I lost inches and weight with IF and then gained it back. After years of restriction and doctors telling me I gain weight because of “sneaky calories” I have tried to eat more. My heart is giving me issues so I have had to quit working out for the time being. But I really feel after year of no sleep, and not fueling my body like I should (I.e. weight watchers, obsessive workouts, no sleep, obsessing over food calories)my body is giving up on me😂. My cortisol is about non-existant. My doc said get sleep. No less than 7 hours. (For years I got 2-2.5 hours just so i could get up and workout, and even meal prep) I am trying to just EAT now. Not in all the time just every so often. I make myself eat breakfast now. I haven’t been doing this long, just the beginning of my new journey. Getting more sleep, eating more food, and not worrying about it.

This is very similar to what I did….skip breakfast and often lunch, workout fasted (or on black coffee.) It’s no wonder I was so tired all the time.

How does someone get this testing or work with you from another state?

This was really interesting!! For so many years I wouldn't eat breakfast and thought I was doing something good. Now I realize I was working against my body. In recovery from my eating disorder I've found that I feel better, my metabolism has improved and I have more energy, and more happiness, when I eat more throughout the day and eat what I actually want! It's so simple that we just need to listen to our bodies but it's hard with all of society's diet culture messages. That's why I love these videos- they are honest and real without the diet culture BS!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

Yep! It's just an RMR test or sometimes just referred to as Metabolic Test

My doctor says a metabolic rate in the 800s is very rare. (For eating disordered people) But I have seen this a few times on your channel. So I'm confused. Do you guys find it's rare too or do you see this a lot?

We see it pretty often, especially when someone is actively restricting when they come in.
