I have a trickster tip! Carry spellbooks! That way after you draw aggro and set your pawns loose on the enemy, pop a spellbook really quick to add an actual dps option for trickster.
5 Curiosities of a main trickster: 1 - Few people know but the ashtray you get from Sphinx can give you 50k gold. (It was probably 100k but they reduced the value and increased the chance percentages). As I use it a lot, it has happened to me 4 times (200k). 2 - Visiting aurea + water is the trickster's most lethal weapon. Placing your clone underwater, bosses and normal enemies will always drown. 3 - the trickster does no damage, but you can always grab and throw bodies, rocks, explosive barrels and even throw enemies off cliffs/sea while they are distracted and cause a lot of damage. 4 - You can always disable enemies by placing your clone (using visiting) under bridges or high enough so that mobs can't reach it. 5 - You can carry the clone with you while you walk around the world by holding the main skill button. You won't need to create another one when you enter combat, and you won't be interrupted while trying to do so. Extra: Holding the main skill button + Y/triangle unlocks a skill that makes enemies fight each other, but the enemy hit will be chasing you and you will have to use other mobs to protect you from it.
Bonus tip for warfarer in the next video: you can equip a sword and a mace for fighter skills, or greatsword and great hammer for warrior skills. This can give you access to strike and slash damage and even elemental damage if you’re using the right weapon. It won’t add much to your equip weight, won’t cost you extra skills, and can make you way more versatile. Great for soloing and being prepared for anything
As an added bonus, the second best weapons for both vocations are elemental blunt weapons, and the third or fourth ones (debatable due to the Warrior having a drakebane passive for 80% more damage to drakes on the axe) are... Also elemental blunt weapons.
Trickster 's Weapon Skill - Aromatic Rally - Seem to ack like a type of Rage for the pawns. "boosts the offensive capabilities of allies it touches and allows them to fight on even if their Health runs out." It seem to make the pawns ai act more aggressively. Trickster: Use Visitant Aura and fly up above an enemy/group of enemies. Put you simulacrum in the air. This makes any enemy without a ranged/arial attack break and just stand there as you and your pawns go ham on it. I say you, because with the censer from the sphinx, each smack with it gives either 10, 100, or 1000 gold.
One thing that took me longer to learn than i'd like to admit is that the mage/sorcerer levitate "click to hover ability" also has a hold-to-raise input option. (I guess that's what i get for playing the mage myself so it took a long time until i hired a mage pawn and saw it hover up a ledge to open a chest)
One thing I think is important to know for the trickster is the following: Even if your standard attack (or all your attacks to be precise) don't do damage, you still should attack the enemies. Or enemie because for mutiple targets you have a skill. Because your standard attacks generate enmity (or aggro) so you can do you job as trickster of tanking without getting hit. As long your clone is up all enmity you have gets automatically transferred to the clone. The clone vanishes if you get hit so be careful where you are in the field in a fight. Oh and very important, too: the trickster needs strength AND magic as stats. His strength ensures that he gets enmity so higher strength - harder for the pawns to take it away. the magic stat on the other hand is important for the amount of HP you clone has. If your clone gets damaged you can hold the button which calls it to you and then it heals it back up. On the controller it's RB (XBox) or R1 (PS). For keyboard I don't know, I play with controller on my PC 😅But the healing is a core skill so you have to reach... rank 2 maybe? so it's easy to unlock ^^ I think that's the important things for the trickster that I am aware of. The rest comes when playing and leveling up :D
A tip for Mystic Spearhand. If you've ever wondered why you can't use Quik Fot after just tapping the bolt, that's because it only works with the charged versions - both the short one and the long one. Those are actually the two specific Bolt skills named by Quik Fot, and the tapped one is a different version of the skill. Also, the input is extremely tight, but more importantly it seems to not trigger if you just mash jump - so you actually have to try to time it, since the game won't let you spam. Fortunately, you can charge your bolt at almost any time, including during other attacks. Also, minor thing, but I think Warrior's Barge goes further if done after an attack. It carries through the momentum to an extent, but from standing it barely moves you. Dragon's Delusion and Solemnity seem to be able to act as parry-like moves against flying enemies that are charging up attacks. If the enemy is preparing something big, they take way more stagger from these moves and will frequently just drop out of the sky. Delusion seems to just do it almost every time on liches whether they're incanting or not though. Solemnity needs it to be an interrupt for the same effect. Occasionally Dragon's Delusion can do the same to ground enemies, so I think it's just dealing a certain level of stagger damage+some multiplier when interrupting attacks. Solemnity has the added bonus of being able to render liches utterly helpless to do anything, and Gorechimeras unable to resurrect their other heads, which is hilarious. Empyrean does terrible damage, but can be stacked and also seems to do enormous stagger buildup to undead. Useful in the Unmoored. Drop like three on a pile of zombies and watch them burn, or a lich or other advanced undead eventually get hard staggered by your silly light source. Maelstrom and Meteoron can deal damage to golems even if they somehow survive all their medals breaking. Not sure if this can happen in an unmodded game, but just to let you know it's not a softlock... Just have to keep waiting for the maelstrom to hit the right spot to finish the golem off eventually.
My issue is that when i use the one that spreads, i cant quil fot. I even checked skill descriptions to make sure. I can do the spread follow up. I can quik fot. But i cant quik fot after the spread 😢 Oh well, im finding warfarer more fun anyway...
@@taznkid1730 You can't press them at the same time because the timing is different, you have to press one very slightly after the other and it should work (I haven't played MS in a while so I can't remember which goes first). Then it should work
You can use illusive divider then switch weapons as warfarer and the barrier persists, making some fun opportunities for ranged vocations to blast away while basically invisible. Works well with the stacked augural flare combo Josh seems to love.
I love trickster. I main warrior but play healers in MMOs. The thing that's fun with it is micro managing. The only tip I can think of with it is using the illusions to draw agro during the hanger things in the desert area.
You might already know this but the Trickster weapon that you get as a reward from one of the Sphynx riddles will give you randomly from 10 gold to 50k gold for each hit on an enemy. Granted the chance for 50k is kind of low but it happened to me 2x and I didnt play trickster much.
Does it award the gold via gold pouches or is it just added? Because if it's pouches...that could be interesting with the gold pouch augment from Trickster
You can get the ring of requital from a cave outside vernworth. Exit the gate that leads to the farm lands/where the oxcart to Melve is. Follow the road until you cross the bridge. Go left. Walk/run until u pass a broken stone bridge/wall. Right after it there's a cave on your right in the mountain with thieves inside. It'll be sitting on the ground in front of what looks like a tombstone. Your welcome guys.
Trickster was pretty fun level in new game+ , took out a dragon by drawing attention and having pawns take it out while buffed w trickster skill and the mag archer pawn augments
It is possible to get two Eternal bond rings. If the Arisen wears the ring/s you gain affinity 10% faster for each one worn. So if you combine this with allure (which is also 10%) from Trickster well you'll be gaining affinity even faster.
When you use the archers steady shot,it will register where you hit as the auto target for a good while or until you aim at something else..for example if you manually aim a explosive shot and immediately press your quick attack, not only will you fire a shot almost instantly afterwords,it will also try to hit where you landed the skill... instantly popping the arrow.
Playing while watching this, i pressed the right stick in while using steady shot on a bow and it unleashed a more powerful but less accurate shot. I know it was a magic archer tip but i was curious and it worked!
My Experience with the trickster was really boring. but The best build I did was go Full Pawn Buffing. I think there are some Rings that you can put on (Your Character) that will buff your Pawn. and I think some of the Warfare Augments Buff Pawns as well. I have not played Trickster in a long time so I forget.
Trickster weapon skill Tricky Terrace(fake floor). It's not only used to trick monsters into jumping to their death. If you cast this directly onto small monsters(not tested on big monsters), they will trip(stagger). I combo this on a Warfarer with Mystic Spearhand. Gather monsters with simulacrum, make them trip with tricky Terrace, then cast the Force push to throw everything away.
A tip for Trickster and it's Master Skill, Dragon's Delusion, you can guarantee a stagger on a number of larger enemies by using Dragon's Delusion. It won't knock an enemy back or down on it's own, but it will make a Griffon, Cyclops, Ogre, or Chimera stumble. It works on every use, I was fighting a Griffon as a Trickster one time and just started spamming Dragon's Delusion and I did it about 6 times in a row, and the Griffon couldn't do much or move much. Gives pawns a pretty good opportunity to attack since it keeps the enemy in place.
Tip for trickster. Use the skill that let's you astral project. You can fly up drop your clone the enemies wont be able to hit it and will continue trying to and obviously missing. From there just keep recasting the skill that makes enemies aggro your clone and watch as your pawns murder them with 0 risk.
I think it was hinted at in the skill demo, but for trickster, you can use the illusory platform to trip smaller enemies like wolves and goblins. This way if your clone gets overrun or you haven't had the chance to set it up yet you can cast this and stand in it to give you a bit of protection from stunlocks
You can definitely dodge backwards to avoid flames of the pyre damage. It doesnt need formless feint. I use this with the blast charge and concussion leap for explosive thief build.
It was driving me crazy since it doesnt take verticality into account, so unfortunately, ive taken to cheating by getting as close as i can, then reading fextralife description of the location 😢 I have taken more damage and died more times from fall damage than from any actual combat. Heck, i have yet to die from combat at all. Lost count of deaths by falling.
@@taznkid1730 the only time i died from combat in DD2... is during the true end... one of the brine dragons used an ability that basically functioned like brine and instantly killed me before i realized what was happening... beyond that instant death ability i have never died in combat cus its usually too easy.
Hollow, you're a way better content creator than your buddies. You get straight to the point and don't sound like you're trying way too hard doing it. So, thank you.
for trickster, the damage buff that hurts you pawns really isn't as much of a down side as you think. it will be recoverable in its entirety. very easy to mitigat if you have a healer like a mage or that specialization on any pawn that lets them use items on the entire party to heal. also if you want to use sorcerers but casting is too long so enemies keep agrowing to them, not only is trckster good at getting agro but you can make a fake wall to hide your sorcerers so they can cast with impunity.
Trickster tip. Illusory divide is not a wall, but a small hemisphere. If you stand on one side and the enemy is on the other side, they WILL see you. If you stand IN the small foggy hemisphere, they will not see you. Place it over a dead small enemy and pick up and throw the dead one from inside it to deal big damage.
I gave this a go and my pawn actually did hold Meteoron in their staff for about half an hour before it was used... somehow. Very frustrating as every combat they started casting a new Meteoron instead of using the one in the staff, and I can't seem to trigger them holding a new spell. At least the staff glowed for a bit. Might need to experiment with different inclinations.
for me i play warfare : 1. Staff for prophesying flame/spellhold for double prophesying flame , 2.thief for stagger prophesying flame (depend on the spot/enemy ) also good to fight normal / skull splitter /movment speed + stanima recovery. 3 Magic Archer Also for stagger prophesying flame and also for haypies etc range option always important 4. Warrior for knockdown bosses after the stagger dmg. / movment speed skill/ 5.Mystic spear for invicible skill /heavy attacks 6. Mage staff for heal myself / levitation. also to combo it with. 7. Fighter, mainly to reduce the fall dmg after a high levitate. (you can switch in mid air) also i like Fighter ;D You can also switch from warrior to thief (with enough stamina) and after his movement skill and spent stanima, the thief's movemt speed combo continues because he regenerates stanima during this, so you can then go back to warriors etc 😜😅 Think about it, it make a lot of sense ;D # Trickster is also a cool option for afk relax fights with buffing teammate but 8 is to much for me ^^
you know i realize that mage is realistically a better pawn but I honestly had way to much fun playing support. the fights take longer but you have so much to do that it really feels a bit more engaging than playing front line.
I often even put team on hold to make sure i do the last hit.. Also take medusas bow to dragon forge it and upgrade the tempest shot skill for half the stamina use as well
The third fire explosion skill that you use after formless faint will not give you fire on your weapon if you have a weapon with a element on it as a matter of fact neither will your mages elemental boon just something I had to figure out myself but you can still use it to explode next to enemies
Trickster is getting a lot of hate from content creators. I'll admit it is my least favorite class, but its skill that buffs your pawns is incredibly potent. I dropped my illusion next to a drake, aggroed it, and then buffed my pawns. They killed the drake in less than a minute
Trickster is dunked on because it doesn't fit into traditional meta... But man is Aromatic Resurgence kind of busted just universally. In vanilla unmodded you can do what Cowboy does and play warfarer with it and High Celerity, and he threw on Bartizan/Fortalice for extra fun, because that makes drakes blow themselves up too. Obscenely fast ttk and as an added bonus, everyone is constantly nigh-invincible and buffed to the moon. Wild stuff. I play with the True Warfarer mod so as to have full trickster along for the ride though. I should consider trying that Fortalice/Celerity thing...
@FelisImpurrator Yeah, I saw that video. He was getting faster kills than a lot of his dps focused builds. I was just playing as pure trickster to level the vocation and the drake in a buffed maelstrom just melted
@@majorcosmos2 Oh yeah, that's actually part of why it hits so hard: It buffs pawns in a way that nothing else really does. It scales far better than MA augs, it affects everything equally (unlike Celerity, which doesn't buff incant time I think), it just inflates numbers in a game where damage taken is "Attack minus defense". So it makes things go from chip damage to brutalizing targets. Especially when it's something like Maelstrom that hits a billion times for relatively lower per-hit, but does force damage, which can go through anything (apparently; it can kill even a wacked-out, buggy golem if you scale enemy HP in such a way that medals all break before the golem runs out of health, and it takes 0 damage from anything else as a result). The single biggest weakness of trickster is that the clone health is so low, though. Especially for that cast time. Feels bad with drakes especially. It is great to just plant it on the back of a cyclops or an ogre though. Or even a chimera or Medusa. Those guys have no idea how to deal with things clinging directly to their backs.
@FelisImpurrator the low illusion health is relatively easy to get around, though. You just use your class action to call it to you and reposition it in between attacks, since all the big enemies telegraph all their attacks
@@FelisImpurrator trickster is honestly just a flawed class due to the fact they are only useable with warfarer builds and most of their skills are kinda useless the mega taunt s incredible cause unlike the warrior and fighter ones it actually works but if you lose your ghost then hey I hope you like being staggered cause trickster gear has no poise the rally is great but thats all every other active skill is either way to spesific to be reliable or its outright buggy the walls only work sometimes and even when they do theres not much you can do with it the floors are pretty much pointless cause you need the spirit scout to be able to use them properly effectively locking 2 skill lots for a highly situational option seeing enemies through walls is useless cause theres no stealth mechanics the sprit scout is cool for finding seeker tokens but thats basically all its really good for unless used with the floors that are to situational for the bad targeting makes the latch throw a death sentence cause if you miss now you back to being stager locked and to round it all out you can't do any damage at all If they had half decent poise could atleast do chip damage or the pawn AI was better then it would be a great class but sadly in isolation it just underperforms at everything it does once having good use when paired with the ability to swap into a class that actually does something
Its not wise to only have support skills on your mage pawn. The AI gets confused with what to cast even if you use the "help!" Command. High celeirty also isnt worth it because you have to manually run to it and the other pawns wont go to it. Having at least one damage skill helps greatly i recommend high levin for flying opponents. Swap celeirty for the massive heal. This set up will makesure the mage pawn uses the meister skill often combined with heals when needed
Why has no one actually discussed the fact you can train your pawn?? Like for instance you saw one casting celerity and the other anodyne. If your own pawn keeps repeating the spell anodyne but you want it to consistently help you, casting the buff at the right time. Interupt your pawn by picking them up, place back down. Repeat. This also helps with boss fight training. Don't want them to cast meteora when the enemy is down? Pick them up. Ooh, and quick side note. They have to see EVERYTHING. every move you make, every step you take. Your pawn should be watching you.
In warfarer you don't actually get less XP it just gets spread out and once something is fully maxed out the XP is spread out again at an even number between the ones that are not warfare once you max out warfare then it cancels out one out and it gets spread out again evenly so you never actually lose any XP it just evenly distributes it
So simple one but I really haven’t seen this talked about the advantage warfarer has in terms of equipment options currently I’m wearing the summoners crown with the dominator armor and the striders leggings and my defense and magic defense are really good
Because the warfarer has lower base stats than the individual classes. A warfarer can get more stength than a thief or more defense than a mage but the stats still fall short across the board on average.
Love the video! The breakdown of weapon skills for a mage pawn is great! Any chance we can get the same for other pawn vocations? pawn AI isn't so great on a pawn warrior with Arc of might IMO, they kinda go full throttle and dont manage stamina well even on a Calm inclination. Better off with mountain breaker or something.
Meteoron sucks cause most of the time the stupid mountains/hills block it. So you have to angle yourself to let it come in through the open pathways.... normally use maelstrom or whatever the gimp, compared to DD1, tornado is called.
For me, trickster isn't that fun to play, but it's been the easiest class to kill drakes with. Mage, sorcerer, and archer/thief pawns and just kite the drake in circles while buffing your pawns attacks.
there has yo be a great way to make money with the sensor that yhe sphinx give you since you dont do damage . like find a field with oxen or cows and just hit them over and over . does no damage but get them ns of money
I noticed a small mistake with the "Spellhold" ability. Or I just misunderstood you. Because the spell you store with the upgrated "Spellhold" doesn't get cheaper in comparison to casting it normal. The abiltiy says that you can cast the hold spell anytime but at higher cost than normal. So this means that the upgrated "Spellhold" still has higher cost to cast but it is cheaper then with the base version. Like I said I could have misunderstood you or I misunderstood the description of "Spellhold" entirely but I am pretty sure I didn't. ^^
Whats up with Capcom being so vague with their descriptions? Monster Hunter is the same way, the skill sounds good so you equip it and then dataminers eventually let you know how horrible it actually is. I remember seeing every pawn with the strength and magic attack augments equipped until the info was released and now every pawn has all defensive augments equipped 😂
The best way to play trickster is to not play trickster. Instead play warfarer, equip the mage spell to haste/Buff your pawns, the trickster spell to further buff them and the last one is up to you. you could swap to sorcerer and place a magic mine for your pawns to trigger, might be funny or go swap to a fighter setup and use the aoe taunt if you want to be a tank for your double buffed pawns. dont forget to heal your pawns as a mage (the healing spell is a core skill for mage) get the magic archer augment that buffs your pawns damage and defences and have fun playing pokemon
Trickster sucks. Just feels boring using that vocation, better suited to a pawn. The only argument people make for using trickster is just for the seeker augment. But then you add that augment to another vocation, and then trickster becomes useless again.....
Is pretty balanced, in DD1 think as Strider stat distribution here on DD2, i maxed out strenght playing warrior and maxed out magic being sorcerer now as MA i´m one shotting pretty much everything at level 90 (dragons is a 2 shots of Focused Fire (the purple rain of arrows).
Stats don't really matter your weapons account for most of your damage anyway, plus you can increase your stat gains with the dragonforged in end game. I've gone for a warfarer ice build there's stronger weapons out there but it still wrecks stuff just as fast.
you keep showing footage of using tempest shot wrong and it bothers me alot, you dont activate shoot twice and then activate again you pop it once in a good spot and slam light attack till you're out of stamina

Fighter is a monster, a terminator, he is a killing machine, he is leonidas reaping the sht out of monsters. You all play a fighter too offense. Just let him conter and you will throw all classes away .. even the cool looking spear hand. Fighter is best! He just need sunglases as a helmet 😎
honest opnion that people will hate.... if you are traveling faster in this game with those mobility skills, you are doing wrong, and you miss a lot of secrets
I mean it is still handy when you have cleared out an area completely and just need to get from point to point. Such as running from vermund to melve since there isn't an ox cart. Sure you can burn a ferry stone but personally I like to save them. Or ya know, you're on ng+ for the third time and just want to get to where everything is unlocked.

I could be wrong but from what I've seen the warrior and fighter taunts only increase the chance of you being targeted but the trickster taunt suffocating shroud it makes everything it touches come for you, and you'll be able to see what it hits thanks to its vfx

the only other useful thing is how abuseable the sphynx censer is, giving either 10, 100 or 1000 gold each hit on an enemy, if you tell your pawns to wait and get a haste buff on one of the little shield goblins you can just farm money off them with 0 risk cause they basically don't fight back and their shield makes them immune to the 1 point of damage you do deal

Use Visitant Aura and fly up above an enemy/group of enemies. Put you simulacrum in the air. I say you, because with the censer from the sphinx, each smack with it gives either 10, 100, or 1000 gold.
Actually the sphinx one can give you 50k of gold but it’s a low % chance. I did get it 3 times.
One thing I think is important to know for the trickster is the following:
Even if your standard attack (or all your attacks to be precise) don't do damage, you still should attack the enemies.
For keyboard I don't know, I play with controller on my PC 😅But the healing is a core skill so you have to reach... rank 2 maybe? so it's easy to unlock ^^
I think that's the important things for the trickster that I am aware of.
But i cant quik fot after the spread 😢
Oh well, im finding warfarer more fun anyway...
@@taznkid1730 It's because the window is absurdly short. Possible but the toming sucks.
Capcom Purpusly did not tell us all this cuz they wanted us to figure things out for ourselves.
kinda like a Hidden treasure of tricks.
@@iLegend777 its just added to your gold total. So no pouches
Trickster has an attack buff skill that also increases your pawns aggressiveness, couple that was celerity and it goes pretty hard
I only require detection from Trickster. And get absolutely crazy trying to follow the dings. Warmer... warmer... Hot... oops, cold. Backtrack.
I was like a Pavlovian dog with that ding 😂
It was driving me crazy since it doesnt take verticality into account, so unfortunately, ive taken to cheating by getting as close as i can, then reading fextralife description of the location 😢
I have taken more damage and died more times from fall damage than from any actual combat.
😂😂😂 Kids claiming theyve never died is beyond hilarious. Using a wakestone is still a death, 🤡s.
6:59 bro had somewhere to be! He was hauling out of Vernworth😂
If Trickster is boring, you can cast your incense buff and then remove your weapon to go punchy punchy.
It's actually quite effective against smaller enemies
Although rare, pawns do the meteoron spellhold too. You can melt literally any enemy with it; it's fantastic😀.
Time Stamps pls lads! :)
Just commented them :)

Tip for Trickster: Use Aromatic Rally/Resurgence after knocking a boss down with Dragon's Delusion and watch your pawns turn into a blender
Playing trickster in any fun manner requires the incense buff ability for your pawns. They’ll shred anything in seconds with that active.
for me i play warfare : 1. (you can switch in mid air) also i like Fighter ;D You can also switch from warrior to thief (with enough stamina) and after his movement skill and spent stanima, the thief's movemt speed combo continues because he regenerates stanima during this, so you can then go back to warriors etc
😜😅 Think about it, it make a lot of sense ;D # Trickster is also a cool option for afk relax fights with buffing teammate but 8 is to much for me ^^
The best class combo I've found is Warfarer Archer using the Medusan bow for much increased EXP.
Trickster has a weapon that gives 10-100-1000-50k gold on hit. Drops from a “riddle boss” chest
you know i realize that mage is realistically a better pawn but I honestly had way to much fun playing support. the fights take longer but you have so much to do that it really feels a bit more engaging than playing front line.
HUGE tip for warferer archers, use medusas bow for twice the xp 😊
I often even put team on hold to make sure i do the last hit.. Also take medusas bow to dragon forge it and upgrade the tempest shot skill for half the stamina use as well
Best part pf leveling trickster was learning the unarmed moveset. Only way I could stand to max the vocation. Curb stomping minotaurs! XD
Now that I'm in end game I pretty much always use thief because if you dash then slash you move faster then sprinting and have unlimited stamina
@@FelisImpurrator trickster is honestly just a flawed class due to the fact they are only useable with warfarer builds and most of their skills are kinda useless
the mega taunt s incredible cause unlike the warrior and fighter ones it actually works but if you lose your ghost then hey I hope you like being staggered cause trickster gear has no poise
the rally is great but thats all
every other active skill is either way to spesific to be reliable or its outright buggy
the walls only work sometimes and even when they do theres not much you can do with it
the floors are pretty much pointless cause you need the spirit scout to be able to use them properly effectively locking 2 skill lots for a highly situational option
seeing enemies through walls is useless cause theres no stealth mechanics
the sprit scout is cool for finding seeker tokens but thats basically all its really good for unless used with the floors that are to situational for
the bad targeting makes the latch throw a death sentence cause if you miss now you back to being stager locked
and to round it all out you can't do any damage at all
If they had half decent poise
could atleast do chip damage
or the pawn AI was better
then it would be a great class
but sadly in isolation it just underperforms at everything it does once having good use when paired with the ability to swap into a class that actually does something
You can jump scale from one wall to another. I’ve only seen this done on thief.
That spell hold tip is wild, I don’t play much sorcerer so I never would have known, but that might make me want to try some more
In warfarer you don't actually get less XP it just gets spread out and once something is fully maxed out the XP is spread out again at an even number between the ones that are not warfare once you max out warfare then it cancels out one out and it gets spread out again evenly so you never actually lose any XP it just evenly distributes it
So simple one but I really haven’t seen this talked about the advantage warfarer has in terms of equipment options currently I’m wearing the summoners crown with the dominator armor and the striders leggings and my defense and magic defense are really good
Because the warfarer has lower base stats than the individual classes. A warfarer can get more stength than a thief or more defense than a mage but the stats still fall short across the board on average.
I dont counter on fighter because I don't want to use a shield, but still use a 1h sword. Need that spellblade vocation from DDO.
That’s actually a great warfarer tip
Love the video! The breakdown of weapon skills for a mage pawn is great! Any chance we can get the same for other pawn vocations? pawn AI isn't so great on a pawn warrior with Arc of might IMO, they kinda go full throttle and dont manage stamina well even on a Calm inclination. Better off with mountain breaker or something.
Meteoron sucks cause most of the time the stupid mountains/hills block it. So you have to angle yourself to let it come in through the open pathways.... normally use maelstrom or whatever the gimp, compared to DD1, tornado is called.
I've managed to glitch warfarer. I somehow accidentally put my weapons away except for one and was still able to change to them
For me, trickster isn't that fun to play, but it's been the easiest class to kill drakes with. Mage, sorcerer, and archer/thief pawns and just kite the drake in circles while buffing your pawns attacks.
Trickster with 3 Warriors or 3 Thieves is absolutely ridiculous lmao just beware of anything flying
Thank you for pronouncing Warfarer properly. This eludes many a UA-camr.
Does trickster buff work on yourself if u use warfarer
there has yo be a great way to make money with the sensor that yhe sphinx give you since you dont do damage . like find a field with oxen or cows and just hit them over and over . does no damage but get them ns of money
Silly question but what's the pawn command to get your mage pawn to levitate up to a chest?
Go!
Sometimes you have to press it multiple times while looking at what you want the pawn to grab that's out of reach.
I've noticed that if they can reach it they'll volunteer to help
Whenever they volunteer to go get it, give them the "Go!" command.
You can steal ferrystones from some npc, one in the excavation site
Doesn’t the mage have spell hold as well??
Yes, it does.
9:19 can pawns learn to do this from its from its ai?
Even those aren't as overwhelmingly strong as they sound because they're scaled off base stats.
The best way to play trickster is to not play trickster.
Instead play warfarer, equip the mage spell to haste/Buff your pawns, the trickster spell to further buff them and the last one is up to you. you could swap to sorcerer and place a magic mine for your pawns to trigger, might be funny or go swap to a fighter setup and use the aoe taunt if you want to be a tank for your double buffed pawns. dont forget to heal your pawns as a mage (the healing spell is a core skill for mage)
get the magic archer augment that buffs your pawns damage and defences and have fun playing pokemon
No Dragon's Delusion on Warfarer.
@@Mare_Man Dragons delusion is kinda mid ngl.
I will advise people not to spend their RC on any pawn because they are more likely to jump to their death than get back that RC!!!!
This game i missing gear with special effects. It does not even have elemental coverage for weapons.
Trickster sucks. Just feels boring using that vocation, better suited to a pawn. The only argument people make for using trickster is just for the seeker augment. But then you add that augment to another vocation, and then trickster becomes useless again.....
Does anyone know the level up stat spread of playing Warfarer i just started it and cant seem to find that info anywhere
Celerity sucks tbh, pawns just stand around casting that instead of something that's helpful at that specific moment
I have two tips for trickster first magic archer has augments that buff your pawns second don’t play as a trickster
you keep showing footage of using tempest shot wrong and it bothers me alot, you dont activate shoot twice and then activate again you pop it once in a good spot and slam light attack till you're out of stamina
PLEASE get a life.
Thief Tip for all who dont feel like using both Meister skills you can time a dodge for Blades of the Pyre to also avoid damage

Fighters out here getting no love...
Kind of sad that we have to use a weapon skill just to traverse the landscape.
Fighter lower dps 😂😂😂😂
Let me tell you a secret...
Perfect block or vengeful slash... monster is down maister skill.. boss down.
Man this game way to easy for any of this shit
honest opnion that people will hate.... if you are traveling faster in this game with those mobility skills, you are doing wrong, and you miss a lot of secrets
When you need to go from Vernworth to Harve for the 5th time, you'll appreciate faster traversal.
Can't be bothered till they fix performance.
5 Curiosities of a main trickster:
1 - Few people know but the ashtray you get from Sphinx can give you 50k gold.
