I just watched "Dont look up" and had a sad realisation of how depressing it is to watch politicians doing there job... Before I enter the white house with a revolver, any medical advices on how to solve that problem?
@@DoctorER Well, there is the episode Bear Flu. I would love to see you react to the whole episode, not just the doctor visit but the point of infection, the bear's reaction to getting sick, and the mass hysteria caused by "bear flu."
@FlyBoyEnterprises He typically reacts to a handful of scenes at a time. Both to give more detailed responses as well as gauge how many folks want to see more of him reacting to that show.
Hilariously enough all three of the bears actually have a much more varied diet than what the doctor suggested. Polar bears do eat predominantly seals but they also can and will eat things like fish, vegetable matter , eggs and carrion. Pandas do eat mostly bamboo but they are actually better suited to eat meat biologically. As for Grizzly bears they eat just about anything. The real issue was that the bears eat mostly human food not that they have a narrow diet
polar bears are classed as hyper carnivores even though that just means 70% or more of their diet is meat and the giant panda is classed as a foliovore meaning predominantly leaves. pandas won't tend to eat stuff that isn't bamboo
For context about the last couple of clips with the bears and the female doctor. The bears had never really had a proper check up before so they weren't sure how to do the tests and were trying to "ace" them but in doing so made the doctor's job all the harder
Context about 5:33 Polar is a very cold bear that barely speaks at all (this is because of his sad past while he was living in Russia) and the hit made him speak a lot. Ps: I would recommend the "Bear flu" episode about how the bears believe that they have a very dangerous disease for searching their symptoms on the internet.
Thanks for this, I really wanted to see medical scenes from "We Bare Bears". You really should make a part 2 to this, as there are several medical issues throughout the series (especially the episode "Bear Flu" which covers a lot of things when the bears actually get sick). There's also the matter of addressing a few medical issues in "Panda's Date" such as the fact Grizz tried too cancel out Panda's peanut allergy with other food (is that even a thing?) before Panda experiences Florence Nightingale Syndrome while a girl saves his life. Not to mention the sugar rush their child prodigy friend Chloe went through in "The Library", and the parallels between Grizz's attempts to try "Hibernation" and a person driving themselves nuts getting back to their tribal roots via new age medicine in an attempt to stand out. There's also some scenes from a few episodes of their cub years that touch on medical issues, like medical expenses ("Escandelosos"), Ice Bear's delayed language skills ("The Island"), and other things I might not have noticed... I'm sure you can take note of them, Doctor ER?
That bit with the eye exam reminds me of IRL story my grandpa told me. After WW2 this one guy went to doctors and had eye exam and the doctor showed him one row, he couldn't read it, then second and he couldn't and she finally went to the biggest letter and he still said he doesn't know what it is. The doctor was at first a bit baffled but it then turned out his eyes are fine he was just illiterate and couldn't read at all. and he was an adult btw. On another note...the reaction of that Polar Bear to a seal was priceless. He could eat fish too...I mean it's meat don't traumatize the poor guy XD
A strange creature broke his foot and it's too shy to meet a doctor so it cover himself up with clothes and asked his friend panda to help him... WHAT A CRAZY STORY!!!
Ice bear isn't exactly mute. He's just says very little. Like "Ice bear agrees" Or "ice bear didn't agree to this". Going from saying a few words to full sentences is still a major shock though.
Hello Jordan I just wanted to say you were one UA-camr/doctor that inspired me to get into medicine plus my general life experience and awesome news I got accepted to the program Job corp and I'm going to do there CMA course!! So thank you for being inspiring
I recommend checking out Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, it's about a doctor who is also a superhero. Unfortunately, only the first 2 episodes are officially available on UA-cam.
in that first clip their friend is a "bigfoot / sasquatch" -- who has hurt his foot, so they put him in clothes and have Panda sit on his back so the doctors see Panda's face instead of bigfoot's face
There is one episode where Charlie(the greenish guy) takes Panda to Chinatown without realising it after Panda wasn’t able to see anything. He then takes Panda to an Acupuncture doctor, and Panda screams the bejesus out of himself over there.
That was a fun reaction. I was wondering if you could do a reaction video with medical scenes in Dragon Ball Z Some I would suggest: - Goku's recovery between the Saiyan saga and the Namek saga after fighting Vegeta. - Vegeta recovering after his fight against Goku. - Vegeta recovering after his first fight against Zarbon. - Goku recovering after his fight against Captain Ginyu. (Has a funny part in it where it shows Goku's fear of needles) - Freeza getting rebuild as a Cyborg after his crushing defeat at the hands of Goku.
The gagging 😂 I have Barrets Esophagus and a Lax sphincter in my esophagus (among a myriad of other health issues) and that’s LITERALLY me at the doctors
You should give the TV series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" a look too. They've got health concerns in episodes ranging from huffing paint, sniffing bleach to gaining near obese levels of weight & then turning that all into muscle. Check it out if you need a new show to examine.
Wearing my Ice Bear hoodie throw and Pan Pan hair towel wrap as I watch this. Ok, you've earned a subscriber 😅 Oh that EpiPen scene hit a bit too close to home. Just a PSA that we don't all get hives and facial swelling during anaphylaxis. Sometimes I jump straight into my heart rate suddenly increasing, blood pressure dropping, throat closing, and good luck if your EpiPen is too far when that happens. I've also been taught to carry both EpiPens in case one fails or you can't get medical care quick enough and need to use the second one.
Funny as it is, allergies are no joke and you can in fact die if not treated right away. Especially if it's a violent reaction like the one Panda just had.
Not strictly doctor related but more dental related, in the show Chloe the student progidy looks inside Grizzes mouth and notes all the cavities, and at her presentation about bears from her research a student in the audience asks about if it's true about bears cavities and state of their teeth. I'm a massive fan of the show, so always looking for interesting clips and new angles, and really enjoyed watching this, as someone who has acid reflux I share Pandas gag reflex woes! Yes please do a part 2, there's quite a lot of medical refs to look for, the interesting thing comes from them seeing human doctors and specialists, when they are bears, somehow the show makes that seem completely normal!
