Missed the episode where Finn has both of his legs broken and enters a coma for six months and Jake has amnesia from a head trauma. (The one with the creepy deer).
I'm thinking of that time Jake got poisoned and the poisoner boasted "I put enough poison in him to kill a dog 50X his size!" and then Jake just grew his liver 51X larger and he just healed it.
10:12 What Lumpy Space Princess meant is that Jake got lumps after she bit him ,which means he will eventually turn into a floating cloud thing like her if Jake doesn't get the antidote in time
Adventure Time has some surprisingly deep and touching moments for a show as whacked out as it is. It is a Post post-apocalypse world, and the Ice King actually lived through the apocalypse. You learn his backstory, and how he saved the life of another important character when she was young and cared for her during the hard times after the war that destroyed the earth. And you see his slow decent into madness caused by his new magic powers, and how that affected his relationship with the other character. Very sad episode.
@@blobinarandom7692 Not really. That episode has been out for ages, and the show has been over for a few years. So if you don't at least know that and you like the show then you must live under a rock.

This guy is a great host to his show. When I was still on facebook, always loved his segments on Gamology. Definitely added to my list of subscribers 👍
Something missing in the clip you watched at the beginning was yes, the sword didn't wake her up, but at the end of that episode, part of the ceiling fan broke, almost hit her, but she immediately woke up, stopping it!
I was thinking more of the episode explaining the chakras or when Katara heals her burns, but that works too. Edit: actually, Nightmares and Daydreams might be good for showing sleep deprivation
If you haven't watched avatar yet, don't read Also would like to add Aang's coma, Zuko becoming ill from his change, Jet's death, maybe bloodbending? Just what I could think up on the spot.
Adventure Time on the surface SEEMS like a bright and cheerful nonsense world. Especially when you first start watching it, it seems like a fever dream. But as you watch it in order, and get deeper into it, and unravel the actual plot and history of the world....all (or a lot of) the nonsense starts to gain more and more meaning, and what once seemed to be cheerfully childish and silly slowly is revealed to be nightmarish and horrifying. Tons of the stuff that seems like arbitrary silliness turns out to be diabolically intentional. It's actually a REALLY neat show that I was fairly resistant to watching initially.
OK, Jordan, if you're interested in war movies (like WW2), I've recently found a Russian (cooperation with Ukrainians) movie, that you should love, but I feel you should try making a collab with a historian and maybe some sort of military personnel, because this movie is obviously and they WILL like it. The title is "Battle of Sevastopol" and it tells a war story of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, and it has a lot of things to be discussed (mainly because it's not Hollywood, so you'll probably not expect stuff). The scenes I remember the most are: 1) First contact with the enemy near Odessa 2) First aid given by Lyuda (diminutive of a name, just like Doug from Douglas and similar) to soldiers of both sides 3) PSTD showed very clearly during one of the jumps into the "future", where she cooks with Eleanor Roosevelt 4) Artillery burying her alive 5) Lyuda trying to convince a doc to send her back onto the frontline 6) During one of the final scenes she takes a shot into a lung like a champ and is able to "normally" live until medical care. The other choice is Polish "Westerplatte" from 2013. 1) Of course obvious gunshot wounds to different places 2) Local surgeon trying to take care of everyone 3) Commander getting some mental disorders 4) For some reason they've actually gotten a cow to have milk, which they don't boil (I had several occasions to drink unpasteurized milk too)
The scene with Princess Bubblegum being being just a blob. She lowkey looks like a burn victim. Mainly because Ice King dropped her in toxic acid after releasing her, which melted her since she's made of actual bubblegum.
Learned so much from the video whether it is why he feel hot when we feel cold as we are sick. Doctors do not run around in the hospital & test explanation about viral diseases was enlightening.
The Lumpy part, in the show there's many kingdoms, the purple thing, known as Lumpy Space Princess bit him ( the yellow dog aka Jake ) and transfered the lumpiness to him, near the episode Jake became like apart of the Lumpy Space
This only covered scenes from the early seasons, but there's some pretty good ones in the later ones as well. They're not quite as comedically focused, as by that point the series had shifted more towards being story- and character-driven rather than being just 11 minutes of goofy jokes and antics, but they're still definitely there. "Another Way" (S3E23) has some *_very_* alternative forms of medicine. "All Your Fault" (S5E9) has a scene with some casual brainwashing. "Little Brother" (S6E11) gets into some worm physiology, which is always fun. "Joshua and Margaret Investigations" (S6E16) has some scenes regarding venom and antivenom, and one scene in particular towards the end which I'd love to see you react to-no spoilers, but fans of the show exactly what I'm talking about. "Dentist" (S6E21)... I mean, it's in the name. Also, worms. (not those kinds, fortunately) "May I Come In" (S7E10) has another scene involving venom, and is continued by the scenes in PepBut's poison lab in "Take Her Back" (S7E11). Also, I know your channel is mainly focused on the physical side of health, but "I Remember You" (S4E25) and "Simon & Marcy" (S5E14) have some great depictions of mental health.
You didn't catch the scene where creepy clown nurses kiss wounds to make them better. Love this show. If you give it a chance, you will find a deeply philosophical story. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.
