Amazing!!! I was looking for someone customizing the RK100! Do you know if there’s any wooden cases that might fit this? I’m having a hard time finding cases for 96% keyboards
So for the actual keycap itself, here are the following sizes: Left shift = 2.25u Right Shift = 1.75u Space bar = 6.25u Backspace = 2u Hope this helps!
I would double check the wire and make sure it's tuned; the other words to make sure it's straight with no side being raised than the other! Another tip that I'm going to try is to add some poron gasket strips (very small ones) at the contact point of the stabilizer wire and the PCB - gonna make a short vid on that soon!
@@IamShi1i I mean I personally have never tried moisturizing cream.. and I’d advise against it because one it heats up it’ll become more viscous and/or dry up on your stabs and make them stiff. I would apply some sort of grease yes
I personally like the RK100 better in terms of functionality and mod-ability (if that's a word)! The Akko 3098B which I built a while back was a bit hard to open in terms of the case but the value that you get with the keycaps and switches; I'd say the best bang for your buck is the Akko 3098. Moreover, I do prefer being able to mod and open the board easier; hence the RK100 being more favorable to me :)
@@rzlerios not sure if it was the batch of keycaps I received - but they were definitely cherry, any interference I would use the paper mod which I’ll make a video about
I think the regular Rk100 has a lot of modding capabilities and the sound difference is much more prominent - however, the RK100 pro has a nice metal case to it and makes it feel a bit more premium
sounds amazing!
Thank you! Probably one of my favorite sounding boards to date!
Yessir hes back!
Reversal always got my back 😤
Nice video. Very satisfying
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looking forward to it
How did you like it?!
Yep but would have been better if you had done a voiceover though
@@wowatech2856 I'll be using my voice soon in future videos for sure, thanks for the feedback!

I know there’s the YMDK96/Melody96 wooden case!
what is that typing screen at the end? is it from a website where can i try?
It’s typings.gg!
What's the size of the keycaps needed for RK100? Like, the "Shift", "Spacebar", and "Backspace" key?
So for the actual keycap itself, here are the following sizes:
Left shift = 2.25u
Right Shift = 1.75u
Space bar = 6.25u

Did you put case foam?
For this one I don’t believe I did!
Thanks for replying!
do u have any lubing tips on stabilizers to stop rattle? My keyboard is also the rk100 I clipped the stabs and lubed them but they still rattle

@@jepsei Oh thank you but does adding dielectric grease really stop rattle? cuz im using moisturizing cream as lube and it didn't work

How is this one compared to akko 3098b?

Great video! Did you cut the PE foam where the stabilizers / wires are, or is it not necessary for plate mounted stabs?
I did! For both plate mount and PCB mount (screw-in) I would cut out those holes! Just so there is no interference or any hassle to you
are these oem profile caps ?
Actually these are cherry profile key caps!
@@jepsei no interference with north facing leds?

Should I get rk100 or rk100 pro?

@@jepsei ahhh I see. I have a rk84 and I really really like it but I miss my number keys so bad haha so wanna get rk100
