He captured 92 or 93 all at once by himself after killing one and had many kills when he liberated the Dutch town Zwolle on his own again and on Dday he killed 4 SS troops when he lost the eye that was right after he captured a German Half-track on his own, and then refused to turn it over to the Brits b/c it was for his French Candian troop lol. The guy has to have at least 20 kills plus. If anyone finds his Confirmed kill number please post I can't find it. I can't believe he isn't more famous in Canada the Guy was a Machine and only passed away in 2008. He served in Korea as well where he was just as big of a Bad Ass! So he lost the eye early and did all crazy stuff with only one eye!

and why could he not THROW the bundle of grenades down on a rope, when just before it reaches the ground (you can calculate the height) it pulls the goddamn SAME pin on the taught rope ??????
@@oddballsok They are defending a place without continuous supplies, having a human weight of worth grenades would cost way more grenades, than a human + grenades and when supplies are limited you don’t have much options. He sacrificed between the first/ second wave of Japanese push, he would not known if his comerades might need every single extra grenades they can get their hands on. There were already many accounts that small brigades or even companies of soldiers wiped out due to lack of supplies. I am not saying that he should have done it but amidst the an active battle when there are people actively trying to kill you, thinking logically is the first thing you want but always the last thing you have.

Very minor point- The flag used for the Chinese soldier in the thumbnail did not exist during WWII.
The "five stars" flag is that of the People Republic of China, established in 1949; the communist troops did very little combat against the Japanese. In fact, after the war Mao said the Japanese had nothing to feel sorry for invading China, otherwise he would not have won the civil war and took over the mainland.
@@Seele2015au - I am surprised Mao did not say to the Japanese "thanks for the preliminary cull, i will take it from here".
But the communists were always going to win simply because of the era they were in and pretty much unstoppable worldwide wherever communism had a foothold.
The thing is, the ROC government hasn't really acknowledged Japan's war crimes, whereas the PRC has, not saying the PRC is the best government, I'm just saying

Audi Murphy on one day while sitting upon a burning tank killed 20 Germans. This was just one day, Audie fought through Italy to Germany with many incidents of great valor and enemy casualties, I am sure his count was pretty high during his stay in the Army. Received every available medal from the allies and us culminating in the CMH by the age of 19.

Hearing the Chinese part gave me a flashback of this movie adaption of the "800" men from the battle of Shanghai, I dunno if it was accurate but they've shown that the soldier who sacrificed himself was apart of a machine gun crew who were all fed up by the Japanese who were almost breaching the building. Not only he has racked up the kills... But he did those along with his comrades of his crew. Completely annihilating the only chance the Japanese could have done to breach the warehouse.
Also lastly, In the movie... The people from the concession gazed upon their fellow brave soldiers from across the river that splits the warzone between the war of Shanghai. Must've been pretty disturbing and heartbreaking to look at in person tbh 😞😞
I find it disgusting and dishonorable that he represents Chen Shusheng on the thumbnail with the flag of the Peoples Republic of China instead of the Republic of China, which he belonged to and which fought against Japan. The PRC did nothing to fend off the japanese.
Will you do one on Irish in WW2? We served in the British, Canadian, Australian and American armies. 50,000-70,000 in the British Army alone, all volunteers from a population of less than 3 million people, and on top of the fact that our own Government and country was neutral because they didn’t want to officially pick sides
What about guys who direct artillery, they can kill hundreds at a time when they do their jobs right.

It's kinda impossible to know the exact number of soliders they kill, there's a saying I heard once, bomber pilots never see the people they kill, infantryman rarely, snipers see them all the time.
What about the Finnish White Death 1939-1940. Said over 500 kills. Love and respect to you all from 🇨🇦.
Not to mention the added skill of shooting in arctic conditions. Cold wind and snow pretty hard on the eyes

Also Finnish soldier Viljam Pylkäs was effective. He killed about 80 russian soldiers alone with Suomi SMG. Only his mate was loading magazines during shooting.

Well I suppose its no surprise the man with the most kills would be a sniper but in Hulme the New Zealanders case, he just said let me at them, as you said he just got stuck in than even bother with the soldiers he was working with and of course made the best use of a captured trophy as the Germans were probably confused by a man firing back at them with a rifle sounded like their own and in their camoflague

I've always wondered what these "confirmed kills" are, because there is no such thing in the military as a confirmed kill. Stats aren't being kept, that's only after the fact using estimates.
Not true, in WW2 german snipers would kill an enemy,and make a note in their snipers diary/notebook and get the kill signed off by the local unit commander..say a Leutnant whose Grenadier unit the snipers was supporting.
A lot of the soviet high kill numbers were grossly inflated for propaganda purposes,so must always be taken with a gigantic mountain of salt.

There is no such thing as a confirmed kill in the military, this is a fact. Movies and UA-cam videos like these have brainwashed people.
A confirmed kill is a kill witness by multiple eyes, then a neutral body is sent out there to retrieve the body, then autopsy is done so the bullet wound can be matched to the soldiers rifle. Does this happen in war? Fuck no. Well, unless the causality is civilian, then yes. But those aren't the "confirmed kills" you want. =D
Confirmed kills are alot easier (and more common/accurate) when it comes to vehicle based combat (especially airplanes)
What about Italy?
Where is the Poland? Those brave soldiers fought for over a month with germans for every single meter of land without any allies behind. Poles kept fighting till the collapse of comunism in 1989/1990
they are talked about in the "bravest soldiers" video.

Clive Hulme the Kiwi did not steal from the Germans. He took their weapons legally. It is not theft to take the enemy's weapons if the enemy wants to kill you. That is true in peaceful civilian life as well as in war.
you should do another vid on brave solders that fought in world war2, one example is Moana-nui-a-Kiwa Ngarimu who a group of men up a hill taking out german guners while being wonded, when they got to the top and thir guns broke and ran out of ammo they starded throwing rocks at the germans.
