One of the most beautiful layouts I have seen. The design, the details, it is all very realistic. A lot of work but also a lot of pleasure radiates from it. Greetings from the Netherlands!
I agree, they did a beautiful job. I wish I lived closer to this club. It’s a 3 hour drive for me to get there. I can’t wait to go again. ( I first posted this reply to you after you commented, but for so reason it posted as a comment, not a reply??)
@@tjwilkins7065 It’s one of those things, it’s so much more impressive in person! If you look at my video of the layout with my railcar cam, there is a secret scene when you pass through the tunnels!
Thanks for the great video. I personally love the fall colors on a layout. Always reminds me of back home in New England. What incredible detail on this layout.
The Rochester junction area is very well done. Thats an amazing model the depot that, unfortunately, no longer stands. I do appreciate the efforts of the volunteers who do their best to preserve the real place as a park. The club did a good job of modeling the actual location given having to compress it. The Lehigh Valley lives on!
Thanks again for stopping by our open house this year! Your video turned out great from it. It was good to see you again and include all of the shenanigans throughout the day. Feel free to stop by again. I'm glad I didn't cause an incident at 15:12 unlike Norfolk Southern in Ohio... maybe I could get a BCOL engine as a reward for not derailing anything?
I had so much fun! You guys were a blast to hang out with! I’m so relieved there were no mushrooms clouds while you guys ran things!😄 Let me check with Santa about that locomotive!🎅🏻🚂
Epic! Thanks for showcasing this👍👍The only tower left around here with switch rods is the BX Tower in St. Thomas. A community garden is intermingled with it. Think it's on my ECRM video.
Hey Mark! Nice video editing from pan still shots to video, back and forth. Did you see Otto up there? I think that's his club layout . Nice to see Victor NY. Once again, hauled bulk milk from that neck of the woods into Buffalo NY Sorrento Dairy. Thanks for posting this, real cool - Bill.
Howzit : What a GREAT Layout; with scenery; structures and detail of absolute note ! Which makes the lack of weathering on many Locos and items of Rolling-Stock being most surprising and indeed; a tad disappointing 😔 .. The overly clean; * Shiny Plastic * trains being such a contrast to the passing high quality everything !🤙🚂
I believe this open house was have fun and run whatever members would like. For example, they don’t normally run Thomas stuff, but it thrills the little kids who came to visit. I was told when they do operation sessions they have era specific trains and I’m not sure how that rolling stock looks. Overall though, it’s a beautiful layout and a fun club!
If your only goal is to be negative about someone’s video then stop. Appreciate the time and effort people put into bringing videos for other train enthusiasts to enjoy.
The sale was only on Saturday because the church had to use the room it was in on Sunday. I would have been interested in those Walthers Power Line towers if they were at a good price!
It was an Open House event, not a private tour. What you can do is, put the video on and turn off the volume. Then have a second device and have it play a video of train sounds. Problem solved.
Soooooooperb layout. Loved it 👌🏼❤️
I agree! I’m looking forward to my next trip there!
Wow amazing awesome beautiful layout loving it 😲
When I first say the layout I was blown away! I didn’t know where to start!
Outstanding modeling
I can’t wait to visit again!

I had a great time! Thank you for showing me around and letting me see the staging room!
@@MyLifesTracks your welcome
Great share very nice club layout really detailed awesome stuff My Life’s Tracks 👍🏻🚂
It’s one of those layouts were you look at a section, come back and look at it again and see a bunch of details you missed!
Wow wow, the level of detail wow

Outstanding layout
I can’t wait to visit again, so much detail!
woooowwww so much detail, love that little switcher!
You can spend hours at this layout trying to see everything!
Nice layout and nice presentation. Glad to see some B&O equipment in action.
Thank you. I had so much fun videoing this amazing layout!
This was wonderful. What I saw was thousands of hours of many hands doing such technically beautiful work!! Thanks.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I like how there are so many different scenes and so well detailed!
wuaooo Wonderfull congratulations
Thank you so much!
The forest in its signature Northeastern Fall colors is a 10/10!
I agree with you! It is so impressive.
Thanks for the great video. I personally love the fall colors on a layout. Always reminds me of back home in New England. What incredible detail on this layout.
Thank you. The Fall area was my favorite! It reminded me of Letchworth State Park in New York.
I was a member 35+ years ago, it’s great they still have the trolleys running.
That was really neat! There is so much variety on this layout.
Man , I wished I was there . I saw about 200 dollars worth of trains I would have definitely purchased at the end of this video!
I wish I had made the train sale on Saturday to. I saw a couple of interesting items!
That is an amazing layout.. great looking trains too.. thanks for sharing great video 😊
I must have gone around the layout about six times and I kept finding things I over looked before! It really is a beautiful layout!

I was so impressed by this club! I bet the next time I go back, I’ll see a bunch of details I missed on this trip.
That's an amazing layout! Loudest open house I've ever heard!lol
They get a good sized crowd, plus my yapping! 😄
That layout is awesome! Hmmm, I'd turn myself in for a BC Rail Dash 8 even if I'm innocent! 😆
If you ever get the chance to go to their Open House, take it! I would spend a few nights in the slammer for a Rapido locomotive!😄
@@MyLifesTracks Right on man, will do. I would too! Reminds me of "I would walk mile for a Camel" well I would walk a mile for a Rapido!
Awesome footage, great coverage, sweet looking layout! (Dave).
Thank you! I felt like a kid in a big candy store!😃

Wow Mark, thanks for taking us along. This is an inspiration for getting off my butt and working on my layout. So many great scenes..
I know what you saying. I need to figure out what to do for a layout! I have so many trains in boxes.
Awesome video Thanks for sharing it😊
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Nice video Mark, thanks for posting it. Would you mind if I shared it through our Facebook Page?
Thank you! Yes, you can share it.
I actually have a PBNE SW7 that would look absolutely beautiful running anything in Bethlehem on that layout
That would be nice!
Epic! Thanks for showcasing this👍👍The only tower left around here with switch rods is the BX Tower in St. Thomas. A community garden is intermingled with it. Think it's on my ECRM video.
That tower scene was so cool! I missed the fine details the first two times I walked by it!

Thank you. I don’t know Otto. I’ll ask my buddy in that club if he was around. It’s cool to see towns you know in miniature!
I don't think Otto made it this year. He's not a member, but we usually see him since he lives so close.

@@MyLifesTracks Fair comment and your reply appreciated ! As I mentioned; a GREAT Layout ... ! 🤙☝️
Just wondering why they don't paint strips on the roads for the cars but every other details are spot on ?
I not sure. I can ask one of the members. If I remember correctly, the layout takes place around the 1950s. Maybe they had less lines back then?
A big city? It’s a ‘small’ it’s! 👽
If your only goal is to be negative about someone’s video then stop. Appreciate the time and effort people put into bringing videos for other train enthusiasts to enjoy.
What cities are represented on this magnificent layout? I saw Caledonia. I know where that small city is.
Going eastbound from staging:
Buffalo NY, Caledonia NY, Rochester Junction/Mendon NY, Victor NY, Geneva NY, Hazelton PA, Bethlehem PA, Jersey City.
Great footage! What a beautiful layout, thanks for sharing! Didn't realize there was a sale associated with this as well. Did you pick anything up?
The sale was only on Saturday because the church had to use the room it was in on Sunday. I would have been interested in those Walthers Power Line towers if they were at a good price!
This layout looks fantastic, one question where is the TH&B hiding
Hmmm, I’m not sure, maybe in the back!😃 I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the members has something TH&B.
I would share this video if it weren't for the background conversation going on, which really ruins the viewing
It’s an Open House with 50+ people around the layout at any given time. On my next visit I’ll bring a bullhorn and tell everyone “Shhhhhhhhh!”
too much chatter detracs from the video
