The street markets are amazingly busy, yet you said they will be busier in the evening. I couldn't imagine how people will get around when it's that crowded. It's sad for the indoor traders that there are not many customers for them now.
Jim, I thought of filming Chinatown in the afternoon to see whether I could have a nice stroll, with vendors getting their stalls ready, and I was surprised. The Street Market was expanded with 2 more streets pedestrianised. I was lucky to film Mr Tung the artist, with his completed masterpiece 20:10. It was truly an amazing piece of art.
Singapore is 57 years old, unlike China which has a long history of thousands of years. We are a multi racial nation and the government here supports Chinatown, Little India and Geylang Serai. Thanks for watching.
