That is an amazing feature. However, it may not be adequate when using the zoom feature for certain applications, like for this. The last photo of the top of the lamp post is off about 1-2 feet, enough that it would effect the data collection. I would love to see how RTK would affect this flight mode. I would not use this without using the DRTK-2 or the position of the repeat flight route could be off by several feet. Was this flight done using RTK? Have you tested the accuracy both with and without RTK?
@@CANDRONE well it’s a great application for the most part, and I didn’t even know it was in the DJI Pilot app! I’ve looked for it before but didn’t realize it was under the waypoint tab so great video! This flight mode should really be an icon on its own in the main menu!

We did not use the RTK for this video, but you are right DJI does recommend using the RTK to increase the positioning accuracy of your data

Drone seems to bob up and down quite a bit. Normal for this drone or just because you were zoomed in?
Its due to the high-zoom, the drone is very stable even in heavy winds
Can the waypoints be recorded while using RTK so it’s more accurate? Could you do comparison between normal gps and RTK of same exact waypoints?
Yes, it is highly recommended to use the D-RTK when usings this feature.
Do you have to wear the dumb vest to do this?
Added visibility while flying enhances overall safety. Check your areas flying regulations to determine if a high visibility clothing is necessary.
Can the M30T transmit live images (livestream) to the office while flying?
Yes, the m30T does have this functionality.
