I like how they planted Varchie seeds the previous scene and her breakup with Chad but simultaneously are planting seeds of Barchie’s friends with benefits and their growing feelings for each other. I think they’re gonna keep Jughead doing his own thing with Tabitha this year but it looks like they’re really trying to create some love triangle drama and anticipation with Varchie and Barchie.
I think they're gonna have Varchie get closer again (since she's sponsoring the footbal team, they will be talking a lot) but then Glen will show up in Riverdale and keep pursuing Betty. Since they agreed to be just friends with benefits, they're gonna get jealous of seeing each other with their exes, but won't be able to say anything about it because they're not exclusive, which will lead to conflict and fights until one of them inevitably blurts out they want something serious. It's the perfect setting for a fwb to lovers story
Archie is in love with betty, he will always care for veronica but betty is the one for him....and when betty kissed him goodbye, I feel like he wanted to say something like stay. Archie is falling deeply in love with betty cooper. I do hope the writers to give veronica and jughead some one on one scenes together even if its just as friends I wanna see them hangingout. #BarchieSeason5RainKiss #Choni #Vughead
@@juliag6126 Spot on. I doubt we'll see varchie in a relationship again but they'll definitely be used to push barchie apart and then bring them back together. This season keeps paralleling things from the pilot and the first season but with a different outcome. Archie will choose Betty and Betty will learn to trust that her feelings for Archie are real and not just a "fantasy".
