Hopefully this video helps you all out when having a look at a good setup for the mystic spearhand and it gives you some good inspiration for your own builds with this vocation. General tips:
-Using forebeding bolt at the peak of feste will cancel the animations, after which you can follow with foin to get vertical AND horizontal movement
-Always having bolt charging during combat is core to playing the class, as it can cancel long animations and get you out of staggers
-Follow up your forebeding bolt with a heavy attack, it will trigger an execution style animation and deal your damage with big multiplier

I don't think, you can use Foin to disengage because it targets automatically the enemy, i didn't tested it but everytime i use Foin is to close the gasp of enemies i don't have in my camera, and later i turn the camera to face them.
Any tips on getting the windmill move to work? I cant get it off for the life of me. I just keep spamming square and still nothing.

Everyone says you need to be really fast to use winding cut, but I’m trying to normally use twein cut and I just shift into winding. Anyone else having this issue?
Yes, sometimes its more annoying that useful hahaha, still great damage though just limits mobility!
Bruh I just upgraded Wild Furie from the end game shop guy and I only use barley 20% of my stamina bar now vs 90% with zeal on. This thing is NUTTY stronk now. makes me wonder how much it reduces thiefs feint

You need to level up other vocations to get better augments, most your augment is bare minimum
I can't use quick fot for some reason, my char never teleports when I press space after right click, am I doing something wrong?

@@eddyram4932 Are you talking about the Mystic's teleport skill to the enemy?
@@WakingDreamer01 it seemed to me that he wasn’t charging the range stun before tapping Space to jump.
Archer Vocation Rank 8 - Augment "Lethality" - Increases damage by 5% to enemy weak points. Not much but Damage is Damage :)

If you have a perfect mage, you don't need it
@@Grubkiller35 No such thing as a perfect mage since a perfect mage would need 5-6 skills which it can't have.
@nuke2099 I disagree. A mage imo is a perfect support. An my mage is the perfect support. No dps just a rock solid support for any situation

Why don't you mention the shield? Its one of the best skills it has.
Yeah you could swap that one in, I found that the mobility this build has means I didn't need it especially with a healing mage pawn but you could easily swap it in if you prefer to have it!
@@Invin the shield is not only to neglect dmg, it helps you to don't get grabbed or knockdown for the duration of it
Shield is one of the most overpowered / broken skills of ANY vocation! It's basically invulnerability for you and any allies close by when casting. With a little practice in stamina management, shield can stay on for 90% of the battle. A dragon can literally body slam on top of your head and you will get ZERO dmage!
The mystic spearhand would be the tankiest of your party from just this ONE skill alone, except for when the warrior / fighter in your teams ALSO gets buffed with YOUR shield.
@@WakingDreamer01 Zero dmg and zero stuns, the shield last for 10 seconds, you can have a party of pawn thiefs and destroy everything just putting the fucking shield, is stupid.
But here this person making a guide and saying that the shield is just for dmg mitigation, like brother, have you even played the vocation deeply? There's videos from over two weeks that tells everything about the shield and how OP it's, and i clicked this video because it was the closer to date and i thought it would be more updated then i had to check the older ones and saw the acknowledge for the shield, and how the meister skill is not as good as it seems.
@WakingDreamer01 hell if you have a mage pawn with the skill to constantly replenish stamina, you won't even need to do stamina mitigation
This vocation feels slow to me, thiefs movement and execution kills are far better
Thief is beyond broken and is the best vocation in the game. Everything else will feel weak in comparison.
@@Ranziel1 except magick archer...which is equally as broken or more so imo. Just like in DD1. I was worried they'd nerf it but it's as good as ever
@@Ranziel1 yea yea everything thats a favorite of somebody is broken yadayada. That being said, my favorites are thief, mystic spearhand and magic archer. They are all equally good. Neither is better than the other. However, I would say MS has the slight edge because with that shield up you never die
I bet my Sorcerer does more damage. I guarantee it! 💯
Maybe, I have a Sorcerer class in the works, tons of damage!
