Very helpful. However, I am having an issue. Before adding before adding an image, I went ahead and gave one of my characters a material (color). Then I proceeded with your tutorial. Then toward the end, when I clicked texture mode (near object mode), the rest of my character was purple besides the parts i selected in which had the texture. How do i give only selected parts a textures? Cuz then whatever docent have a texture will be purple
