@@nikitaastakhov9252 please elaborate.
I'm seriously interested.
Probably guy who killer the most combatants was Hans-Ulrich Rudel. He destroyed 519 tanks, 70 landing crafts, 800 military trucks, 4 armored trains, 150 artillery pieces, 11 dogfights won, one cruiser, one destroyer and even one battleship. He did those during his 2530 flying missions while piloting a dive bomber. Soviets were never able to shoot down his plane in a dog fight even tho it was a flying brick in maneuverability compared to soviet fighters. One time AA fire shot his right leg off and after he got back to base he got a prosthetic leg designed for flying and was back at it again kinda becoming a cyborg nazi. Also the guy had so many medals they invented new medals just to give to him. Too bad the guy was a nazi fanatic and allies just let the dude go after war to live happily in Argentina.
Or the guys with mgs on dday
The Asian guy was most impressive tho..
It's one thing to shoot from a safe position in the far back and completely different to be missing a hand and combating an incoming force all by yourself..
Yup. You go into close battle you want to have Gurkhas with you. Oppose them - better have your will drawn up. Words like courage, bravery, tenacity don't come close to describing the Gurkhas and their ability to go all berserk on your ass if you get in their way. Plus, they have the coolest knives (unless you're on the receiving end).
Its said that he also drew his Gurkha knife, stabbed it into the dirt in front of his trench, and shouted something to the equivalent of "Not one of you shall make it past this mark" and he made sure to keep his word.
Hardcore stuff.
he also did that with a right handed bolt action rifle left handed and he managed to repeatedly reload and fire the rifle, if i had lost a fucking hand and had no pistol id have just said fuck it and stuck grenades in my coat

@@tacitusthehistories5417 not an easy feat however considering the temperatures were as low as -40C, had at best 6 hours day light and the light you had was not very bright so any claims of easy targets is really just that, mere claims, the reality is that no target in those conditions was an easy target.

Then of course Finland in November through March there were probably more nights with heavy cloud cover and no moonlight or stars to help light the night. @@MusicFromSky still he was bombed by aircrafts, artillery and hunted for days by snipers and whole Soviet division. Such a waste of resources to kill only one man!
There is question to number of his “confirmed” kills though. As the Soviet journals ( at positions where Hayha was operating) reports were not that impressive. Many times there were zero loses for the day beside soldiers who got cold and Hayha reports over 10 kills. (Needles to say that he always operated alone) I think this sort of enlargement is fare for every Ace sniper or a pilot in WW2. Propaganda wants to create a myths about its army . @@groundhoppingwlkp3622 very cool legend. I guess from Finnish memoirs. In a nutshell though, the Polish army planned to hold out in the Carpathian Mountains (the Romanian Bridgehead area), however after the Soviets attacked Poland from the East, the generals decided to evacuate the army into Hungary and Romania to continue the fight elsewhere in a more reorganised manner. The Polish Army held out relatively well especially in Warsaw which held out repeated German attacks until it decided to give up the city to avoid civilian deaths. Also the German casualties were much higher than Hitler had expected which caused him to postpone his invasion of France. The Polish Army did also counterattack and took control of a few German towns in September 1939, but withdrew once it was clear they would be encircled. Check out on wikipedia battles such as Westerplatte, Wizna, Bzura, Warsaw for some more information :)

Two of my great grandads were serving in Gurkha Indian regiments (now British) fighting against Japanese in Burma during ww2. One of them was shot around stomach few times but managed to survive. Since my grandmother wasn't even born, if he'd died there then I wouldn't be here right now. After recovering fully, he was sent back to the battlefield and survived the war. It's nice, that someone mentioned Czechoslovakian soldiers in WWII, because we took a part in it. ❤
Make another, more detailed video about Ustashe! They were the biggest monsters of the war, but people generally dont know about their evil.
For sure!
yes, that should be good
@@TheFront ty. I love your channel dude
sorry buddy but ustashe was nothing compared to UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army). Now those were some incredibly cruel and brutal people who can pretty much rival attila the huns hordes.
A Tito je bog i svetinja, komunisti su stvarno pravi za širiti laži i propagandu🖕🖕🖕
My Great Grandfather had 7 confirmed kills, and 3 possible. He killed a German sniper point blank who was pinning down his squadron. He killed two Germans who were trying to flank his squad during the attack on St.-Mere-Eglise. He blew up a German 40mm cannon with a bazooka, killing the 4 Germans who were manning it in the process. He had 3 possible kills when sniping from the top of a building, but he had no way to go down and confirm they were actually dead, so he never knew for sure if he got them.
Respect 🙏
Nice man
My great uncle knew one of the first airborne rangers, but I dint think they where named that at the time
@@actually_a_circle rangers weren’t “airborne” till later on

Highly appreciate both the mention and pretty good pronunciation in the Czechoslovak segment. Keep up the work!
There should've atleast been a mention of Lyudmila Pavlichenko. She's the most successful female sniper in history (309 confirm kills).
Rishan Aftab more than 300 nazis fell by her gun :D
they won’t because she is russian lol
Interesting vid. Probably should just clarify it as confirmed military kills though
We must realize that Sidoranko is who we have to thank for half of the clones lines
Yesterday I was watching the movie Paths of Glory (which is a ww1 movie) and I was wondering how accurate the Court Martial scene was
The Front:Best solders of all major nations.
Italy:hey where am I?
The Front:I said all MAJOR NATIONS.
Poland:It okay Italia they admit us as major fighters next time.
The video is for best soldiers, not best comedians.
Don’t forget Simo Hayha did all without a scope so that he couldn’t be spoted by the glare and shot at really long distances.
Rudel, Hartmann, all the tank commanders with 100+ tank kills etc. Bad research bro
I expected Léo Major to be featured in this video.
100% Leo Major or riot.
That Soviet sniper got more kills than me playing cod for 1 year sheesh
Basically you suck at COD
Audie Murphy also suffered heavy PTSD and became a drug addict but stopped doing them after a locking himself in a hotel room for a week or two. And then he became an actor but hated being the focus of the story. He wanted the stories told, yes but not for his glory but the men he fought beside him and died
Pleas dont forget Hartmann Erich , a german Pilot with 352 confirmed kills with BF109.
Best pilots from each fighting nation (fighter pilots with most kills/victories would surely make an interesting video)
Gunther Prien sank the battleship HMS Royal Oak with his U-boat killing 835 and went on to sink another 30 allied ships, I feel like he deserves an honorable mention.
Probably everyone on this list should be someone who was a pilot or in the navy. Sinking a ship would account for more kills than anyone on this list.
@@cp1cupcake pilots were in squadrons so it was more of a team effort. You can credit the guy who's plane actually got the hit but without the rest of the squadron taking fire away from him and covering him he probably never would have got the hit. A submarine captain who's crew is essentially there to run the boat and occasionally man deck weapons has much more personal involvement in my opinion. That's why when you talk about tank aces you're always talking about the commander and not the crew.
My great grandfather was a machine gunner on the eastern front. He rarely talked about his experience. He said two machine gunners went through a truckload of ammo in a day. When the soviets were advancing they ended up crawling trough piles of dead soldiers getting mowed down, but ammo ran out before soviets did. After the war he wouldn't even tolerate kids playing with toy rifles around his home.
Well, you missed one. His name was Ralph Brouillard and he was a cowboy from LaMarque Texas. He was first a member of the Marine Corp., then the First Special Service Force (The Devils Brigade) and last in the 82nd Airborne. He killed with a rifle, commando knife, and explosives. He had a confirmed kill of over 700 Germans and Italians. Four or five by firearms, 75 with a Sikes Fairbairn commando knife and the rest by explosives. Oh yeah, and one that he poured gasoline on and burned alive.
This'll be damn interesting. Cheers
I love that show!
Audie Murphy was in Italy, and Southern France. not Normandy. Hans Rudel killed more Russians as a German pilot than any sniper, if you include tankers and sailors, as did several other pilots, like Hartman and Barkhorn. This is full of errors.
The bombardier of the Enola Gay got a large body count, too.
Erich Hartman was such a boss even when handing himself in he still couldn't handle himself and took out some Russian fighters plains scouting the area.
I had no idea that wartime sniping was a score keeping sport.
Nicely informative.
It is also said simo killed around 200 Russians with his smg.
Everyone who knows the peculiarities of shooting from a smg will laugh at this statement.
@@jangrosek4334 lets just go see simos own diary and lets see how many kills he actually got
@@tomi9562 he wrote 687 kills in his diary

"From each fighting Nation": there are no chapters for more than half of them, including major players such as Italy, France and Japan. Ridiculous.
Hetzenauer was not the German soldier with the most kills, this was, in fact Hans-Ulrich Rudel.
I think Heinrich Severloh „the beast of omaha beach“ was the german soldier with the most kills...
@@der_paule9816 No, you saw that on Tik Tok. Severloh killed about 600-700 people, what Rudel did was in the realm of 3000 men, maybe even more.
God damn Tik Tok!
You're probably right 👍🏻 I just read about him. The 3000 kills will probably be right
The video is about soldiers, not airmen
For my money the British guy is the best, anti-sniper sniper, crate of scope-trophies... Come on, that's insane.
The guy was clearly a genuine psychopath with a licence to kill, but it's extremely impressive.
Clearly this was about ground combat where there is the possibility of one-on-one conflict. The hunter actually also being hunted and the target being, at least sometimes, "selected". Not just hurling ordinance into to the scary darkness.
I don't know how "enthusiastic" Bruno Sutkus was, or wasn't, in joining the Wehrmacht, but the fact is, he didn't volunteer, he was drafted. He was unique among snipers, in that the complete logs of his sniping survived the war. They are reproduced, in facsimile, in his autobiography, which I've read.
An idea for canadian soldier would be leo major the dude who captured a city by himself
