I imagine we'll be getting something like a disposal (or perhaps reloadable with a backpack) MANPAD support weapon, something like an FIM-92 Stinger or 9K38 Igla. Maybe it'll also come with an equivalent sentry turret for automated anti-air support. Some kind of heat-seeking fire-and-forget missile.

I only believe we took Troost once I get my 50 medals which i havent yet...
Just be patient it rolls out in batches to avoid deep frying the servers. I got mine days late on a previous major order and almost instantly for this one.
Not sure if there is a delay (certainly possible) but I got mine for the Troost about 5 hours ago. Just in case, also make sure that you're not at the Battle Medal cap of 250. For example, I was at 203 Battle Medals last night (I wasn't expecting Troost to get captured so fast) and so I only got 47 Medals from the Major Order this morning because of the cap.
I follow this game closer than any game on my consol xbox lol we really need helldivers 2 on xbone. The ODST divers are ready to drop at a moments notice! FOR SUPER EARTH!!!! FOR DEMOCRACY!!!

Lore-wise, one does sort of have to wonder why, if any of this was truly considered necessary, why 'Super Earth' doesn't use its proper military, instead of just sending out random mercenary-type people, 24/7.
Also, it's obvious there won't just be a third faction, but also a fourth, going by the galactic map. Left and right are covered, which means one faciton for above and another for below.
There’s most likely not gonna be a fourth faction, dealing with 4 factions at once would be too much
@@DivineOrange How? You don't engage all of them simultaneously, per mission.
If you're concerned about objectives, that's compeltely up to them to change the tempo of. They can even have two or three factions go up against one another - which would be more fun. They'd then be fighting one another, not united against us.
Although, let's be honest, the underlying narrative is that the humans are secretly responsible for the Terminid and Automaton stuff, as a political distraction.

I heard the deal Super Earth Command made with waffle house, so aerial waffles might not be as far off as you think.
I would just like to point out that The Illuminate are not new opponents. We have long known them from the first Helldivers. And it won't be anyone else. Just because their models, animations and scripts are already included in the game code.
Never under underestimate the power of the freedom waffles from waffle house. 'Waffle House Wendy' needs to be at the front lines she can deflect chairs in mid flight.
