Imagine an eccentric business man who invents weird (but not entirely cartoony) freezing-related stuff. Maybe he wants to block out the sun and make a permanent winter. Imagine him not looking like a full blown robot, but having a few of his inventions that he wears like a weird mask and a bionic arm attachment or something.
Edit - maybe gotham is going through a really cold winter and the flooding is frozen into ice all over the city. Maybe Mr Freeze is an owner of a company that makes snow vehicles and other tech that makes it easier to deal with snow. He uses this to his advantage and decides to essentially take over the city.
Damn. I'm so hyped for the Batman 2 after the Penguin. It feels like the Batman was so long ago. I remember being in hospital when we first started getting pictures from the set of the Batman and i was so freaking excited. Those first pictures of the GCPD vehicles and Bruce in his "drifter" attire helped me get theough a pretty rough 5 week hospital stay. Great stuff as always Boba.
An idea I have is that Julian Rush isn't Scarecrow but rather works with him, my main reason for believing this is that all the name changes thus far hasn't been all that different as people make it out to be.
Oswald Cobb is just Oswald Cobblepot but shortened, Edward Nashton *is* Riddler's real last name in some comics way before the movie.
Because of this, I think Julian will have a sort of assistant role, in the same vein as say Autumn from Batman: The Audio Adventures.
Speaking of that series actually, I could see them doing what BTAA did and have Penguin pay one of his associates to "testify" against him, when in reality he's there to get acid on Harvey Dent.
Another potential idea is having a sorta Arkham Shadow thing for Two Face's scarring but that would require Bruce's friendship with Harvey to be really strengthened heavily, the two need to be real close on a personal level.
I have a theory that Oz would change his name or at least modify it into cobblepot So he fits in that old money vibe.

I think it was on Reddit, I was reading, a rush is a type of small bird where a crane is a much bigger bird. So the idea was rush is still in his villain infancy and will grow into his crane persona.... Also, birds being connected to the court of owls (more birds)... Also also, penguin, another bird.

@@wirginiamobillio Figures. Never really liked the idea of Julian being Scarecrow, he acts nothing like him, isn't as interesting compared to the rest of the cast, and doesn't even have the same name changing conventions the other villains in the Reevesverse had.

It looks like Sofia Falcone (Gigante) can still play a big part in the story... Julian Rush is mad obsessed with her and I'm thinking she could use him / the scarecrow as her puppet. Either making him do dirty work like taking revenge on Oswald Cobb or spreading fear in the city with his own methods. But he's also an inside man within Arkham Asylum and could help plan a prison break which would be very problematic because if Joker and Riddler escape, the city would be in real danger. Additionally, Selina Kyle seems to be on Sofia's side although I have no idea how she could contribute.
Different topic and idk if any of it makes sense since I don't know a lot about the Batman comics but the way Sofia killed her family while having a sleepover with young Gia in the greenhouse, I see a hint at Poison Ivy. In my opinion, in a grounded universe, this is how I imagine someone like Poison Ivy would operate. The greenhouse is an important place for Sofia : she spent a lot of time in there with her brother during her childhood, that's where she took Oz for interrogation about her missing brother and most importantly that's where she took Gia the night she killed everybody. Or maybe even did she plant a seed (pun not intended) in young Gia's mind with this green environment : idk if Sofia made her feel safe in that greenhouse or if it would be a place of trauma for her since that's where she was when she lost her family... I know it's just a greenhouse but since we're looking for any clues for future villains, I thought I'd point at that one.
I feel like poision ivy should still be pamela. As for grounded universe it doesn't automatically mean realistic rather it involves the theoretical aspect. As long as it doesn't break the laws of physics and everything has somesort of explanation it could be passable.

What you say its just a homage or he's going to be used further in a future film, maybe he gets fired from arkham and starts going by Crane. I like to think Matt Reeves would like to flesh out the world in detail. I feel like Nolan had less care about the worldbuilding and more for story. I feel that Reeves does both
And if the latter is what they'll do then they probably made it Rush in penguin to not distract from Oz, then in future he'll blossom into Crane, either way Theo Rossi was brilliant and disturbing and I really hope he is used more otherwise I feel it'll be a waste

I think with these characters, we can't ever expect they'll become the familiar character we know. It was great to see Oz don the top hat and tails, but he's never gonna be the Penguin of the comics. This world has to be free to go where it wants. It can't be too beholden to every detail of the source material, or it'll just become a rote retread. And that's the last thing anyone really wants. So I suspect, if Julian Rush becomes the Scarecrow, or A Scarecrow, it'll be like nothing we've ever seen before. And he'll be the Julian Rush Scarecrow, unique to this universe, not the Jonathan Crane one.

I'd really like to see the Gotham "super mob" be the main focus overall. After seeing the rise of Penguin, it would be cool to see Black Mask and maybe even the Ventriloquist get the same treatment. Which would lead to an all out mob war between psychos in the finale

I kind of like the Penguin getting his connections by testifying on the events of the show. We have never seen this version of the character on the big screen and I see him being a big contender against the Batman later on.
On the Bruce Wayne front... I still have strong hopes that we'll get Dark Victory. Maybe not Dick Grayson swinging from rooftops, but the start of that relationship that kind of helps pull Bruce even more into the light.

In my own head canon I think there’s an absence of Batman for a little while because he put his body through absolute hell. He took point blank hits from a shot gun, the physical combat against a literal army, and that adrenaline booster (or whatever it was) had to have taken a massive toll on his body. I figured more Bruce and less Bat for a little while is just so he can heal from that fight. He is human after all

Do you think that Selina will find out who Batman is, since it’s like a long Halloween type of vibe in this world. To help fight against all the villains at once and since they said there isn’t going to be a catwoman series, I wonder if how we get more catwoman is her finding out who Bruce is so them working together is a way we get more of her since Batman is going to be Bruce more. And since in the first film, he wanted her to stay by how he thought about her for some of the film. Alfred asked,”A friend of yours?” Bruce responded,”I don’t know.” You can see he wanted to tell her so much but was hesitant and it was like he was so interested in her.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but I had a thought about Penguin’s mom regarding her compromised health state and how that can be a part of Penguin’s storyline in the next film. If Mr. Freeze is the Part II villain, maybe Penguin becomes aware of how Freeze preserves Nora cryogenically and Penguin wants the same for his mom? Maybe during the movie her health becomes worse or something like that and Penguin becomes desperate. Thoughts?

I think pt 2 will be about Bruce’s fear of himself, of vulnerability, of self-forgiveness, of opening up to people again, and so we’ll get villains like Clayface, Hush, Joker, Hugo Strange, all about this idea of self-image, perhaps while uncovering corruption in Arkham (and the Courts that put people there), illegal experiments on patients, spearheaded by mysterious rich elites.
And then pt 3 will be about a Bruce who’s opened up to relationships and fatherhood, but now deals with the fear of losing his new family, as he learns of the ubiquitous rich and elite Court. How far will Bruce allow his morals to bend (working together with the equally desperate Freeze? Penguin? The entire Rogues gallery?) to ensure he never goes through the death of his loved ones again.

Bruce might have to come forward and make a public statement in the attempt to clean up his parent's image, specifically his fathers. And just on a side note, Boba, have you noticed the black and white picture in Crane's office that almost looks exactly like a page out of The Riddler: Year One comics? It looks like Edward being tortured and like there's two parts of him being torn apart. And if he was supposed to be Crane, and Riddler's in Arkham who just caused all that havoc with the city, I bet he would enjoy torturing Riddler just for fun. A little bit of payback, if you will.
To me, it looks exactly like a page from the Riddler comic. He's wearing his glasses and everything. Maybe take a good look at it if you haven't already, lol.
And as far as Oz looking clean and innocent from his time with the Carmine family, all he'll have to do is say he was a driver for Mr. Falcones daughter, Sofia. Who he helped put away the first time, and he could admit to being an anonymous caller who gave the GCPD Sofias location to capture her again at the end of the series. That could be one way he comes off as squeaky clean to the courts and all of that guys buddies. But who knows, we'll have to see how it all plays out in The Batman sequel.

@BobaTalks how confident are you that Vic is dead? Gives me a gut feeling that Batman could pick him up and have revived him. Vic's character ended up being pretty popular and liked, I could see a way they somehow save him after Penguin walks away.

I think he looks the part, with shows you like he’s capable of playing that dual identity nature really well as well as playing an articulate calculating man who always seems to be hiding something beneath the surface that you can’t see at face value at least initially.
He’s also very characteristic and loveable person who you will easily want to root for and would feel really bad for when the transformation happens.
I personally think he would be perfect and I hope you discuss it in your next The Batman 2 video.

They should go for broke and bring in the more fantastical elements of the batman mythos. Freeze, Ivy, Clayface, Ra's, etc. Just because the movie has a realistic look doesn't mean they're boxed in. Think of the Arkham video games they had a dark/gritty look with emphasis on realism as well.
I think a real cool twist on court of owls is to have it secretly be run by the league of shadows. Having Ras Al Ghul control crime and Gotham elites under the guise as the leader of the court, and the Talons be assassins would be a neat twist. Then when Batman thwarts his efforts, it destroys the control on crime Ras had over Gotham and leads crime to be chaos across the city (with joker leading the charge) in part 3
I don’t know if I’m bugging but is this not kind of similar to what FOX’s Gotham did? Either way, I believe this is a neat idea and could work out very very well

Honestly, I really hope Julian Rush isn’t Scarecrow. That actor is just not very compelling. He has an odd and memorable look, but his performances are never that interesting. And I’m tired of the character name swap gimmick, it was pointless as far back as Star Trek Into Darkness.

I'm not sure what the future of Julian Rush will be in this universe, but as is I'm glad that he wasn't Scarecrow because I actually really disliked his performance and thought he was easily the weakest character in the show. To me he felt very poorly incorporated and found him extremely uninteresting. The show was great overall, but the character did at times feel pointless to me.

Sorry but Rush is less realistic of a last name than Crane. Also, Bella Real (and then using her last name for a pun in her campaign REAL CHANGE) is pretty over the top.
I don’t think Theo Rossi will ever become the Scarecrow. It seems clear that they simply changed their mind about him. It feels like Lauren LeFranc wanted to use him but her and Matt agreed to just drop it because it would distract from the Sofia scenes and her trauma. And if Matt didn’t want to use Scarecrow in his movie, then it’s a useless character to hype up. Same thing with the Arkham show being canceled.

The Dark Knight , Batman Begins and Batman Returns are my top 3 Batman movies and I like them more as films by themselves more than The Batman but the way Matt Reeves has set up this version of Gotham is the best overall version of Batman ever for me if that makes sense . It just feels like the everything is set up so well to build from and fulfill the perfect film version of Gotham from the comics lore . I can’t wait to see this trilogy unfold and see who they choose to feature in the rogues gallery and how they use them.
