This mission is best done in a group but there's too much misinformation so players are getting kicked for going off solo even though it's helping the overall goal on this specific mission.

Every time I watch someone play on level 7, it's very claim. When I play, it's pure chaos and hordes of enemies nonstop.
The trick is you have to kill all the bugs/bots before they call in reinforcements. If you don’t you get overwhelmed and the. You have multiple enemy calls in coming until you clear them all out.

The dev say they nerf bug but after play multiple times i dont see bug spawn was nerf .. the stupid thing is bug spawn from the gorund infront of u even there was no bug breach 😂😂😂
Last night me and my friend just 2 of us doing mission lvl 7 , at the end of mission suddenly we got overwhelmed by tons of bug 😂😂 .. its was so many and we cant even defend the evec area .. the area was crowded with bug breach and bug patrol .. in the end map full of hunter , bile titan and charger 😂😂😂.
It was fun game but it was stress also try to survive because of tons of sample with us .

A UA-camr did alot of testing and stated that if your team seperates you can get upto 4x the spawns if your all running around solo. Sometimes one person may not even see any spawns while the other teammates are suffering because they all spawned on them.
Within 15 seconds of landing I am overwhelmed by chargers and hunters. At no point do I even get time to look at my radar. Three times in a row just got murdered repeatedly. He’s making this look like a walk in the park. I’m clearly doing something terribly wrong but I’m honestly not sure what.
Hunters really do feel far more powerful than just about any other bug besides the Titans and Stalkers.
Shriekers are pretty strong too. Not too tanky, but hard to hit. Also they have a lethal corpse charge
@@qwertyram4598 I would really hope that that last part, at least, is just a physics bug.
It doesn't make much sense that they deal like 1/5 HP bar of damage to a light armor player when they're actively trying to kill them, but become a guaranteed instakill when they die and fall over.
I hate hunter the most annoying then any other bug ... I can fight 4-5 charger but i cant fight with 5-6 hunter that keep slowing me .. even broodmother not annoying like hunter 😂😂 .
The problem with hunter was its high damage , fast attck and keep slowing .. it can hit multi time when he slow u and some time when u press stim its not responding 😂😂 .
200 hours of playing i die more from hunter more then any other enemy

Ive never crashed using it in solo, but put me in a squad with it... R.I.P
From my experience, it does crash the game sometimes, but as long as you keep moving and switching weapons it doesn't happen too often.

Hmm I didn't know that was a thing. I've never crashed using arc before. For me, the game has only ever crashed when joining a lobby or during the end mission screen

From what I've learned trying to find out why it crashes, Arc weapons will usually crash when you've more or less hit 200% accuracy. In theory, you could use it on short missions as you won't rack up that much accuracy unless you fight hordes of enemies since the "bounces" count in hit count and shot. Shooting 1 and hitting 3-5 increase the accuracy % past 100. Theoretically you could use it to fight hordes and just spray a Sickle in the sky to mitigate the accuracy count.
I only use it if it’s an in map pick up weapon. I still run the shotty and impacts with the auto pistol

@@trh3xa174good suggestion. And that makes sense, because on lower difficulties (where I’m using the arc thrower less and there are less enemies), it never crashes for me. But on higher difficulties where I’m constantly spamming the AT at big mobs, it does sometimes crash.
There's a setting you can tick to have samples permanently visible on the HUD, btw.

Jump pack needs a buff. It needs to recharge faster.!
or a rework where it has limited fuel that you can get from resupply, but you can use it whenever you want
Cooldown def needs to be quicker for how small of a jump it gives.

Ah yes, 19:52 the EXACT reason I never used the jump pack after those 2 times. The cool-down is too long given you only get 1 jump banked, the velocity/jump height/momentum is inconsistent and hunters will auto-aim themselves rubber band style onto you mid-jump (you’re or theirs) to tackle your legs so jump or run you get slowed and have lost 1/3 HP.
Yeah it’s weird, arcthrower one shots hunters only if it’s in the face now. Takes two if it’s a body/limb hit. Can’t remember if thats always been the case since day 0 of the game but in hindsight it’s made me more conscious on where I’m aiming my shots with the circle reticule in 3rd person mode
I'm pretty sure they put out a stealth update recently, because I've found super samples at the dirty super rock.
I found some last night at the dirty rock that I ID as the bait but just happened to walk by wasn’t even guarded like they normally are
Happened weeks ago for me too, so i guess it was always possible, never had it happen on helldive tho, since there are 6 samples, so i assume it only works on 7 (maybe 8), since there are less overall, so i guess the game can fit them around the dirty one
I tried this during the oshaune defense and it was awful, had an average of 10 commons and 3 supers on the map, does map size have a factor in it? Was I just getting unlucky or is it planet specific?
How do you know if there are still samples on the location? Does the map tell you by changing the colour of it?

Yeah
The reason you didn’t see many bile titans is because you spent the entire mission away from the objective. Your mission “heat” only rises when you’re near objectives, and so you had very low heat, which meant few titans spawned.
This doesn't really work for me. By the time my Arc Thrower and Jetpack arrive a ton of Terminids have already spawned. I wasn't able to get a lot of green and orange samples consistently because I had to fight dozens of smaller bugs plus 2-3 Chargers at almost every POI which was very time consuming. It kinda seems to works for super samples but I only got to do this type of mission 3 times. After that the game wouldn't offer it any more. Also the current Terminid planet with a defend order seems to be really bad to farm samples because the canyons limit your movement a lot.

min/max mostly applies to map size. this planet has 3 map sizes. big, medium and small which I cover a bit at the end of the vid 19:40
Did they silently patch this? Just did 3 of these missions (yes, exactly like the video) and the samples were not like this...

It's only on 2 or 3 specific POI that you get the 7+ rare in one spot.
If I can recall, the first is the "crash site" which will always have 2 common along the crash path, and 7+ rare on the side of the crash path.
Another is 2 variation of the crate door (can be blue or orange) that is together with a bubble dome house.
One type has a broken door with the 7+ rare inside (like the video example near the end)
Another type has a flooded door, but the rare will be scattered around the solar panels (also around 7+ rare)
These are the ONLY spots I know that have increased spawn rates of rare samples.
Oh and it must be the 15min mission, the icon is a shield with an arrow.
It also MUST be a defend planet. (Meaning when selecting, you see the words defend on top of the planet)

I am maybe stupid but how can you RUN and use your map ? For my part, when i use my map, my character just can't run ?
It may depend on your control settings - One of them determines which keys you use for your map.
There's a control setting that binds the map movement to either your mouse or the keyboard (wasd), controller is similar but I don't know the difference as I dont use.
You need to set the setting to move map on mouse only.
Edit: it's not a keybind but a general setting on map functionality.
How do you know there are more around you? Several times you said “oh there’s more” and kept searching the poi? Thanks!
Diamonds on mini map = samples. Kites on mini maps = no samples

I don't know if it's this planet, but I was having a bad time of it. Lvl 4 & 5 were tiny island maps(almost no poi). 6 & 7 were bigger but insanely craggy, no line of sight, couldn't find Rare sample poi's.
I half wonder if it's somewhat nerfed or just this specific planet's layout, or just really bad luck for me today.

It only crash if you use it a certain number, it happens more on those 40min+ missions for me at leadt, i think it hits a hard limit somewhere and just crashes.
If you are mostly running away from stuff or doing short missions it shouldn't crash
Just did a couple runs but could only extract half. Every 10 seconds 2 bug breach spawns making it impossible to grab the samples safely.. I take out 2 chargers 2 more spawn from the breaches. Maybe I'm just unlucky :(
He used stun grenades to create openings . Also , you can run through smoke plants and the bugs will lose you (as long as they are some distance away) .Also , jetpack . Every time he used it to get out of a dead end , the bugs had to double track .
But yeah , its harder then he makes it look
Use smoke stratagems. Smoke grenades, stealth armor.
I'm confused. Just done one of these missions and all we got were 10 common and 3 supers. Absolutely no rare. Never seen it happen before were there isn't even a whole class of samples missing...

Yeah, I've just got level 20 and want some super samples so I can upgrade ship, specifically i need 10 of them so I might gives this a go to boost my supplies a bit and then go back to doing missions. Although, I'll just die lots as I haven't got the stamina boost yet

This is odd... When I try to do this solo on lower difficulty, there are swarms of enemies right of the bat and I am being attacked by groups of like 50 enemies from all sides and unable to move... honestly IDK how you do that to have only a handful of enemies there at the same time...
It takes probably around 10 to 20 runs to get a single video like this. Doing anything solo in this game above diff 4 is practically impossible. We are watching the best run of several. But it makes for some good content either way.
Best to ignore the single player only boast and just try this with a full team if you want any chance.
@@thevarekai007 Yeah but you see, if I go solo there are less enemies but they are still there... the moment I find randoms to go in with, they rush main objective, screw samples and everything else and if its not my lobby, most of the time they just kick me right away if I ask to do the rest... Sometimes diff 7 to 9 are super easy in 2, 3 and 4 players and sometimes it is impossible to move on full squad so it seems there might be something that makes it unballanced... Also sometimes on diff 8 to 9, there is 1 tank per fight and sometimes like 20 tanks start to drop in a period of a couple minutes... Every second dropship is a tank and unless we run 3 quasar cannons in the team, there aint no way to deal with it...
I need samples and I havent found anyone to help me get it except one NA duo that was playing for samples but most people play mindlessly... And about bug missions, sometimes there are no Titans, sometimes there are 5+ Titans at the same spot... which is worse than tanks cuz they move faster and I cant really go around them and tripple tap them into weakspot to kill them like I can do to a tank...

nope, map size matters. if there's a circle of water around the map it will have very few samples

Yeah you can half charge it to be that fast, after awhile u get used to the timing.

I always get overrrun like right away and never recover every time I try this strat, even now that I have all the same strategems. Usually chased down by hunters into the chargers and bile titans start spawning and then just die over and over
Am I the only one who's jetpack keeps bugging out? I'll use it once or twice then for the rest of the mission it breaks and I can't use it anymore no matter what I do. Dropping/picking up and dying doesnt fix it..

It's a combination of three things
1.) He's running down hill
2.) Scout armor has a speed bonus
3.) This map is only 100 meters wide so you move faster
Scout armor, plus FoV at max makes you deceptively move faster but you don't actually move any faster.

Been trying this, small map - check, 15 min timer - check but in each case just seeing common and super samples no rare. Wait a sec there may be two map sizes within this mission category, the slightly larger one may be the sample farm to look for.

Just confirmed it as I found a slightly larger map than I had been on previously and it has 24 rare on it, pity I didn't make it out alive.🤣
this is not working as soon i spawn on the planet, i get over run by enemies.On your video there are like 2-3 ennemies. When i spawn on the planet there are like 30 enemies at least with heavy armored bugs. i cannot just go chilling to get samples. What am i doing wrong. I don't know about console but if you're minimap keybind is not the same as your sprint key, you'll be able to sprint

Right of screen when viewing map. It literally lists the sample count in each mission
If you mean at a point of interest, it has the diamond symbol on the map if there's still samples
Point of interest looks like diamond on map when it has sample. After they all collected , it changes to a different symbol

Same, seen a few videos following this tactic but with various loadouts. But no matter how i go about it, I get breaches constantly. Just a few minutes ago i did a run, and as i came out of the pod a breach was opening as soon as i wanted to call my support weapon. After it came down and I had picked it up, another one opened. So yeah maybe I'm just super unlucky, but this just isn't working on my end.

I always feel like I'm limited by common samples. I have 100+ rare and 15+ super, but also just 20+ common samples. They really aren't as common as the name makes it out to be. Or more like, how many common samples ship modules need does not match how rare they actually are to come by unless you're actively grinding for them.
Just speed run a few low level missions if you are that desperate. Most people have the opposite issue.
People farm commons in eradicate missions (fast even now and always have around 7 around the map ) or on Trivial difficulty . You need a lot of currency to unlock the battle passes (a specially , if you grab armors from super shop at same time). Running around POI's on trivial , gives you same as on higher level(currency and medals dont scale with difficulty) , and around 10-15 commons each time (which can be done super fast since trivial missions are almost instant)
Go in Level 1 missions and run around the map pinging it using the scout armor and you will get on average 15 common samples and then go complete the main objective and extract. Super easy and you can complete in 15 minutes or less
Ran this about 10 times find nothing but greens on 7 8 and 9 sad😢 nerfed?
still can't find anyone who shows how to do these solo common/rare sample run and actually accomplish the mission.
I get why you ran with the stamina booster but the localization confusion booster has been helping keep bugs off my back so much in these farms. Just my personal preference.

Hmm it seems like they just revived the 15 minute evac mission (the big map with lots of areas of interest).
How does one know where the samples are?
In this defence mission type (shield with arrow objective), sometimes you see flags in the distance, those are generally POI.
Another is to get used to reading the map. Buildings are easy to spot on the map. And buildings are generally POI or objectives.
I'm guessing this mission only shows up on defense campaigns because I'm not seeing it on any planets currently. They're probably rebalancing it huh?
only on defense campaigns and I doubt they'll rebalance it considering it was complained about endlessly for about a month. ya never know though, I'd just queue into it if you need the samples when it swings back around.
also as of update 1.000.103 unlimited grenades still work so it makes it sooo much easier...

It does sometimes feel like this game gates very significant quality-of-life behind stratagems a bit too often (By that I mean, abilities without which the game is still 100% playable, but less fun and interesting).
It certainly adds to the difficulty (whether it does so in a fun way is another matter), but it also makes the game really hard to balance. The jetpack is a great example, because it can be either fairly useless or completely game-breaking based on the terrain and enemy composition, and neither you nor the developers can fully know which it'll be until you drop in with it. It would be much easier and more flexible to design the maps if you could just assume that people will have it.
Or the shield, for another example. It's kind of insane how much more manageable/strategic the gameplay against enemies with status effects (hunters, spitters) and conditional instakills (devastator rockets, charger contact damage, stalker tongue launch) feels when you have it. The difference is so marked that I think the hunter's status effects/random headshots and the charger's wack hitboxes might actually be fine as-is, if the shield was a base-kit ability.

It looks like this method has been nerfed, the maps are now about 1/4 the size with 1/4 the samples, at least on Oshaune.
Still good for farming super rare samples imo because they seem guaranteed and you can just clear the mission to get it done quick.
nah, the maps have varying sizes. the one that's whole perimeter is surrounded by water has next to no samples.
@@OhDough Oh yeah, you're right. I managed to find a bigger map. the first 4 times I tried to find the retrieve personnel mission I only found the little island.
Man I just did this mission and my idiot teammate called in extraction when I was so far away and couldn’t make it. He said he just wanted the super samples but I had like 30 simple sample and 27 rare smh.
I know it sucks, but some of us don’t have to worry about regular samples. Super samples are most important.

Complete missions.
Stick with completing all three so it counts towards the liberation of the planet and you get more each time.
On the field, medals can be found in bunkers, storage crates, and those light beacon containers.
... Also, complete personal objectives. I think it gives you 15 medals every time you complete a personal objective.
Same way as you farm super credits. Find a Trivial level map that doesn't contain water, explore to find all POI, find caches that contain medals. Once a map that satisfies you has been found, drop, collect all medals and Alt-F4. The mission seed will remain and you can replay it again as many times as you need.
i tried, every single time, there was 0 rare samples on the map, only the supers, and commons

Nerf hunters? I don't think its necessary. People complain when they ignore the hunters and don't bother to kill them with their primary or secondary. The defense missions seem good for sample farming though.

The arc thrower is so OP now.! The fact that it can take down anything in the game and you never need ammo is just crazy!
Didn’t get why they nerf the railgun when you needed ammo and it needed to be reloaded after each shot and needed ammo.
Now you have a weapon that is good vs everything in the game and doesn’t need ammo. SMH
Not only that but you also need to stand still for 3 seconds to line up a charged shot, so you're killing just one bug each 6 seconds or something + the time you need to reposition
With the arc thrower I can stand still in the front of a breach in difficult 8 and just kill everything

It's funny how this worked for you. I took like for like exactly the same as you, pluse gear not once did you get attacked. But yet breaches were none stop happening for no reason. I was playing pure stealth and still getting Detected so dose not work mate.
