And I always loved Sal's bit in Training where he calls out, "Remember, always attack your opponent's strengths!"
"Don't you mean attack his weaknesses?"
"NO! Everyone expects to be attacked in their weakness, no one expects their strength!"
Just one of those funny bits that worked for me and I'll fall into from time to time.
It’s a fun movie for us wrestling fans. Especially those who lived through the Monday night wars
loved this film then when it came out, still love it now.
RTR is like career mode in a video game
That is strangely spot on
It isn't, but that's exactly what it should have been like. Shouldn't have been about two loser wrestling fans and the hero should have actually looked like a wrestler rather than a beardy fat guy
I like this Ready to Rumble movie back when it first came out then years later if anyone accused me of liking this movie would be result in a back alley knife fight but now nostalgia has kicked in the last couple of years and I can say I do enjoy this movie again but now after watching this Wrestling Bios video all I can think about is how better this movie would have been with Easy-E playing the heel booker.
I WILL RULE YOU! Loved it when it came out, still love it now.
I remember staying up late one night and this came on around 2003-04 and this movie was like a dream come true for a kid obsessed with wrestling. Popped the vhs in to record when it started and watched it on repeat.
