Cheers, that's a great demo and you have a really tasty style. Have a 64 on the way so did a UA-cam search. Yours is the best that came up. And what an instrument, really excited now!
Dude you absolutely killed it. I researching 64 melody maker because I’m trying to figure out if our should buy one and no stores around me have one. Your play style is similar to mine and you tone is banging so you definitely helped a ton brother thanks man and shit with the dope video! Thanks again man I’m pretty much sold now.
@@leeguitar5210 Mine goes very bright from 9-10 on on vol. I like to work my vol for clean/ dirt but that last but it’s like super bright. Typically run my tone around 6-7
Congrats for your playing Lee it’s awesome ! Just one question about the guitar bridge : is it the original one or did you install a new one ? Thank you.
Beautiful old Melody Maker and beautiful tone and playing too!
Wonderful guitar, I remember Dick Wagner on Lou Reed's R&R Animal!💕
Best melody maker player on youtube.
That clip proves super-distortion pickups and fancy expensive gear won't get you there. Awesome tone.

Sounds great!!
Nice chops!
Tasty playing mate!
Nice play. Great tone. I really like your vibrato. I really think you're going to drive up the price and desire for a MM.
My first electric!!
Yours looks to have just vertical checked like mine Lee. Nice playing mate.
Thanks !
Great player
Lovely little jam!
Very Good!
Awesome playing bro...👍👍
AWESOME!!
Nice work! Maybe a quick lesson on the progression and solo?
I have to say that jack location would drive me nuts. I think I would have to move it down under.
Yes, or use an angle plug
Very nice playing and tone! Is the pickup original?
Did you do the 50's wiring mod on yours Lee ? Keep looking at my 1960 MM and soldering iron - lol
It’s standard wiring on that one mate 🤙

Thank you.
It is the original "Flashbridge".
@leeguitar What amp are you playing through???
Hi, I can't remember what the amp was unfortunately. Possibly an early 70s fender twin or pro reverb.
Nice, but what's with the knobs all the time?
No idea haha
What was your gear here? If i may ask. You had a John Mayer thing going on a little bit.
Dries Lambrecht I believe I’m plugged straight into an 80s red knob Fender ‘’the twin’’ if I remember correctly. Lee
Thanks for the response! No pedals. Interesting. I should learn how dial in my own amp better, haha
Making melodys
すげぇ良い音で良い演奏なんだけど、ノブ触りまくるのが気になる
癖かな?
Yes its just a habit
Very nice but for hevans sake leave the bloody controls alone for a couple of seconds.
Im not actuallty adjusting anything it's just an unconcious habit. We all have them..
