A detail that I think gets understated is Norm's response to pressure from the higher ups. "It's funny. How do you threaten someone who doesn't care about anything," is a wild line for someone we know cares for things. He cares for his family, the truth, and in his way, he cares about making things right.
Haven't watched the video yet but gotta say this, I found your channel thanks to schnee, and I'm so glad he mentioned you, just like him your analysis videos are so deep and I can't wait to see more of your content Edit: I watched the video now, immediately hit the like button, amazing analysis. Can't wait to see more.
I didn’t consider that aspect of Norm. That he was always a manager and didn’t know it. That there is a bigger rat maze on top of the other rate maze. I liked Norms story for showing Vault life and the conspiracy in action. I ‘got’ it, but didn’t fully ‘get’ it until this video. Thanks!
This is a powerful channel. I know you have a fair few other characters to get to, but I'm looking forward to you exploring Bud. That tiny flash of sadness & guilt when Barb offers up the other vaults to the executives... ...it haunts me.
Whoa. I have not seen this show either, but damn. Your analysis is good enough to tempt me to watch things I wasn't interested in. The argument (and angry schnee) was hilarious, and the theme at the ending... holy shit.
You have accessed a part of the brain for media analysis that I sure as hell don't have access to. I am envious. Thank you for sharing your gifts, a-holes.
I think your insights are spot on, to the extent that I look forward to rewatching Fallout sometime and applying the lens your video formed for me. I also think your editing, including the art of "you" talking, are very well done. Great video. Subscribed, with relish.
I find this interesting as fr some reason when the story didn't focus on the main three I was invested in Norm's storyline and hoping he could overcome vault life and find a place outside of it. His conclusion I was really confused by but this video helps articulate his overall arc and place in the narrative. Kind of tragic putting it in this perspective and I really like that, I hope that he can get some kind of subveison but I know it probably won't end in a good way. Great job! Also fun cameo by schnee!!
I wanted to comment something insightful but I keep getting stuck in an existential crisis loop so I’ll just say “great vid! Keep it up” as a sacrifice to the algorithm gods
There's a channel called Lindsay's Fallout that's recently done a fair few videos on this show that I really really think you could enjoy watching, or at least will come across some really interesting points that you can add to your own perspective however you see fit
I love your perspective on these characters and their stories. I hope you eventually take a look at the games as well because many of the characters, especially from the Interplay and Obsidian games are extremely deep wells to be mined for this kind of analysis.
I thought about this watching this video. How would Norm think of what his father has done? At first I think he would hate it but part of me thinks he might side with his father. How would Lucy react when both family members are against her. Might not happen but is a possibility
"Rats don't get title cards." Ouch. I've always found Norm the most intriguing of the four main characters, thanks for putting your finger on why.

All of these you’ve made have been the best videos on the show, glad to find this one early!
You sure you 2 aren't related? The blooper is so funny

Great video as usual, but I loved the schnee collab and blooper!
I'm the old Norm, I want a normal beer.

Especially her video on Norm, since you're struggling a little bit to comprehend him rn it might help out a little idk

I love this video! Thank you so much❤
Me: oooh new video
Squircle: Anyway So I'm going to talk about a show you haven't watched
Me: aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
You know how to fix that...
To be fair, 3 of her 4 videos are on this show
guess you gotta watch it now!
@@benish3890 oh yeah weird i wonder why she deleted her arcane stuff
At first I thought the “clever boy” was going to be Norm, but it turns out it was schnee. 😂😂😂
>short
>Refers to him as boy
Lol
Great work again, I wanted to see Norm as a main character and now I have to agree with you....
Was Schnee telling to go back to work in Maximus comment section foreshadowing?
wooow, that read is amazing,
title is goofy lol
schneee and squircle 🤭
