My father had a 240z. My uncle had a 280z and a 300z. I’ve always love the Z cars and Nissan has never disappointed me with that particular car
Now they are trash
Big up to NISSAN for making a sick manual sports car in 2022!!
You do a great job at reviewing cars brotha! It's refreshing to see a new guy do it so well. By new I mean not the typical car review guys everyone knows.
Glad you enjoyed the video - thanks for the support!
Never had an OG Z, so there would be no nostalgia for me. That being said, there is basically nothing I love more than driving so I’m always on the lookout for fun to drive vehicles.
@Noah I feel like you have a story to tell about that, lol.
@@th3Kun Do you have time to listen to the stories of a BMW driver on that topic ? ( lol )
I'm so accustomed to seeing 350 and 370s with bodykits, wheels and brake upgrades that the new one just looks so plain. Can't wait to see what the aftermarket has in store as people begin to customize these and make them look more unique.
I thought I was the only one...lol
I agree 💯% it’s about as bland as plain oatmeal 🤢 I miss my 2004 350z 😭
My 370z nismo sounds like one those Zs you're talking about.
I'm waiting to see this new Z's Nismo edition.
No this new Z looks way better, it takes styling from the 240, not the 350 and 370s from the second dark age of cars
Go back to 1:44 look at the beauty and how fit it is, the angle of the roof inlaid with a samurai sword, hexagonal hoodie like a jewel
sweet bro!! good work per the usual!! you went so fast! I don't want to give mine back this week. they pick my passion red one up tuesday.
Jelly you had one for a week!
This was a really good review. As someone whose sold cars for a while too; you did great. Nice video! I just got to see all 3 trims of the new z; lookin foward to the experience of driving it
I’m getting one if it ever comes to the uk - I’m categorising it as a ‘budget 911’ car. -plenty of lineage and history, sports car, years of perfecting the formula, subjectively cool design and plenty modern for reliability and modern comforts
Yeah and for the price it has very good power. Many older porches has less than this. Too bad it isn't coming to europe.
These are absolutely stunning, plenty of throwback to the past Z legends in a modern and sexy package. Nissan is killing it!
Been in love with the z series for ever. This is definitely a dream car for me
Have to say I really love the way you filmed, especially the initial walk-around. Always kept the interesting portions front and center, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for posting the Nissan Z video.
Nissan really did a great job. As high performance as possible and as cheap as possible.
The design is also a great homage to the S30 design.
I want to thank Nissan for this.
Glad you liked it!
This car looks freaking AMAZING! I love the classic look with the new age upgrade
Simply the best review of this car I have come across. I once got caught up in the hype of a manual gearbox and paid the price in heavy daily traffic. Your honesty is appreciated.
Thank you!! Easily in my Top 5 fave reviews of the vehicle so far!!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Your review was a 10/10, definitely gonna subscribe!
My very first z was a z32 twin turbo had the 90 and 1991 model. Loved it my 1991 had over 400hp and stock z32 TT also came with a recirculating valve but I switch mine to a HKS SSQV. I still remember my mods had twin popchargers from JWT, nismo 555cc injectors, JWT eprom chip, Z1 driveshaft, Hicas removal kit, custom top speed exhaust, MBC, and stillen intercoolers. I still think the z32 is one of the best Z out there. I’ve owned three 350z (de) and a couple of g37 coupes and sedan as well as the q50 (vhr) I love my q60rs400 now and can’t wait to get my hands on the new Z. With these inflations and stuff I will rather wait.
The area where you drive in is so awesome for going quick!!
I was really waiting for you to post a review about this car man. Your car reviews are the best. I might buy this Nissan Z but it’s too expensive with the mark up. It was about time for the the Supra to go. But the red sport and the blue sport Z are the best colors for the new Z
Glad to be able to deliver!
Oh! Also, Hagerty was able to get a 4.2 0-60 out of the manual Z on drag conditions. The car has plenty of potential and I think I'm going to work hard to pay down my current loan to get this car. I need it.
It’s finally here!!!
best car review i've ever seen. I'm totally gonna get the 2023 Z manual transmission.
I do love Nissan V6 specific roaring sound !! 09:20
That sound is an opera of ecstasy! Thank you!
Superb POV on 2023 Nissan Z. When I was young, I remember my boss driving a 280 ZX which I thought was a rad car.
Still is a rad car! The Z has some amazing history
Dude I think I saw u driving this on the free way ! I was surprised to see one of these things so definitely caught my eye
Let's appreciate how he just has the best POV videos ever 💕💕❤️
Thank you for your support!
@@MilesPerHr your welcome
The hood is pure 240Z, love it
You kind of start to love the grill after a while. More when you start to think about how much Nissan worked hard for this, coming back to their rich history especially in a time where gasoline cars are about to be replaced.
You shouldn’t have to start to love anything. And history or how hard they worked don’t make something beautiful. A good looking car should look good at first glance. This is a 6/10 for me.
That red is something else! Nice!
Great review, thanks much.
My pleasure!
Great review my guy👍🏾
Glad you enjoyed it!
New to your channel, love the well explained and deep review in the video 👍💪
Welcome! Thanks for the feedback 🙏
What hits me is how much the doors look like a 90s car from the inside, especially the knobs
really like which ones?
Just discovered the channel - great stuff.
Welcome aboard!
Miles the type of guy to say the truth while driving a press car. Nice Job!
What an amazing car and the review is great!👌
Thank you! 👍
I love how there is a navigation screen in between the gauge cluster.
Great driving man !
Great review. Alot of detail here missing fromany other reviews. Well prepped too.
300zx and this are my favs from Z family
own a 280z and I can say that the interior and feel of the new Z looks very reminiscent, but if I were to ever own one I think I would try to mod the headlights to look a bit more like the classic round ones
This is very nice. Really cool retro look
I have the Infiniti QX50 and it’s the old engine (2017) I absolutely love it! This was an excellent review! Thank you! Now I’m torn between the Q60 red sport and this new Z
🏎🏎🏎💨💨
@17:55
Not unusual. The 7 speed from the Q60 was also in the Titan. But the 9 speed was tuned for the Z of course.
Their dastun front headlights are so similar. In the advertisement where it goes through the years it looks so similar and amazing
The lines are so clean it actually looks like Gran Turismo graphics at the beginning of the vid.
almost bought a g35 coupe a while back, never could like the 350/70's looks but I would love one of these in black
Love the styling. Really looks like the originals.
I love the square grill and throwback rear end lights design!
more so the tail
The car looks stunning
This is my fifth video i have seen of the Z. You are 2nd in place right behind hagerty. On which video give us the best review. Nice
I'll take 2nd behind Camisa and Hagerty! 😃
Great video review of the new Z. Really gave a good feel for what the car is like. I'm impressed with it, but I still think the Supra just looks better and seems higher-end, as is reflected in the price. And as you said, the Supra is underrated from a power standpoint, and overall seems to perform a little better than the Z. I think I'd likely lean toward the Supra.
Nissan Z's are meant to be cheap sports cars to modify, the new Supra isn't meant to be tinkered with
Those other Z's must have been so excited to see you drive by lol I would have turned around and followed you
I'm a 2-time VQ owner. If my assumption is correct, then the new Z also has the same TSC setup as the G37/370Z. You CAN turn TSC off, but there's a kind of "hidden" yaw sensor control hidden in the console (easily bypassed).
I love the interior of this car. Overall the car is really nice. Already boosted from the factory. Hopefully I can get 1 someday.
Can’t wait for the 240z front end conversation 😮💨
Im really hoping some companies make 240z inspired cosmetics for this car. Front bumper, ZG flares, fender mirrors, etc.
that thing is so good looking man
Nissan still at the rare of the pack when it comes to a Good infotainment unit. They really need to up there game
Most modern cars that have a 'Traction off' feature usually have a hidden function to completely turn it off: In most cars you usually have to simply hold down the Traction off button for about 8 seconds and it should show something regarding "Advanced traction off" on the display cluster. If that is not the way to do it, a simple google search should do it or even looking in the car's manual.
I love the Datsun design nods at the front
Had to sell my 2019 WRX STI, for my apprenticeship and now I know what I'll be getting ones I start making the big bucks.
They road looks so much fun to drive
First car that's made me consider leaving my 996, want to test drive one. Manual Supra maybe but has visibility and wind buffeting problems. Not into 4cyl miata or 86, but really respect both.
The wind buffeting is a easy fix tho and rhe supra has better interior and i feel like better engine and transmission
looks fun!
It was fun!
wonderful video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Been a while since Nissan made a truly gorgeous car. They nailed it with this!
Gorgeous?? 😄
It looks awful.
“Been a while” is crazy 😂
It also has resemblance to the Nissan Altima too! Them window and side mirror buttons really don’t age
that looks good in red
the back is hella sick not gonna lie
Launch control worked well
Enjoy your nice car and drive. Have a nice day.
Thanks! You too.
Welcome to Nissan Z Party Miles
Cool!
This is the car I want
Design is very clean and classy no fake vents or very agressive tuning-look bumpers
Ride height from profile seems a bit high and wheels need ~5mm spacers for the perfect look
Love the interior there is everything you need its modern
Sound is pretty quiet stock
Rear view it’s amazing , just like the Kia stinger 🙏🏼👍🏼 just looks amazing
My favorite angle for sure
@@MilesPerHr my man 😂😎. sure it’s a man favorite angle
Great video man. But, I can tell you're the guy who rests his hand on the shifter. :)
Yeah not smart to rest your hands on the shifter. I used to do that until I learned why I shouldn’t.
I can't believe they kept that key fob. I have been putting up with that thing for 10 years and counting, COME ON
cant wait for this car...however that keyfob needs to join the 21st century
I see z I click like. Daily driving a manual isn't that bad. I used to drive mine in traffic every day and it never bothered me, but I'm not whiny :p
The ADM on the performance model will drive would-be early adopters towards other models.
Awesome car
Backend look is a-mazing but i can't say this for the front
Agreed the front look so trash. Back looks gorgeous
13:19 when gta start adding the same car you found , everywhere lol
Sensational car
Man if I wasn’t from New England I would love one of these but only being able to drive it 1/3 the year kinda sucks.. I’ve had multiple cars before 4 at a time onxe and it was a pain lol
The insane looks super cool
Tempting indeed - Though I don't like the roof and hatch only in black for all colors - hmmm? - Also I would also prefer a tan leather interior combo instead of only blue or red. As a 350 touring driver (black, 6sp. with Burnt Orange leather trim) I would only opt for a Z in black - I'll wait for a diff. interior color combo - poss. in 024??
Manual selector 👏
4:33
It does have wireless charging. Another review showed it working. Might be the performance version but they did show it working ...
Only thing I would say it needs ambient lighting that would just top it off
Since the gauges are digital anyway, it would be cool if you could get the ones out of the S30. Need more software customization.
Thanks 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍👍👍👍😘
No problem 👍
Tbh Im impressed
Looks cool. I wish I could drive there as well, even if it's just with my simple honda es.. :(
nice to see some company still makes cars for car guys
This new Z and the Infiniti Red Sport 400 are literally apples to apples comparison. They are both brothers.
I would also say YES the 50K is totally worth it for the 400 horses, given you'll pay 20-30K more in the Infiniti for the same amount of power
It’s the same backup camera introduced around 2007, they haven’t updated it in 15 years
imagine nissan will remake nissan gtr hakosuka like this with manual stick shift.. retro modern style
