    Since I’ve discovered this page I feel so much better! I used to eat 1700 a day while cycling 1,5 hours , rock climbing 2 hours and worked 6 hours where I couldn’t sit down. Now that cut out the cycling and started eating more I actually lost weight and don’t binge as often anymore 🥰

    I found you on tiktok and am just seeing these UA-cam videos. This video in particular made me tear up. I have such a problem with binging but this really helps. I’ve been trying so hard to stop and eat healthy with the proper calorie amount. Thank you for educating me when everyone else has failed to and when the internet tells me to cut out major food groups. Really appreciate you and your channel 🙏💙

    I am 3 years out of treatment and have struggled ever since. Very recently I've been doing better than I thought I could ever be comfortable with, but was so nervous for the weight gain and weird metabolism bits. I have searched everywhere for someone that addresses metabolic changes with regards to bulimia and not just anorexia. You seriously don't know what this means to me, thank you so freaking much.

    have you ever heard anyone say that they enjoy binging and purging? Does planning it and going through with it give them excitement? I used to bp very often but I've been working on it with my therapist. I don't have a nutritionist though, and sometimes I just do it for the hell of it so I'm curious. Thanks!

      Everyone's experience with disordered behaviors is different, which is why we always encourage ED clients to have a full team of a therapist, a dietitian, and PCP.

    I binge and purge about 6 times a day and I don’t really keep anything done outside my b/0 and my weight is 36kg and height 5,2 do u know what my metoblic rate is
    What do u think the best way to recover for me x

      There were times it came up a bit, there were times it maintained and there were times it came down some. We didn't really focus on her weight much in this case since she was someone who we needed to manage those bingeing behaviors and that was the primary focus.

      All of the above, there were times it came up a bit, there were times it maintained and there were times it came down some. We didn't really focus on her weight much in this case since she was someone who we needed to manage those bingeing behaviors and that was the primary focus.

    Is moderate weight loss ever a goal that people can have after recovering from an eating disorder?

      This is a great question, it really depends on the person. For many, it can be a slippery slope to falling back into disordered habits.

    How did you get her statistics? Just a bloodwork?

      We have done a video on it but we use a Metabolic Test at our clinic! It's a breathing test that uses what's called Indirect Calorimetry to measure metabolic rate.

    I know you’ve mentioned that you don’t like your clients to calorie count to reach those calorie goals, but how do you help them make sure they are getting enough calories? Do you help them meal plan?

      Yes, we work with each client on developing a meal plan, then we use the body composition as a guide to make sure their meal plan is meeting their needs.

    i binge and "purge" but no vomiting - just exercise and restriction. im 173cm and 52kgs. Why dont i weigh more?? i eat around 2100 calories during a normal day. i dont know why i dont weigh more.i eat a lot of my calories from fruit.
