2 years ago i watched this video and was inspired to go on my own debt free journey... I got into debt because of a loved one's medical needs and eventually funeral, now i came back to say thank you and screaming all the way from the philippines...i am debt free!!!

The "idiots" who realize that the math of living on a $16k annual income doesn't even in totality add up to cover the $60k in debt... how do you pay of $60k of interest-accumulating debt when at max you made $30k in that time period? They aren't disclosing everything that worked to her advantage.
She probably has social security for the kids. Please don't spoil this story for the rest of us. This lady is so young to be a widow. God bless her! She has a heavy load.
@@GreenspudTrades if you watched the video you'd see that her income was $50K. They "lived" on $16K through many sacrifices, so that the remaining $34K of her income all went to debt. Not calling you an idiot but you are certainly mistaken

These video's really do help keep me motivated. This is my go to video when I feel like I want to give up on the program. It will be worth the sacrifices me and my family make. :)

Gotta ask yourself what they're _not_ saying. $16k income, paid off $60k in debt in a little under 2 years. Plus debt accumulates interest. The math does not add up. Where did she get help?
Greenspud Trades - Her yearly salary is 50k but they lived off 16K. The numbers add up to pay off 60k in debt in 22 months.
I listened to this on the radio earlier today. But, to watch it...has brought tears to my eyes. This was such a touching and inspiring debt free story. God continue to give her/them the grace to make each day without her husband/their father.
I did actually cry when I heard this. God is good. Nothing is impossible.
She's a great woman and she can do anything I'm. Sure her husband is watching a heaven for her and her family.

I just finished my bachelor of science in nursing... and after watching this, my goal is to pay off my student loans and line of credit ASAP!!!!!!! Ugh
Congrats! Just a tip, there are some companies (hospital) who will help you pay it off. Take a look into benefit packages when searching for a job. Some people don't even know that certain jobs will pay your tuition to return to school. Many blessings. I hope you can pay them off quickly.
Thank you! I live in Canada.. And know that rural hospitals have some cash incentives/grants when relocating (around 4-6k) for a year of service. Which is nice!

HOLY SMOKES! I never comment on videos, but this video seriously brought tears to my eyes! I couldn't believe how much her story moved me. I'm grappling with the idea of going back to school (2 years left for a BA), while being engaged, looking for an apartment for me and my fiance, AND trying to remain debt free....all while living in NYC on a low income. It's so mentally stressful at times. You just want to give up on the idea of school (which makes you give up on the idea of making more money), or a wedding and just going to city hall, etc. But I know we'll figure something out. I'm 29 and I know that we just have to make wise decisions. Cinthya's story just shows me how we just need to push and we'll be able to make it.

I'm in tears the whole time I'm watching this. I really felt this one deeply my father died of brain cancer when i was 8 years old. My mother raised me and my two siblings by herself with help from family. I'm 46 years old now. What an Inspiration their story is. There's really no excuse not to win in life or be debt free. God bless them always. I would like to thank Dave. He's my father I never had growing up. Thanks Dave for all you do and your team.

No doubt it was difficult being that age and dealing with people at school having everything she couldn’t have but now she is just ages older in wisdom.

I love Dave being speechless at his desk! He must have been floating up on cloud nine unable to feel the ground for a week or two after they came through his studio!!!! I hope she is happily remarried in God's time - she and those kids would be such a blessing to another good man (her husband being the first, but I imagine this woman's dad and father-in-law are also in that category) - maybe these 3 great kids will have half siblings one day - what a blessing they would be to those younger half-siblings!!

I think term life insurance is so important for young couples especially if they have huge debt load and doubly if they have kids. A guy like that could easily have gotten a really cheap term life insurance policy at 28 provided he passed the medical exam.
Veerendra Jadhav how do you know he did not have this? If he did she was smart enough to NOT apply it to debt! See what i mean?

I’ve watched this many times over the last couple of years and it brings tears to my eyes every time. What a powerful legacy this beautiful, strong and courageous mother is leaving for her children. Dennis was an absolute stud of a husband and father with his strength and leadership. I pray for God’s blessings to continue to rain down on this family and upon Dave’s ministry. God is good indeed!

Just the way she talks about her husband is pure love. This is truly an epitome of what Dave says that you cannot win this battle without your spouse (if you are married). Even though her husband is already gone, he still motivates her and now look where she and their kids are. It's amazing amazing! This is my most favorite debt free scream yet! This is actually the first time I saw Dave actually cried and hugged the person and actually gave something to the family besides Chris Hogan's book.

This God fearing woman needs a the support of the body of Christ. Taking care of the widows is something that we are not doing as a church. Bless her heart, God gave her a sweet and committed spirit to care and provide for her family.
