@Goaxteditz thought I don’t think they would do that cuz they now know that all riverdale has left is barchie... there would be no one watching it at all if they are gone
tbh, I was expecting them to throw in some Veronica drama, and probably some Jughead drama down the road, into the Barchie, and it's realistic, imo, that they would have to deal with the respective past relationships at some point and I'm actually glad they decided to do it, at least with Archie and Veronica, right away. While it can go any which way, I, of course am hoping that the drama with their past relationships will lead to great heart to hearts between Betty and Archie and Barchie love confessions and choosing each other over Veronica/Jughead, all that good stuff. :-D eta: also, I'm honestly also lowkey waiting for the show to finally do something with Veronica and Jughead, explore their relationship more in some way, I think that would be interesting and imo, they're more compatible than one might think at first glance.
@Goaxteditz oh definitely, the show is going the Jughead and Tabitha way right now, I 100% agree, as well as Veronica and Chad breaking up to allow the show to have Archie choose Betty over Veronica. Again which given their history will have to happen at some point for Betty to fully trust what they have and stop keeping Archie at arm's length. Some Veronica and Jughead while as stated I would love, I agree doesn't seem in the cards right now, but who knows, maybe down the line and if only another team up or an exploration of their friendship.

And don't worry too much about Veronica's and Archie's looks, Archie's in the beginning were very favorable towards Betty and Archie,IMO and the ones later on, while of course yes, it's to be expected that there would be some residual feelings the show has to deal with given how things ended between them, IMO, they were also very circumstantial. And especially when Archie went to Veronica to ask for help, IMO, the weirdness only started when Chad was being his Hiram-like self. Hope some of this early morning reasoning helps, and I want to rewatch the episode today, and was planning to pay extra attention to the Archie and Veronica of it all, so I will probably have more to say about that then. :-) if you have twitter or insta, i'm more than happy to talk about everything and anything Riverdale, especially Barchie of course, in depth. Ok I sort of have a theory, so Jughead is investigating the Moth Man, Betty is investigating her sister's death, Polly was probably taken by the Moth Man, so Betty and Jughead team up, bringing back old feelings. Veronica split up with her hubby and wants to start a buisness, Archie wants to save Riverdale, and Veronica has money and loathes her dad and Reggie, so they team up, bringing back old feelings.
