If you were infamous and living rough you’d surely go live in another town somewhere you’re not known and not under threat

I knew Frank Heppy Hepworth very well he was big mates with my grandad, my grandad somehow ended up with 1 of Heppys cars , Grandads green Chrysler matra Rancho had a light on the roof saying Heppys night spot, it was very similar to an orange taxi light. Heppy sold the nightclub to Raymond Gomersal who is also a friend of the family and he turned it into Bourbon Street unfortunately he's in a care home with Alzheimer's .

It’s probably negative talk about him all coming from or spread by his enemies or people who wouldn’t stand up to him in life - it’s good War Cry is making these public

I know it’s difficult for you Jamie to have to re-visit this story of Mr Sykes and I know learning about him touched your heart as you’ve explained in videos posted a couple years ago when on the topic of Sykes, especially all the bloody hard work you’ve slogged into this and squeezed every bit of info out of it as possible. I myself have been very interested in this man and upon starting my fascination with this guy became hooked. Now to see you doing a walk around lifts that feeling of becoming glued to the story. these walk around talks and sites of once the famous Sykes is truly interesting and we applaud you for your delivery on this. Please for us viewers take your time and get as much sites/places done as possible. We know you’re a busy man but after all the effort through the books we were shouting out for this. I live in Sheffield so not far at all for me and been meaning to get up and look about for myself but to now have an idea of what to look out for is brilliant. Thank you again.

I remember going to the magistrates court as a young teen for scrapping with a gang from Chickenly. Ossett vs Chickenly... It was always a thing.
