I lived in Germany for ten years and moved back to the US. While I was there I collected a lot of HO trains from different countries and bought a lot of track, houses and a lot of accessories. Story short I am 68 and starting to now set up my European layout and finding this was great. My main track is the profi-gleis from Fleischmann. Everything is from Europe and I am sure not to many Americans have European trains, I could be wrong and I would hope so. I am just at a lost not knowing anything about this hobby, but want to learn since I have a few thousand in train stuff.
The Seppan harbor is my favorite part of this layout. I love every detail there: water, tires, shed, sliding doors... And I would love to see more of Swedish rolling stock :)
великолепно! когдато в детстве собирал городок TT HOBBY 1:120. с огоньками в домиках из гирлянд новогодней елки. и сидел как в сказке смотря на бегающие поезда с горящими фарами. 👍
Excelent. That's the difference between turn back the trains and OPERATE the layout. In this video is the first time that I see this difference. When you operate the layout each train movent have a purpose. A passenger train goes to station, and carge train goes to carge station, etc. Happy New Year for all frends
It's funny; I watched the video on building the harbor warehouse only two days ago. Now I see this tour and I find myself getting nostalgic for something I just watched. Time passes too quickly. Great tour of a great layout.
I love the story you've added to enhance each area of the layout and give realism (obviously supported by the amazing scenery and detailed/weathered locos!). It also just makes the video so much more entertaining to watch!
It's always a pleasure to watch your video's Martin and your beautiful Model Railway is a great adventure to follow along. Thanks for sharing and may 2019 bring you joy and happiness and happy railroading !
Thank you Filip! Wish you a joyful 2019 too! There is a video being published next Friday on how to both carve and paint portals. I have a poll active right now where you can vote for the type of portals I will make in the video. There are currently only 9 votes so yours will have significant weight. Check out the Patreon page for information and poll (Link is upper right hand corner, in the banner of the channel page). The portals are given away to the Patron who gives me the best reason.
Absolutely Heavy,......... great job!!!!!!!! 4 thumbs down ???????? I think Handy or Sony Players.......and Martin, your Diesel Engines have an ULTRASOUND........i love it !
The best thing about your video is that you don't use high tech expensive products from expensive brands, you use toilet paper and wood glue for example! Thank you for making the greatest content on UA-cam!
Thank you very much! Model railroad is expensive anyway, so there is no need to make it even worse. Besides, working with basic materials gives you more freedom to create, rather than assembling pre-fab stuff. There is a video being published next Friday on how to both carve and paint portals. WOW, how did I miss this update? it is easy to forget that you are putting lots of things into a working track system, so It is lovely to see how all the tutorials are coming together and helping build your model railway.
Excelente, esa es la diferencia entre dar vueltas a los trenes en un circuito y OPERAR LA MAQUETA. Al operar la maqueta hay un sentido y un propósito para cada tren, un trabajo que va a realizar. Feliz Navidad
I'm a student right now who's constantly moving from place to place without much money. So at the the moment I can't invest in a railroad. But when I have a settled at a place and found a job with a decent pay, I'm totally gonna build an entire railroad just like you
Glædelig Jul og Godt Nytår. Det er et fantastisk anlæg, det er som om det er i virkligheden man rejser rundt i. Jeg glæder mig til at se mere fra Marklinofsweden. De bedste hilsner fra Danmark
You are inspiron lots of new model train beginners like me. I am always waiting for your new videos. Greetings from Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka also have a beautiful and unique places like Demodara for create scenery for layouts.
Hi from the US! It's great how the vid follows a train through an actual working....the best way to display the layout, as well as how you operate at realistic speeds. Also, love the sound of that Norwegian EMD! (Sounds just like the old GMs we had in Ireland) A very happy new subscriber.....
Thank you very much for your positive feedback! Welcome as subscriber! Yeah.. Those engines are just awsome. There is a video being published next Friday on how to both carve and paint portals. Thank you Joe! The statues are a bit of my favorite too.. I was commuting by train for a year here in Stockholm, so I´ve been there.. In the snow and cold waiting for the trains, which never arrives in time...

Your attention to detail is fantastic. How you can turn pieces of foam into a masterpiece of a bridge and retaining walls is beyond words.
Thank you!
Much better that ANYTHING on TV and per minute far better than anything on the Cinemas!
You are a great artist!! Congratulations!!
