Special thanks to all the folks involved with the Play it Forward box as well! I initally had an entire blurb typed out about this for the description, but guess who managed to hit UA-cam's description character limit?
As-is, guess who used 4,999 of 5,000 available characters?
Also, for those wondering where I've been the past month, along with finishing this up, I've been writing for the Faultline UA-cam channel as well, and we've been growing way quick! If you like geography, check us out: ua-cam.com/users/Faultlinevideos

UA-cam really likes 5000 limits doesn't it? 5000 maximum liked videos a time, 5000 maximum videos on a playlist, 5000 description characters, 500 maximum replies on a comment, 1000 channel bio characters and 1000 channel sub box (I'm sure it's more but eventually you hit a cap and it becomes buggy) truly one of the sites ever

I kind of wish the Army Men series would make a come-back. 3DO definitively went far too all in on it back in the day, but I think the central concept is a cool way to tell war stories.
Bonus: With stuff like modern ray tracing and such, all that shiny plastic contrasted with realistic environments & explosions could potentially look REALLY cool.

That would honestly be way cool!

Woo! Yes--so glad to see the Play It Forward Box continuing on--love how much traveling it's done through so many really great people. Thank YOU for keeping it going, sharing, and passing it along! Aw yeah, some tabletop love here--very nice, Love Letter is a fantastic travel game. Same here--love collecting demo discs!
AND adding this to the GBA video is great simply because though I don't do a whole lot of handheld, thanks to the GB Player, I can get some solid time in with this one and have always enjoyed--and been impressed--by the vast library. Even the launch title lineup is immense!
Aside from some of the great SNES ports we would get, things like Super Monkey Ball really were impressive with the 3D look for a handheld. The minor gripes for Castlevania were paled in fact that we had a return to classic side-scrolling form and on the go to boot. I forget about that Dodgeball game!
Komani Krazy Racers was a fascinating addition--loved the characters bundled into it. I'd still like to get that SH title, just for fun.
I liked Mario Advance because I've always enjoyed SMB2, but the voices were a bit overused at times. The more you play it, the more it's like okay, that's enough.

@@StuffWePlay It really is amazing how, from the get go, the GBA had such a stellar library!

Honestly, I'm glad After School Dice Club inspired you to try some tabletop games. That's actually one of my new favorite Anime since I'm a game designer, myself. Also, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is one of my favorite Castlevania games on the GBA. Looking forward to the MM Battle Network Collection for the Switch, as well. Great video!

Thank you so much! Honestly, it's been doubly lovely since my partner and I have both been trying out a bunch of tabletop stuff. Funnily enough, if only because it's so easy in short bursts when there's only a few minutes to spare, we've been doing especially a ton of Quixx, though we've also in the past bit had a chance to play some Betrayal, Ice Cool, and also just play around in general with stuff available via Tabletop Simulator haha

if i subscribe to any sport subgenre it's definitely racing and rally. there are a lotta dang good sims out there that capture the spirit to a T. GT Advance being one of them! cars and racing is an interest that i've recently kindled a passion for but now i'm more or less willing to try most racing simulations and arcade games.

i can actually give pretty good input on some sports videogame fans perspective. I havent bought a new one since 2015 and honestly have no intention of buying the newer microtansaction packed messes but as far as my list of all games i remeber playing is concerned there are 52 sports games amongst them. Like back in the day i used to get every years version of ncaa football, not brand new of course my parents wouldnt have allowed that but a year or two after release they'd hit a more affordable price. I cant speak as to why someone would buy games for individual sports but for team sports each year the teams ratings and rosters would change. In ncaa footballs case more changed year to year than say madden for example because most new releases would have different conferences and new teams available. In addition you could create your own teams & stuff, creating your own logo, roster, stadium etc. oh they also had all the bowls with their trophies and many prominent rivalries with their trophies as well. It was incredibly satisfying as a kid and even now i sometimes hop back into ncaa football 2010 to make a custom team and live out my fantasy of stomping on all my least favorite teams lol.

I never had a GBA but some of these games look really really fun! I think I would have loved Kuru Kuru Kururin when I was younger if I was ever able to play it!

Great video. I Don't think I've played any of these games. I didn't get the GBA on launch. I got the Black SP in 2003 and the NES model in 2004. I later sold them when the original DS and the DS lite played GBA games. I later bought a used Silver/Gray GBA when I got the 3ds.
Well, except Namco Museum and Super Mario Advance. I still have Namco Museum. I had the Super Mario Advance series but at the time, I didn't like the changes that were done to them. I should probably give them another try.
    I literally LOL'd at "Sonic Blast isn't a blast"
