@@wellywoodwargaming The standards of the studio paintjobs... er, fluctuate depending on what game system is involved. I know why the 'Eavy Metal style is a thing, but I wish they'd push the boat out creatively sometimes.

Loving the channel. Playing Cawdor currently at the moment (getting butchered 5 - 0 )💯 agree with you about The Headsman. My favourite has to go to Belladonna. Maybe due to the lore more than the model. I’m sure she was about back in the first edition in the 90s. Keep up the great work. Fantastic content. I’d love to see some list breakdowns for gangs in future. 👊
Fun top 10! I agree completely that the Slaver Guild is awesome and I think just gets a lot of hate because some people are just trained to hate anything that is "fat". A couple of disagrees on the 5 worst though! The Berserker isn't awesome, but it really is just the head that is the problem, and honestly in person the head is a lot better than how it is in that picture. The paintjob has obliterated all definition on it so it just looks like a bloated blob next to the heavily muscled body. I also really dig the small arm vs the big arm, does a great job of conveying the uncontrolled growth that occurs when they go too far on the stimms. Bones growing rapidly and piercing out of the skin, the mass of muscles on the body and one arm while the other arm has mostly been unaffected.. it's really chaotic and neat! I also don't really agree with the Arachni-Rig. Once again, it's not awesome, it's more bulky than I expected, but then it's a brute and should be large I guess! I think the aesthetic fits the Van Saar. It's one of those models that suffers from looking weird at certain angles, but you say you've seen it in person so I guess that's not what you don't like about it. I'd add Thaetos 23-2 to the list of worst, maybe even #1 worst, although tough call between him and Ortruun 8-8, aka the floating blob. For the other spot I'd probably have to say Belladonna. Her bionics are very strangely shaped and her fleshy parts just being poorly sculpted I think. The face looks odd and, like the Khimerix there's several ribbons tied into bows that just don't fit her character and personality.
It’s a shame you don’t like the Arachni-Rig, as I think it’s one of my favorite. Well at least the armored torso, not the cage. Makes me think of the Nemesis Dreadknight, AKA the baby carrier
Whole-heartedly agree with your list, especially with your top picks. The Jagerkin is simply breathtaking. It's also great that her style matches nicely with the Elucidian Starstrider voidsmen from the Kill Team Rogue Trader box (which is one of the most excellent boxes of all time, model-wise). So, those could be material for a gang to build around her. Also, the Khimerix always breaks my heart. When I first saw the artwork, I immediately fell in love with it, but the model is such a letdown. It may be that the small base size severely limited the sculptor, but then again, people in the community have done such amazing conversions based on dark elf lizards and Drukhari critters that are so much better. The FW model is simply uninspired and bulky by comparison. Anyway, enjoyed the video, chuffed for more!
Just me, or does the audio cut off suddenly about a minute from the end? Agree with your choices, am particular to Kria the Huntress, who I consider to be the best Escher sculpt, but can see might not be your thing.
I play Goliath and Escher, and started Van Saar early last year. I waited years for brutes, especially the Khimerix and Arachnirig. Imagine my complete and utter fucking disappointment. Still, they look better than the Orlock brute at least.

I don't think Belladonna existed before they added her in 2018. I'd guess you're thinking of Mad Donna?
