I went to the ER with no insurance. Had to stay there for 4 nights. The doctor said "don't worry we'll work it out". Now that funny thing is after a row weeks I got an outrageously huge bill in the mail but then I called them and they made it go away.
A few years ago I had, even with insurance, too much of a bill for stuff that was done when I was bit by a brown recluse spider and blood test after when I saw a new doctor. With the blood test they said insurance should take car of all of it which it did not. All together it amount to over $700. After arguing with the hospital and insurance the hospital I went to had a program where certain amounts were forgiven depending on income and they did reduce it by 80% and I paid the rest over time. I just had to turn in a lot of paper work. Even with deductibles it can be so hard for many who do not make much, but on the other hand my premium is low out of my paycheck. I have told others about the program I used to help with bills like that.

I was in ER one time, when two elderly men were hooked up to dialysis machines. TWO nurses came by to check on them. Another nurse comes by and notices that one of the machines was not even on. He was sitting there for hours.
Yeah I think he misinterpreted Dr. Hartman's comment about saying medical school is probably pretty expensive. Like you I was under the impression that he didn't go to medical school.
I love these! And your laugh just makes my day 😂. My favorite Family Guy medical scene (more about insurance) is when the guys burn down the pharmacy. They flash to Joe being in the hospital and the doctor calls the insurance company and says “we have a procedure that can restore his ability to walk.” Then he says $200,000.00. So then the doctor says we have a wheelchair and that’s $60. So he hangs up the phone and looks at Joe and says “They’re going with B!!” 😂😂😂😂😂
Something the middle of this video just made me think of so I thought I'd share: I was in a serious car accident a long time ago and got away super lucky. Went to the ER and the nurses there did a great job of getting the shards of glass all removed from my hand and arm. A little over a decade later, and I only have a bit of scarring on my hand. Far less than I thought I'd end up with given they had to pull some skin together. You can't even really notice unless you're looking right at my hand. It's something small but I'm glad we have access to people who can do such a great job. :)

3:09 Thx for Russian translate In Russia we have free insurance (there are others, but the state one usually covers a lot) called “Compulsory Health Insurance” (CHI). Anyone can seek medical care without fear that their insurance has expired (in fact, CHI cannot expire), but there is a downside. Doctors are paid differently than in private hospitals (that is, less), but this in no way speaks of their professionalism, because despite this, they are true professionals. Recently, for about a year or two, the state has been establishing relations with private clinics and hospitals. The result was that with the help of CHI you can use some services of private clinics, but only with a referral from a doctor (for example, I underwent a PET/CT scan of the whole body absolutely free).
So, the context with Chris having a heart attack was that the parents and kids switched roles. Chris, when doing Peter's job, became an alcoholic, the stress of the job leading to the heart attack after he snapped seemingly out of the blue during dinner.

Read a newspaper article about a man impaled by a log-not sure of the diameter, but the picture showed it to be quite wide in diameter-through his sternum. 18:41 - Correction: muscle and fat don’t weigh differently. The density of one is greater than the other, but weight is the amount of matter in a given volume and dependent on the amount of gravity pulling you down. Mass in space is far less than on earth because the ground is pushing back on you giving a greater “weight” as you are pulled by the gravity of earth. 1 pound of rock weighs the same as 1 pound of feathers. It doesn’t equate to a greater weight, just the density of one is much greater than the other.

There's a real life surgery that might make Joe walk again called a BSI ( Brain-Spine Interface) but it's still highly experimental, and isn't available to the general public. We were Troop 605.) teaching us that medical operations can take a VERY long time to perfect.

I usually tell people I've had lasik because I pretty much permanently wear sunglasses now due to an increased sensitivity to light and people are a bit offput but the fact that I refuse to take them off unless I live indoors... and the lights in my house are almost permanently off... so it's sort of a double creepy factory.
Uk has free heath care, usa is so unlucky, they cant have a heart attack without paying.
I’m a veteran and get health care from our VA ( veterans administration) here in the US 100% rated which everyone had free health care agreed.
16:36 my dentist is always happy to see me on the „chopping block“ Since I m used to the stuff dentists perform and almost feel no pain in my jaw. So he can let the apprentices work on my (I m very ok with that). I m there almost every 2 weeks for almost 12 years. Fun dentist and friendly apprentices!
Greetings Kendoka2
You should really consider adding Beavis and Butthead to your list of shows you react to. They get themselves into some pretty horrible medical situations and seem to be the only classic American adult animated series you don't react to yet. I think it you be a great addition to your channel and you provide you quite a bit if material.
you mean im gonna be one of those ''big shoe little shoe'' guys ??!! lmao
🙂
I like new videos!! DoctorEr i like watching your videos! Your video's very interesting!!!❤❤❤
Read a newspaper article about a man impaled by a log-not sure of the diameter, but the picture showed it to be quite wide in diameter-through his sternum. The hospital cut it off the back, pulled through the front, and after treatment he recovered. I was really surprised his heart wasn't impaled, because it looked like the post was half the width of his chest, and it took the half right down the middle!

Привет из Казахстана 👋
Am I the only one that was surprised that Hartman knows what a prostate is and how to perform one?
Speaking of risk from vaccines. I developed epilepsy at 15 months after I got my one year vaccination. Epilepsy develops normally at ages 3 and 4, but there’s still a risk if you’re older than 70.
They missed the opportunity to name the doctor Dr HURTman or they've put that Hart- purpousely
One of my friend worked in a hospital morgue and had to remove a pacemaker from a freshly dead patient... he got sprayed by his blood and his wife who was there for a viewing was minuts away from the room, they had to clean really fast before she came. He drank a beer with me still with blood on him, interesting experience
1:14 As a pedantic jerk it depends on the impaled object. It's perfectly fine to remove a splinter on your own.
There is one detail about joe's legs. In one episode we know about he was paralyzed because his legs was shooted much time. In different episodes we had different ways how joe paralyzed
"What! That's Horrible"
"Thats Messed Up"
"Its Totally Inappropriate"
Welcome to Family Guy 😂

There's a real life surgery that might make Joe walk again called a BSI ( Brain-Spine Interface) but it's still highly experimental, and isn't available to the general public. I'm going off my First-Aid classes from Boy Scouts. I read that manual for the first time 8 FREAKING years ago, when I was 12. I thought they would've worked out all the bugs or whatever, but at the same time, I also remember my Scout Master (who just happened to be my best friend's dad, who was ALSO a scout, along with my brother Eddie, his Best Bud, as he called him, Jack, and our good friend David. We were Troop 605.) teaching us that medical operations can take a VERY long time to perfect.
This guy just explained to me that if women sneeze too hard they will actually not have a penis and testicles explode out. Thanks Dr for clearing that up 👍🏼
16:54 Yes, doctor, after the operation you can ask for an amputated limb. I've heard about such cases.
While true that the amount in a coin wouldnt be enough Nickle to cause full on Nickle Poisoning, the fact that nickle poisoning does cause blindness is actually very accurate, and from Dr Hartmen too, good job Family Guy, made him slightly less stupid.
Also Dr, the joke is he is a doctor who never even went to school, he has 0 idea what hes doing, and somehow still has a job
6:16 love the classic 'i love lucy' reference.
12:10 that was not his food....
47:39 my school tried to tell my mom to get me on riddelen when i was in elementary school, but my mom just told them i was just bored.
Великолепно! Предлагаю сделать такие сборники по всем мультикам)
EDS patient here, glad to hear a professional talk about chiropractics, i have always required it just to stay out of serious pain
22:59 jajajajaja que buen detalle que incluso trajeron al actor de voz original del Dr. House en la serie xD
Love this guy, great content
How did Dr Hartman get hired
I really like your videos, they are very fun and educational
At 6:29 it reminds me of Drake and Josh the original conveyor belt
It’s a deliberate reference
Well this is interesting… . Nice reaction. Also, this is surprising to see the new background… . Cool!
I got pranked into drinking gasoline and the ER just said “you’re trying to kill yourself we can’t help you unless you get a paper from a psychologist” I’m so glad I moved from that… country I shall not name
thats really stupid for someone to do.
specially a doctor.
