  • As I said earlier, stainless jumbo frets are very popular here. Of course, it's not necessary to remove the nibs for such refrets. Someday I'll show you a video of refret with nibs saving or reconstruction. But not today 🙃
Also we launch YT sponsorship, and already have educational content about fretworks.
Detailed description of video, tools and agents used will be a bit later on my Patreon.

Thank you for great feedback! Also want to inform you about YT scam. Scammers pretend to be me, tell you that you win something (or other nonsense) and you need to talk outside the platform.
If you see messages like this - report and block 😉

Hello. I hope you see this message. I see you were slotting an unslotted bridge. I recently purchased one and the company I bought it from said there are plenty of UA-cam videos out there showing what to do with this. There isn’t from what I found. One of the videos showed them pounding a string to create the slot. Do you recommend us or just filing the groove?

I wish I could report the scammers. I get the same message every time I watch one of your videos. It's always someone who goes under your name on telegram. It's in the notifications, but that only gives me the option to "mute" that person. No option to report them, or block them. YT is such a joke sometimes.

Better to string as usual, the raise the stop tailpiece til you get the tension you want. That way you can keep the angle the strings go over the bridge at at high as possible. A lot of bridges are not high enough to keep the angle with a wrap over. I have done it that way for 40 years on all my bridge/stop tailpiece guitars.

It’s fitted correctly. It’s a Nashville bridge, the intonation screws face away from the neck. The ABR-1 has the screws facing the neck.
That’s how they came out the factory.

Why doesn't the CA glue soak in too far and stain the fretboard? Is it becasue of residual oil in the surface of wood?

    Hello everything is fine?
What glue do you apply to the frets and what product do you use to clean excess glue from the frets?

I'd like to know how to avoid the losing of fret binding which is a characteristic of Tradistional and Standard version.

И снова великолепная работа проделана Татьяна,дам совет для более эффективного размягчения и чистки от клея под ладом используйте (этилоцетат)👍

I wish you were closer. I'd get you to refret my 2023 LP Classic. I just had it refretted with jumbo SS frets and the guy didn't do a good job. Took it back for him to correct it and it's not much better. The frets are not as big as I specified, either. Now I'm going to take it to my old luthier in Atlanta to do it again (he did my other 4 LP's). But I live in another state now, and it will be a 6 hour drive both ways.

Great channel Tanya, and you showcase great skill. I do have to ask, is it a guitar repair VLOG site or a nail salon?

What do you do after glueing yhe frets? Is that acetone, before using the chisel to remove the excess glue? Thank you!

Excellent work as usual, Miss Tanya, and I was wondering why you replaced the bridge and tailpiece? (At least that's what it looked like, to me)
