Regarding the leather jacket thing, it should be noted that the jacket was Frank's. So he was the one who Greg had to get permission from, not her. Not to mention that, as you brought up, she didn't bring a winter coat for him, and it's implied that she didn't even think about the weather until Greg brought it up.

And to think that these books are actually based on true events which they are then imagine what Jeff Kinney went through even though he’s probably writing the characters as comedic as possible this still could’ve happened to him at some point with his mom wherever he goes with his mom
You also forgot how in the big shot, she LIED to Greg about being her, “secret weapon” and traded her own son on the other team in hopes of winning the game for her team.
There was also that time in the long haul when Susan sold Frank's boat without permission, but she got mad when Frank bought a car by himself and she forced him to get a new one "for the family"
all of her karening: blames greg for ploopy the book having no innapropiate when she says its innapropiate takes pictures of other kids screamed in frank's face that his job is worthless never allowed greg to have franks coat even if frank gave him permission told everyone what to do in book 16 forced greg to change teams then hated on him(spoiler warning but he won) complained about cd hates greg too much(she didnt know she was talking trash about greg in front of greg) doeant let frank buy something forced kids to not used electronics lets rodrick to do bad stuff yes beckys are better
Susan: HOW DARE YOU BUY THAT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Also Susan: I'm spending your aunt's money on a bigger kitchen. She also ruins her kid's choices at something good. Like in Rodrick Rules when she filmed with commentary and when someone else recorded but she started dancing. She also loves Manny and doesn't take a second to think about Rodrick and Greg.
Also she is a huge hipocrite getting mad about them leaving her because Greg has said that she has forgotten about him at like stores and stuff like 5 times
There was also the time in book 7: 'the third wheel' where Greg said that when he was younger he was bullied by a kid named Bradley but a while later Bradley's family moved away so Susan wrote a book named 'Bad Bradley' which is about how you should behave in school with the main character being Bradley and not only did she write a book about some random kid without his permission but she was also literally going to publish it but Bradley's family moved back so she didn't.
Its also when there on the trip and Greg and Rodrick are at home and Rodrick throws a big party. Meanwhile Greg gets stuck in the freaking basement for how long?and Greg also gets blamed for being locked in the basement for a long time I seriously don't get it if it happened to Manny, well she would be super mad.
She put a predator in with it’s prey instead of cleaning it’s habitat. I own fish, too. The most aggressive thing I ever had was probably a angelfish that picked on a smaller one, but after a day they became ‘friends’ and lived in harmony.
I disagree with you about the leather jacket, because Greg's dad (the owner of the jacket) said he didn't mind Greg wearing it, so her complaints that it was valuable hold no water
THE DANCING. THE MFING DANCING. No Heffely can do squat music related without Susan jumping in to be a background dancer. I think he she had to be forcefully removed from on of her kids events because she was getting in the way.
I wish there was a fanfic where Frank divorces Susan and gets full custody of the house and children and Susan ends up on the street and learns she cannot take control of people who provides for her
Karen pisses me off so much in the series, I'd hate to think what would happen if Greg had been born a girl but still loved what he does as a boy. Lord it would be like one of my family dinners and 'CARRIE' 🩸🩸🩸🩸
Not gonna lie, the heavy metal video game mixup was understandable to complain about. However, the fact that she complained that it was “inappropriate” was utterly ridiculous.
She also FORCED the whole town to go electricity free for a weekend, but during that weekend, SHE USED AN ELECTRONIC TO TRACK HER SON, even though she wanted the town to go electricity free.
Oh and don’t forget when Rodrick got (rightfully) upset that she ruined their talent show video with her dancing, and she responds by saying “if you don’t want people to dance, don’t play music”. Gaslight gatekeep girlboss!
Let's not forget that she chewed out the manager in book ten just cuz rodrick got trash duty. He was a new employee and had to start at the basic and this women wants him to be advanced. Typical karen
Not to mention she always wanted the whole family to see Roderick work and she always be missing Roderick around since he had himself a job and she gave manny a birthday party at Roderick’s job even though it’s not manny’s birthday like come on Roderick is becoming a man on having a job sometimes he needs to be left alone 🤷🏾♂️
She lies about her family, writes fake stories about how "ideal" the family is even thou everyone is flawed (especially her), lies and manipulates everyone, spoils Manny who knows he can keep getting away with shit he does, often humilates Greg indirectly and trys to control his social life. I kinda hope we get a book about the parents maybe Divorcing, because that will show just how bad she can be.
Finally, someone realized what she did in big shot. She acted like such a horrible mom, trading Greg for the other team so she can win since she didn’t get her glory when she played. If these two characters are included in the next book. I seriously hope Greg at least rubs it a little and realized what she did.
She is a Karen but the one about the heavy metal cd in a video game case is a genuine complaint. If you ordered some video game off amazon or something and the case came but with a completely different disk you would contact amazon about it.
One passage in Double Down that really made me mad was when a mother and her son were frisking Greg because they thought he stole a Lego piece from them and Susan was just standing there doing nothing and later even berating Greg for not making friends. Imagine some total strangers are literally touching your child in front of you! I would go apeshit and dig their own graves! Do better Susan!
Because everyone was convinced he stole _one_single brick_ 💀 makes sense lmao. The scene before that was another red flag because the son was SUPER sheltered and had no TV, games or Internet, but Susan thought that was good parenting 😭
Yet HER youngest child also had trouble with potty training in Book 2 after Uncle Joe told him to “watch out for the potty monster” and scared him from entering the bathroom for a while. Just another example of her being a hypocrite.
And let's not forget the fact that by spoiling Manny, Susan created a monster so in my opinion I don't blame Manny for doing those actions I blame her mother for behaving that way. I still hate Manny by the way.

And to think that these books are actually based on true events which they are then imagine what Jeff Kinney went through even though he’s probably writing the characters as comedic as possible this still could’ve happened to him at some point with his mom wherever he goes with his mom
well, susan always reminded me of my mom when i first read the books, it all makes sense now
To be fair, I’d go to the game store if I found a metal Cd in my game
What's wrong with that
So I'm guessing you don't like metal?
@@frenchempire9471 well it's a GAME SHOP, not a music shop
@@robbietheweirdo well, you can usually find music and games being sold at the same place
@@frenchempire9471 but also if i'm buying a game I'm expecting a game, not music
You also forgot how in the big shot, she LIED to Greg about being her, “secret weapon” and traded her own son on the other team in hopes of winning the game for her team.
There was also that time in the long haul when Susan sold Frank's boat without permission, but she got mad when Frank bought a car by himself and she forced him to get a new one "for the family"
all of her karening:
blames greg for ploopy
the book having no innapropiate when she says its innapropiate
takes pictures of other kids
screamed in frank's face that his job is worthless
never allowed greg to have franks coat even if frank gave him permission
told everyone what to do in book 16
forced greg to change teams then hated on him(spoiler warning but he won)
complained about cd
hates greg too much(she didnt know she was talking trash about greg in front of greg)
doeant let frank buy something
forced kids to not used electronics
lets rodrick to do bad stuff
yes beckys are better
Susan: HOW DARE YOU BUY THAT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!
Also Susan: I'm spending your aunt's money on a bigger kitchen.
She also ruins her kid's choices at something good. Like in Rodrick Rules when she filmed with commentary and when someone else recorded but she started dancing. She also loves Manny and doesn't take a second to think about Rodrick and Greg.
Yeah
I’m reading third wheel and Susan like an idiot puts Greg in a drawer as a baby
@@Sabrina.The_CartoonFan f r the police need to arrest this woman
@@MrOliverK FBI OPEN UP
@@Sabrina.The_CartoonFan -crashing sounds-
Also she is a huge hipocrite getting mad about them leaving her because Greg has said that she has forgotten about him at like stores and stuff like 5 times
Don’t forget about how when Greg went to a Halloween party Susan pulled out Halloween games and took over
Greg did have somewhat of a fun time or smth iirc, but that came with a cost back in school.
Yes!
The title makes me think that he disagrees in his facts which basically means he disagrees with his sanity.

@@d1kgaws12 there is the omicron sub variant also known as the ba2 variant. Not sure who'd that be
Its also when there on the trip and Greg and Rodrick are at home and Rodrick throws a big party. Meanwhile Greg gets stuck in the freaking basement for how long?and Greg also gets blamed for being locked in the basement for a long time I seriously don't get it if it happened to Manny, well she would be super mad.
I don't think Susan knew Greg got locked in the basement. If she did, I don't remember.
Nah she didn’t
Oh srry
Well, when Greg found out that his dad had a leather jacket, his dad told him he could use it. I do feel sorry for how Greg’s family treats him imo
It never ceases to amaze me how Greg never acts like a jerk to his family rather than on Rowley and strangers.
She put a predator in with it’s prey instead of cleaning it’s habitat. I own fish, too. The most aggressive thing I ever had was probably a angelfish that picked on a smaller one, but after a day they became ‘friends’ and lived in harmony.
I disagree with you about the leather jacket, because Greg's dad (the owner of the jacket) said he didn't mind Greg wearing it, so her complaints that it was valuable hold no water
she ain't holding no water, cuz she spilled it
Bruh that’s not even her like wtf she can’t be the boss of everything
THE DANCING. THE MFING DANCING. No Heffely can do squat music related without Susan jumping in to be a background dancer. I think he she had to be forcefully removed from on of her kids events because she was getting in the way.
At least finally after a long, long time, Greg had the final laugh when he won against Susan’s team. But at the cost of his teammates.
If you don't hate Susan after reading at least a few pages of DOAWK then we can conclude that you're not a sane person.
I like Susan because she had an interesting character to say the least.
I wanted to talk about dark realms (the book in the reading is fun club), but since you cover it I can't say you forgot about it
I remember when I was younger and I would read these book I would constantly get so mad at Susan
No wonder Frank's so miserable and done with his life, he has to go to work everyday, only to come back home to 3 horrible and annoying children.
And a literal Karen in her purest form.
Frank would’ve been better off if he just divorce Susan and be a single father
@@gamecube.pizzabroken or killed himself
I feel like this was the video I requested and I couldn't be happier 😁😁😁😁😁
Greg’s dad needs a divorce and full custody I want to see how many turns out as adult after that
I wish there was a fanfic where Frank divorces Susan and gets full custody of the house and children and Susan ends up on the street and learns she cannot take control of people who provides for her
There will be soon
It’s a bird
It’s a plane
It’s SUPER KAREN!!!
Lol
Never liked her at all when I first read the stories. I feel like she's the main reason why Greg grew up pretty Sociopathic.
idk if this is bad but she makes greg interact with EVERY PERSON HIS AGE she sees. (the deep end for example), and not just greg too, the WHOLE family
Deep end
@@arqayayloyan9042 oh LMFAO THANK U
she also complained to rodrick’s manger on his first day of work for making him take out the trash, even tho its an entry level job.
Honestly Jeff Kinney should have named her Karen
Karen pisses me off so much in the series, I'd hate to think what would happen if Greg had been born a girl but still loved what he does as a boy. Lord it would be like one of my family dinners and 'CARRIE' 🩸🩸🩸🩸
Not gonna lie, the heavy metal video game mixup was understandable to complain about. However, the fact that she complained that it was “inappropriate” was utterly ridiculous.
The word "hypocrite" was invented to describe her.
❤
susan just thinks she's the boss of everything doesn't she?
Not to mention the part when she forged the signature of a well-known author. I'm pretty sure that's an actual crime. Wow Susan.
“Susan is a Karen” tell me something I don’t know XD
And Crowranaburger still loves her...
I don't think there is a SINGLE decent human being in these books (minus Rowley and only including developed characters)
It seems in the DOAWK universe, you can either be nice or smart but never both.
Susan is a Karen? Bro the sky's blue of course she is a Karen.
She also FORCED the whole town to go electricity free for a weekend, but during that weekend, SHE USED AN ELECTRONIC TO TRACK HER SON, even though she wanted the town to go electricity free.
Frank was ok with Greg borrowing his leather jacket, so he didn't deserve to be punished.
Frank should just divorce her.
Susan is such a hypocrite in the last one
Oh and don’t forget when Rodrick got (rightfully) upset that she ruined their talent show video with her dancing, and she responds by saying “if you don’t want people to dance, don’t play music”. Gaslight gatekeep girlboss!
I just feel bad for frank. I feel like he must have been abused in a way by Susan
You can hear the unbridled rage in his voice, thank god he’s restrained himself
Let's not forget that she chewed out the manager in book ten just cuz rodrick got trash duty. He was a new employee and had to start at the basic and this women wants him to be advanced. Typical karen
Not to mention she always wanted the whole family to see Roderick work and she always be missing Roderick around since he had himself a job and she gave manny a birthday party at Roderick’s job even though it’s not manny’s birthday like come on Roderick is becoming a man on having a job sometimes he needs to be left alone 🤷🏾♂️
Someone send this to Jeff.
this is the video I needed...
BRO IN RODRICK RULES SHE GOT MAD AT THE GRAMMA FOR MANNY BEING HER FAVORITE WHEN ALL SUSAN DOES IS TREAT LIKE MANNY LIKE THE GOLDEN CHILD???
This is an underrated comment
Susan is actually a name for older karens.
Me as a manager: not again!!!
She is a Karen but the one about the heavy metal cd in a video game case is a genuine complaint. If you ordered some video game off amazon or something and the case came but with a completely different disk you would contact amazon about it.
Susan's a Karen? What else is new?
“Ah yes, the floor is made out of floor”
She's so manipulative too like have you seen how Greg treats Rowley like absolute shit? I can assure you that it has to have been from her
But his dad said it was okay for him to take his jacket
As a kid i used to think susan was a funny character but now when I get older i realize I realize how much of terrible mother she is to greg
let's not forget the time she COOKED his school project, and punished him fpr failing that project
True
There's also this one:
Initially, Greg slept in a fucking drawer while a 6-year-old Rodrick still slept in a crib. Like uhh what?
bro spitting facts
you forgot how she lied about it being mannys birthday
One passage in Double Down that really made me mad was when a mother and her son were frisking Greg because they thought he stole a Lego piece from them and Susan was just standing there doing nothing and later even berating Greg for not making friends. Imagine some total strangers are literally touching your child in front of you! I would go apeshit and dig their own graves! Do better Susan!
Because everyone was convinced he stole _one_single brick_ 💀 makes sense lmao. The scene before that was another red flag because the son was SUPER sheltered and had no TV, games or Internet, but Susan thought that was good parenting 😭
Greg was right. Clearly she doesn’t understand anything about kids his age.
She also kinda trash talked holly hills just because she wasn't potty trained at 4 years old.
Yet HER youngest child also had trouble with potty training in Book 2 after Uncle Joe told him to “watch out for the potty monster” and scared him from entering the bathroom for a while. Just another example of her being a hypocrite.
Sometimes I wonder what would if Greg tried to share his interest with his parents
And let's not forget the fact that by spoiling Manny, Susan created a monster so in my opinion I don't blame Manny for doing those actions I blame her mother for behaving that way.
I still hate Manny by the way.
I need my glasses because at first I thought the title said:
“Susan Heffley is a Kraken”
I couldn't believe that Susan Heffley is a Karen
Can you discuss how Rowley's parents are very overprotective in your next video?
That's a great idea! Like that situation when Greg said that Rowley's mom is on of the parents who would put healthy food in snacks.
@@ysamysza4563 And how they disallow games with fighting.
@@Kad84 Well, it’s mostly Rowley’s dad that doesn’t allow games with fighting. Although I agree he’s being too overprotective as he thinks Rowley playing video games with the slightest bit of fighting would make his son get into fist fights with other kids…. Hey wait a minute! Isn’t Rowley in karate class? So Mr. Jefferson isn’t okay with letting Rowley playing video games with fighting but let’s his son partake in frigging karate, a martial arts that involves FIGHTING?!
