I came to your channel for the first time. It was nice to be able to see a part of the lives of Singaporeans. Thank you for sharing. I will come again.
Another great tour, thank you! Why do some videos receive a thumbs down? Many of us really appreciate the time and effort you make to upload for us. Keep up the great work.
Thanks RV ☺️ well perhaps they were expecting some other type of video 😅 no matter I will continue to put out stuff that you all will appreciate. Thanks again for your constant support 😊
Very nicely taken footage of the food center. Like it! May I ask you how did you keep the horizon level of the video so stable . Did you have your pocket 2 mounted on a stabilizer or hand held?
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Thank You for your reply. I owned the DJI Pocket first Gen, I set mine on FPV mode. May be that's why I am not getting the Horizon Axis locked effect. Another question, How did you walk so smoothly with out any bouncing effect while you were filming?
You would need to attach the pocket to a extension stick. It will add further stability to your rig. Holding just the pocket in your hand for long periods of time will cause you to dip
Thank you for sharing, great video as always, lovely to see the different part of the world, we are currently minus degrees, imagine that Alan.....enjoy the rest of the weekend. Stay well all of you and enjoy the sunny Singapore. Oh so nostalgic seeing boxes of sweet rice for sale, oh, so sweet!
Hope your home is nice and warm. Thr lowest I been through was minus 27 degrees. I don't think I want to go through that again 😂 a couple more neighbourhood videos will be coming over the week to keep you warm 😉
I would actually be in Singapore right now but due to Corona it was not possible. Therefore, Singapore remains a dream destination. I don't know if I'll ever make it to Singapore. But I do know one thing: thanks to your videos, I will still see part of Singapore. Thank you
You will. The pandemic can't last forever. Even if it takes 2 to 3 years eventually we will beat the virus. Till then, keep the Singapore dream alive 😊
Its a good question Drew. In the beginning of the video, I was at Hong Lim Complex which is an HDB estate that was built in the 1970s. Many of the residence are seniors now. Hong Lim is at the periphery of Raffles Place (part of our CBD). Most of the crowd that visits Hong Lim Food Centre at lunch are the office workers in the CBD. As to where the youngsters hang out? I honestly don't know🤣

The DJI Pocket 2 has a function called tilt lock which locks in the horizon axis. So it's really doing all the work. I just walk with the camera 😂

Wow! It's a huge and diverse food court!😊 Every store is full of energy because it's lunchtime!😉😊
The best time!!😁🌼🌺
Lunch time is always the best time 😁⌚
the hakwer centres at CBD is far from the peak, prior that u can't even get a sit during lunch time.
Its true. I used to have to makan at 11am or at 2pm onwards if I wanted to sit. If not, then best to tabao =D
video yang sangat bagus dari daerah CBD Alan. Selamat berjaya 👀
很浓的过年气氛
What's the mrt station going there?
Closest MRT would be Chinatown (Purple/Blue line)
Mostly older and seniors, where the younger folks are hanging out at?
