Fitness is transformative. It can change your body, of course, but more importantly, it has the power to change how you see yourself and your place in the world. Performix athlete and overall badass Mike Vazquez understands this power, because fitness transformed him into the man he is today.
Through a unique blend of breakdancing, calisthenics, and traditional barbell movements, Vazquez has created a signature training style and a body marked by speed, power, and real strength. He may have started out overweight and unhappy, but today he's a business owner and proud role model to his son, and he embodies the Performix notion of "greatness, unrelenting."
Check out Vazquez's inspiring story, and then try one of his heart-pounding workouts!
If you want to look like Mike, you need to train like Mike-and the video you just watched only delivers a tiny taste of how this animal really trains. But don't worry-you don't need to be able to stand on your head or hold yourself upside down in order to follow Vazquez's workout.
You do, however, need to hit the gym ready to work. Vazquez's training style is not for the faint of heart. It combines rapid-fire supersets of bodyweight and barbell movements, taxing nearly every aspect of your fitness level.
If you think you've got what it takes to hang with Vazquez, get ready to channel your inner breakdancer and try this challenging workout. We have no doubt it will engage every muscle in your body-potentially including your upchuck reflex!
| Workout Notes |
Once you've completed Vazquez's quick warm-up, get ready to work on overdrive! Vazquez's lean body is a byproduct of how quickly and intensely he trains. To keep pace, your goal is to keep your rest to an absolute minimum. On each superset or triset, go from one exercise to the other without rest. You can only rest after you've completed the 2-3 exercises as prescribed. When you do rest, don't take any longer than about 15-20 seconds. Get a sip of water, wipe the sweat off your face, and get right back at it.
If you're not accustomed to moving your body through these exercises at this speed and rep range, you may need to do fewer reps or fewer sets than originally prescribed. Do what you can do at your current fitness level, but try to continue working as quickly and efficiently as possible. By repeating this workout over time, you will become better and more efficient at it.
When you're done with this workout, you'll move on to a little metabolic treat Vazquez calls the "finisher." To do it properly, you'll take an interval-training approach. Start with push-ups and do them for a full 45 seconds. When the clock hits 0:45, rest for 15 seconds, then move right on to mountain climbers. Complete each exercise at this work:rest ratio one time.

Ohh I forgot to put BEGINNER in my search box
lol
haha
😂😂💀
hahahahaha i saw this post 5 minutes in and omg yes.
Lmao
2:41 "do it slow" proceeds to do the exercise at lightning speed
he is doin them fast and the editor made it even faster , check how he lands
Thats slow for him. LoL
exactly, and what about time under tension? would be way more effective if he actually did them slow, but then explosive movements can be important too for calisthenics but sureely way more risky for beginners to get injured with bad form and fast movement...
hognigk96 yea that's wat is was saying
I think he does it fast because he can actually manage to control the negative at that pace based on the strength level of his core notwithstanding the fact that going slower is best for control but he's advanced
I actually died. This is my ghost. Thanks youtube
Jesus Christ 😂😂😂
RIP
LOL
😂
Well I guess I will take the "finisher intervals" as my main workout.
Well for a beginner that will be more than enough. And, well, wide push up claps = yeah - no...
LOL same here
well, maybe he could do a wide KNEE push up clap as a start.:)
haahhaaaa...
😂 me too
Doin this shit next time I go to the gym. pray for me
may god be with you
+MrSupachef Best Comment.
+MrSupachef how did it turn out?
it's been 3 months since MrSupachef updated us on his quest.
Let's have a moment of silence for the nigga we lost through the struggle of trying to get fit. Shoutout to you MrSupachef for trying my guy
Reazon54ATX liek dis if u cri everiteim
not everyone can do a routine this hard, depends on their over all health, physical strength and endurance you have got to be working out for years and years to develop strength like this doesnt happened over night this guy is really great and great motivation
Not for Beginners my friend
He's not playing about the "now go puke in the trash" part. lol
Your finisher is my whole daily workout.
For 90% of the people who work out it is the same as yours 😂😂😂....
His "Finisher" literally finished me
completed this just now, barely.
can't feel my shoulders.
amazing workout, this just showed me how much I have to improve. thanks.
Two weeks in and also seeing and feeling awesome results! Thanks Mike!
A very complete and effective workout that targets every single muscle and a challenge of strenght, speed and stamina!!!! As a fan of fullbody workouts Im going to take a shot at it
Props to whoever edited this! Really well put together

Ha hahaha
Lmao
Organic Giraffe the lesson is smoke some weed
Organic Giraffe lmfaooo
You open my whole lips.😃😃😃😃😃
this is more of an endurance workout than a mass builder. perfect for fat loss.
I'm gonna go give it a try. I imagine you can can get extremely ripped and build a little bit of muscle aswell as long as your eating very clean and doing these types of workout consistently.
+Hayden Rose ill do that, looks so good, it will let you feel light ... good luck
+Omar Obaidi yeah I do this type of training everyday at my house cause it's fun and you can switch up the excersises constantly for better results. I'd rather have very strong cardio and muscular endurance/ functionality than have powerlifting strength but no cardio or endurance. To each his own though, I get too bored doing strength style training.
if u eat good their'll be muscle gain too. Not a bodybuilder gain but still pretty good to look at.
Manuj Madan ñññ
Mike Vazquez, your bodybuilding tutorials are amazing !
best workout so far I have seen... i ma definitely trying this..
Great full body workout Mike. I just finished this workout with a few modifications due to limited equipment availability, but overall it was very intense. There were moments were I thought I was going to past out especially during the squat and kneeling squat jump sets. Overall, it was a great mix of exercises that challenged the body and given my body type it fit perfectly in the way I like to work out. Keep the vids coming especially the full body workouts.
“How intense do you train”
“Yes”
This is just his warm up lol
Your motivation to be a part of your life is a great thing to do and you will be able to enjoy your life
more of this guyy. its awesomd
I can't do this at the gym😂 people be looking at me so I bought workout equipment at home
what did you buy? :D
+Jasper Geluki I bought a Titan home gym machine model t1 x that was like 67000$ came with everything I needed.
Googled it, what a massive machine. Good luck with it, hope you like it! Looks like you can train every body part with this machine.
+Jasper Geluk yah thanks mate!
67000$ wait what?
just did this workout in the gym, great for burning fat, will incorporate a full body into my schedule at least once a week, people thinking you would look weird doing this in the gym, you need to get over that fear and focus on yourself not other people, you dont lift for the guy opposite you, you lift for yourself!
Awesome !! Thank you
The dead lift to pull up to push up is all i need it and maybe the first routine
i think full body workouts are the only thing needed for a beginner. i started doing videos recently as well, but most of them focused on single bodyparts. i'm gonna start making full body workouts too!
Great work out vid. Thanks for taking the time to lay it all out for us. This workout is totally doable at a public gym, though I agree you need to avoid the busy times. Ive just moved to FBW's and am getting great results. Leaned from 95k to 90k in the last 2 weeks and not losing gains, just fat. Cheers Mike..your an inspiration in my workouts.
I used to do some of the exercises when I was in my early and mid 20's they helped and they still do .
i just came from the gym and i done it.... damn... i think I'll not be moving for a week....
I did this workout, it showed me that i Need to improve my strengh. I always done Bodybuilding 10-12 Sets with Long Breaks. I Tell u guys, These 30 seconds Break between Sets will kill your Ego
edit: i hated my Life during this Workout
But man you feel good after it ❤️🤙
Stay tuned and grind

This is very high level. However its a complete workout and can be customised to your level. Instead of 4 sets of everything reduce it to 3 to start with. Instead of 15 reps do 10 and so forth. On heavy weight like deadlift snd squats do a what u can do as opposed to your body weight and eventually it’ll be good. I started like that and 2 months in, I can do the whole workout now I do it once a week to keep in check. Super workout👏
Thanks!
Great video & awsome work out by Mike V

Killer workout! Beautiful! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome...Need more
i'm out of breathing just from watching
It's almost took 2 hours for me to complete this circuit...
I split it into 2 workouts, upper and lower body. Too much for 1 day I think
@@AmanSohal it's not too much ...but we should get habituated to that routine... splitting into upper and lower body won't give us "KICK"🤣✌️✌️
This is great work
Tried this workout for the first time. Now totally exhausted and I didn't do half the intensity of the video yet. Thank you for inspiring me!
😄 I subscribed bro.. This is too amazing.
Thanks for the Sub!
This routine is done on the same day or how is it divided ??
IslandBoy__ I guess for most of us this could be a week of workout! 😂

This is a good workout. It's tough and can be used as a military workout. I'm a US Marine this workout will more than suffice for any day of the week. Good Shit Mr. Vasquez.
Hi Michael.😀 Im a Skinny Pilipino people. But im trying my best like as you 💪😀
Amazing fitness workout. Well details. Great job.
Thanks this is what im takling about.
This is straight outta Guantanamo Bay, but where's the barking dogs?
anyone who says you can't build much muscle working out like this doesn't know how to build muscle
hulk smash you definitely won’t build any mass that’s for sure
This dude weighs like 150 maybe
I loved it , keep it up and still waiting for more workout + it's fun to do it
Crazy workout, I loved it, going to be 57 years old, in a couple of months, awesome challenge.
that is a very well planned workout too! thumbs down up!
down up?
Lol autocorrect did that. I meant thumbs up!
How to do this: buy your own gym.
true, it'd be just about impossible at any gym you'd go to.
I did this, and many other full body workouts like that hundreds of times in public gyms ... where's the problem? Are you scared of people who may look at you?
jarrod2292 this is kinda common shit for calisthenics guys. I started adding weights when It got easier
Go to Anytime Fitness between midnight and 4am. Usually little to no people there. No staff either.
Just watching it looks like a KILLA! Mike, thanks for this video and much love and respect to you! 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
Thanks Michael
I feel like people over complicate things SprintsBenchSquat PressPull upsDeadlifts Finish with beach muscles
Finally some1 is naty
thank you!
Thanks brother 😊
The only natty on this channel
Rollo Q i agree. People lie all the time about being natty. That pisses me off as the young and upcoming athletes are fooled by these lies. But this physique is truly achievable naturally. The size, the definition, everything suggests- natty. Of course requires immense hard work and dedication. And this guy is a beast when it comes to hard work. Respect! 👍
this is some serious over training right here this dude is on some grade A caffeine
lmfao.....seriously
Aurora Mendoza you are hot
+Barry Mclaughlin classic lazy person's excuse
deftones3138 I train everyday with calisthenics plus i work a full time job and I'm also a single dad so i am definitely not lazy ! But there is no need for so much volume in one workout as he is just going to burn out that's just a fact and nothing to do with being lazy all though i do respect his mind set .
+Barry Mclaughlin I just tried this for the first time today and I can tell you that although some of it was pretty challenging, I definitely don't feel over-trained. I think this focuses more on conditioning and stamina rather than muscle building, but I think it's a good routine if you want to be more explosive, powerful and agile. With all that said; I must say that I do like this routine, but I will be tweaking it out a bit for my own goals. I'm definitely doing this once a week, every Friday, for the next 3 months.
Why would anyone dislike this video?... clearly don’t know anything about exercise. Dudes spot on! ✌🏾💯
First time finishing this one but daaaamn! You are a beast! Can’t wait for this one to get a bit easier
