I’m 33 and I grew up with guys, I’m the only girl and I was in the military for 5 years. I never knew that being feminine is powerful since masculine traits are praised and seems dominant in society. I’m now on the journey of becoming more feminine and I’m excited for 2021!!

@@drmichelledaf God sent me you. I'm reading a book by Dr. Patricia Allen entitled "Getting to I Do,". It talks about how women and men have a masculine and feminine side. Not in a homosexual type of thing, but how God is El Shaddai...the breasted one who nuroushes.
It teaches how as women we have a masculine and feminine side and a lot of times because of our upbringing we lean more towards that masculine side.
I always wanted to have the feminine side, but I tend to meet guys that either are not the masculine side. There are times I have tried to prove that I am good wife material, which makes me sometimes have a little more masculine side when all I'm trying to do is show the man that I make a good wife. This was in my early teens, twenties and early thirties.
I am 57 years young and I'm just learning this. But my ultimate goal Dr. Michelle is I want to get my softest back of being that female, feminine.
This may be why my son and I have issues. In my divorce, I had to take on the role of being both the mother and father. And sometimes I may come off a little too masculine with my son not acting like a dude, but just trying to step into the shoes of being a father.
I am so grateful for this video because I know in my heart God has led me to you. How can I connect with you more?

I'm going to be honest about this.
When I was married, I took on alot of roles at the house together. I worked, cooked, and cleaned when I could.
It is not normal for a woman to be cooking and cleaning and working 40 hours per week.
      You lose your femininity.
Men are the providers and if.a woman wants her own side business, cool, but a wife shouldn't be forced to work fulltime and pay bills. I had to be masculine because he didn't give me that space to be feminine and soft.
Now.fast forward now a divorced mother of three children, It's very difficult to be soft with kids running around in the store, jumping.off of things, and just acting up.
Which One would I pick? Single mother for sure over a man who is.not.pulling his weight, but I would rather be married to a husband and just take care of my children and have a side business. That's one of the reasons why I will get remarried, as long as he gives me that space to be feminine and soft.

I need this. As a child, my father raised me to be more masculine than feminine. He was harsh and cold and still is. So I grew up learning that things like being soft and vulnerable was weak and it was something I needed to avoid. I despised love and love songs, being clingy etc. But now I will just let myself be and embrace the feminine side of me. I'm only 25, so it's not too late to try stepping into my feminine energy.

Sorry you had such negative experiences :-(
Here are a few tips to help encourage your process:
      1. Start small!
Invest in little things that help you "look" more feminine according to your own standards.
Eg. a cute pair of earrings you like, a nice manicure (acrylics perhaps?), eyelash extensions! They instantly enhance everyone's beauty!
      2. Do things that help you "feel" more grounded in your body and maybe even a bit sexy.
Eg. Wear a soft, sexy perfume! Or buy a nice silky satin blouse that glides across your skin. Do a bubble bath, or light some scented candles and just relax your body and mind in a nice, clean, dimly lit room. Take a long shower and treat your body to a luxury cream! Put on some calm, healing music while you're at it.
      3. Listen to subliminal affirmations that help instill these messages in your mind! "I am beautiful, I am happy" etc.
      4. Surround yourself with beauty. The outward beauty will help with the inward beauty. Buy a few fake green plants. Make your space minimalist. Keep things simple.
It's all about unlearning our old habits that keep us stuck, and replacing these habits with new, better habits that serve our femininity and our highest good. We deserve to be happy!
Hope these tips help! They helped me step out of my masculinity, and sometimes I come back to these videos because I need reminding.
Stay strong ladies! We are all beautiful :-)

Just a lot of lack of self-care and broken spirit and being harsh with my loved ones. I realized that I need to work on self care with appearance, hobbies, and prayer. I’ve been going to Zumba, racket ball at the gym with my husband, I joined a pottery class that I attend on my own for some me time. And I have been meditating, listening to gospel music, and practicing gratitude towards my savior Jesus. These changes happened as of two weeks ago, but I’m feeling a lot better already . Wow, thank you. This is a blessing. I thought that being feminine meant being submissive and I practiced my masculine side more because I don't want to be walked all over. But I'm getting tired of "being the man" and it takes so much energy to be petty needing to be right about everything, and constantly defending myself, trying to control how people see me. I had a real gender identity crisis in adolescence that led to a full-blown breakdown. Boys were not attracted to me, but I had no clue as to why. Instead, girls kept coming on to me. I never felt "feminine" and your explanations of how people see femininity have really helped me. One day a girlfriend of mine said, "You know, it's okay to wear ruffles." She did a big help to me just by saying that. I've been married a couple of times but got treated like a meal ticket, not a woman. I have watched this video a million times. So helpful. I used to be so feminine but life and people took advantage and so I trained myself to be abrasive. Now, I just want to be my feminine self because that is who God made me and I love being me. Dr. Michelle you are truly a blessing. You basically put a mirror before me with this video and now it is time to confront myself and adjust!

Wow. Such a different message from what is out there today. I'm learning to cut through what I've been trained to think and tap into who God created me to be...for my future husband, children, and happiness. Thank you!

I always click the thumb up before really getting into it. I trust the content will enrich me, & it only ever does. I’m 25yo, & finally began specifically studying femininity just earlier this crazy year. my attitude & appearance both have lots of positive change (already beginning, but) definitely on the way. Thank you so much, Dr. Michelle!

Dr. Michelle, I have just recently found your channel and over the course of two days I have watched so many of your videos. I have only been married for 3 years and it has already entered into turmoil and as I watched your videos I realize I have so many of those negative qualities that you spoke on. I grew up with a single mom who has preached to me to be independent and not ever need a man, I grew up around males and females who were tomboys, I entered the military and worked in industries that were male dominant so everything about my femininity has been broken. Of course this now transfers to my marriage, and believe me I do not want to continue on this masculine journey, I want to become that feminine woman I once was. I am so happy to have found your channel and I am slowly making the necessary adjustments. Thank you so much and god bless.

Best wishes to you. As a married woman, indeed it is highly important to let the man lead. For me I was struggling with letting him buy me stuff. I was single for a long time before getting married. So I was familiar with buying stuff for myself!! If he said he would buy me something, I would buy it before him. When he saw that I purchased it , he would become very upset

Thank you so much, you are Godsent... it's very relieving to hear someone talk about what you are going through, it reminds you that even though you're are through a season of misery that's normal and can be overcame... I'm glad today to know that being soft and feminine doesn't mean you are weak but rather that you know who you are and acknowledge your significance and purpose according to God's will...thank you, stay blessed.

I thank GOD for you. I alway felt different about how I was within my family unit. I was told stop thinking you’re better than us; you’re a Jones; why are you acting like you’re different from us; and who do you think you are. I am now a senior citizen. All the things I wanted to do to me long ago is becoming a transformation into what I wanted to be like. I am encouraged, after listening to you.

When you spoke about friendships, I recently had to end a friendship group with some ladies I've known since middle school and high school, over 40 years of friendship. It was extremely difficult, but very necessary. I recognized that I am in a different place and space, and protecting my peace. I can't handle the constant disrespect, the toxicity or lack of boundaries. I have had enough.
