Short ride video to discuss the ride and seating position/comfort/room when riding with a pillion with the OEM top box installed.
(Sorry about the wind noise... need better tech!)

Sorry about the music volume... it seemed like it was turned way down in the editor... but is much louder in the finished video. I will do better next time!
Thats some beautiful luggage. I am having the the Center stand fitted too. It's a must have for me.
plan is to ride with my wife so great vid thanks
I have the exact same bike as you. Also the same side cases as Topbox and I am very satisfied with it. A pleasure to drive. I wish you many more safe kilometers (miles). Greetings from Belgium ✌
Thanks! Safe riding!
i love your videos thank you for sharing
Glad you like them!
Enjoy and ride safe!
I have the same gloves, they're great 😅
They are decent gloves... especially for the price. I find they have stretched quite a bit and are now too loose.
Where did you order your bags from and do you have the parts numbers?
Bags are Honda factory accessories. Can order directly from your Honda dealer or perhaps online. Their website has all the part numbers listed out.
Thanks for posting this. 👍🏼
How would you and your wife describe the seat comfort?
Do you find there if there is much engine vibration through the foot pegs?
I’m debating trading my Triumph Tiger 1200 RE for the ATAS.
Thanks.
No vibration... some low end rumbling from the twin at low rpm when accelerating... but I suppose this is character. Not offensive at all. Highway speeds are perfect. Seats are ok for 2 hours... after that my butt gets sore. I am looking at options for the seat.

Cool thanks so much for the feedback. I’m looking at the DCT and lower front end of the ATAS. The Triumph is fun and the engine is intoxicating, but there is a lot of vibe into the foot pegs.
@Chromatrix1 I looked at the Triumph but it was much more expensive here in Ontario
I'm 6'2" 245lbs and my wife is 5'3" 125lbs, can it be safe to assume that there is ample or at least adequate room for us to ride two up?
Is that Highway 2 you are riding on? It looks very familiar to me, having spent a fair bit of time in the Bay of Quinte area some years ago.
Yes, I would assume you both would be fine. You are taller than me, but I am 'rounder'... should be a-OK. Not hwy 2.....
@@coolhandchunk Thanks
why the screen flashing like that ???
It's not really... it's something to do with the refresh frequencies between the camera and the screen.
how tall are you and what is your inseam? thanks
5'-9" or 175cm with short-ass legs... I wear pants with 28" or 30" inseam.
Good evening from Greece, thanks for the video. How tall is your wife?
She is about 5'-1" or 155cm plus boots.
@@coolhandchunk so with this height, the contact of her foot with the side bags does not bother her during the trip?
@@The938Nikos she noticed the contact when first getting on the bike and for the first couple kms. But after a 2 hr ride, she said she had no pain or discomfort and didn't consider it bothersome. And the 2 hr ride we went on was a nice blend of lots of twisty roads, bumpy tarmac and highways. Not a big concern afterall. But, everyone is different... and it may affect a person with even shorter legs.
Your speedo is in KPH or MPH? I saw you hit 100.
Km
@@coolhandchunk thank god!
Haha
wanna be your neighbour ahahah which town is this?
What's wrong with the screen? Seems annoying almost like it's broke.
It's the frequency or refresh rate of the screen vs. the camera. It is not broken... it is a common thing when trying to video a TV or digital screen.
@@coolhandchunk ok
Nice ride tho
Ques:
No center stand, heated seat/ self cancel turn sig?
@@jackk1583 center stand is an option. I have installed one. No heated seat (not from Honda anyways). Yes, bike has self-cancelling turn signals.... See my other videos as well... I have one discussing the control screens and settings in particular.
@@coolhandchunkadaptive radar cruise control?
