This video is completely wrong and misleading and this guy apparently doesn't know what hes talking about. This tuner does NOT come with ANY MPT tunes like the one on the dyno run preloaded on it.. After receiving the tuner you have to go through a process to get the MPT tunes emailed to you. Then at the 4:11 mark of this video your MPT tunes will show up where it says no custom tunes on this video. This guy just installed the SCT 93 octane tune in this video... not the MPT tune shown on the dyno earlier in the video. Very misleading.
So is the 143 hp gain from just the tune, or is that with all the other bolt on? Will my bone stock 2011 3.5 see 143 hp gain, or do I need bolt ons to help?
The horsepower gain shown in this video is from the 93 octane tune alone, no other bolt-on mods added! If you wanted to pair this tune up with an intake or exhaust system, you'd see even higher gains! -Zach
@@Reggiestreet Yes, the numbers you are talkin about are at the flywheel. These are at the wheel. You lose about 20% horsepower at the dino because they are doing rear-wheel horsepower. Not flywheel.
Did you notice any gains with the intake and exhaust? Been looking at roush cat back exhaust for a 2013 3.5, hoping for some better mpg as it’s lifted with big tires. I do have a K&n filter but stock box and intake
@@LogosFarm definitely big gains and sounds awesome. Also better gas mileage. I also installed a SCT BDX TUNER. WHICH is amazing . even works over wifi for updates. $370 bucks on eBay. Too bad I sold the truck.
@@miketr732 ah dang. I am looking at the SRT MPT tune for 91 octane. Probably going to get that exhaust after hearing some good things like you said so thank you for the feed back!!

How does his ecoboost get 265 with out the tuner mine hits 400 stock
Damn that's absolutely insane that's a lot of power for a truck that's stock
These trucks gonna get recognized soon 🤧🤧🤧 they slept on for now sssshhhhh🤫
I always try to hype up the Eco's but V8s are always more popular! -Zach

What tune would I use if I want better gas mileage? What gains in mpg can I expect?
What would be the difference in gains between 87 and 93 octane? Is it worth using the 87 tune option?
Are you willing to guarantee this product at over 100hp gain? Or just thats what it made on this particular model?
I have a 2014 for explore with the 3.5 engine is not a equal booth will that chip still work
So the device comes with 3 preset tunes and then you can get 3 custom tunes?
What kind of HP/TQ gains could I expect on 90 octane? I live in Alaska and 90 octane is highest and most readily available here. Thanks.
How do I get my tunes? It doesn’t have anything preloaded that I can find. Will they be emailed to me or what?
Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same problem
Yes. They emailed them
is this a custom tune by mpt or one of the 3 that come on the device?
Had the same question
Idk what doing wrong it doesnt go to the "overview" screen then download the tune? That's the exact point yall skip over.
Did you ever fix this?
@@eduardodominguez2540 I did I think I called MPT tuneing and they helped. I don't recall exactly what the fix was.
Can I use this tune on more than 1 truck?
Therin Riddle no it is vin locked until you detune the truck you tune first
Can you turn off a CEL code with that tuner? I’m trying to get catless downpipes on mine.
You cannot turn off o2 codes with a tuner- sorry Kyle. -Justin
you can reset cel codes but if the fault still exists it will come back on.
Does it have to be connected at all times?
Do I need to upgrade the drive shaft for higher speeds
Unless you plan on going over 150mph I wouldn't worry about it. -Justin
I have a roush cold air intake and cat back exhaust on my 2014 3.5 EcoBoost. How much gains in horsepower and torque.
Over 120whp and same for torque

anybody else’s truck randomly turn off and on throughout the tuning process?
How do you make your truck go back stock after using
it's an option on the tuner. before it uploads a custom tune it saves the stock tune to the device.
after you flash the tune can you unplug the controller
William Havens follow instructions
Yes. It doesnt need to be plugged in to function.
That stock number is wayyyy off bye
That's at the wheel not really crank
143 horsepower my ass.
You sound mad? Why wouldn't it pick that up ? It's been proven time and time again the ecos pick up 150hp with a tune alone
lol
