- this video is to help you get back into your Xbox BG3 game after you tried to turn on cross save.
step one after crash. log into your larian account via Google type in larian login.
step two after logging in go to connected accounts and disconnect your Xbox.
step three go back to Xbox and load up game.
step four reset settings to default.
step five log in and don't DONT turn on cross save! - Ігри
Thank you, massive help! I've been messing about with this all morning. Turned on cross save last night when i went to bed and it crashed; I assumed it was syncing but couldnt get back in this morning till I i watched your video. Hopefully they get a fix out soon.

I have the same crashing issue but I was never connected to my Larian account.
Thank you so much. I began a new game with my wife on Xbox and wished to continue my main campaign from PC. Although I'm disappointed I can't do that, at least this resolves the issue with the Xbox game. I was concerned about losing the new one we created together, and she wouldn't have been happy about that.

Found a way to fix it. You have to delete your manual saves and auto save in your slot so u only have 1 then in settings put auto save and manual save to 1 worked for me

Another fix I found. Open the game. Immediately go back home. Disconnect from online go back into the game. Should be able to go into settings and turn off cross save and there you go. Should be able to reconnect and play the game again

Gonna try this in the morning! (Its 3am 😂) I swapped my save files from PS5 to Series X and it’s been crashing pretty consistently. I was able to play a good 4 or 5 hours fine but soon as I close and try to reopen just keeps crashing.
thanks - just ran into this today by linking accounts. will try this later when I get home but hopeful it will fix it.

Yes I was able to play on Xbox again with no crashes after following your advice - thanks! - guess we have to wait for a fix from Larian to get it working properly
@@Ottermad1 todays updates on both Mac and Xbox solved the issue! I can now see my saves on both machines, but initially it appeared not to have worked. I had to load an existing character and then make a fresh save on each device. As soon as I did that everything synced!
Kind of defeats the purpose of being able to play on my computer and them picking up on my Xbox. 😢

So for me I've never played on PC or any other types instead of Xbox I tried to trick and it didn't work at first then I decided to delete my saved data on the game then it works so my guess is something got corrupted on one of my playthroughs and force the same crash but I had to make sure I do not sync any of the data or it will automatically crash again

doesn't work for me; the website is also bugged and says my xbox isn't connected when it is, so i can't disconnect it...
Damn! Sorry to hear that! Weird though! Do you have more than one larian account? Definitely should be connected with the email used to sign in.
Try connecting the Xbox account manually on the larian website and then disconnect it again.
I've got the same problem I can't disconnect my xbox from my larian account on their website because it dosent say it's connected but when I click to connect to try and get it to switch it tells me it's already connected it bs

Either way, another temporary fix for those with my problem is to go Offline on your Xbox. That way the game doesn't try to sync for cross save = no crashing.

Hey, I came across this once and I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seemed to have fixed my issue. I think it was just corrupted, hope this also fixes your issue

Yes sir it's all fixed now what ever your original save is on you need to load it up and make sure it's saved as cross save I had to reload on my pc and turn off and back on cross save and then save again on my pc then it saved as cross save I then could load it on my console however it won't unlock any achievements / trophies fo skipping areas ect

Damn! Definitely weird. Make sure you're using the same account for larian on both Xbox that's your signing into. If it doesn't let you disconnect your account on the larian website try to manually connect your Xbox account Tom your larian account and then disconnect it again. Sorry my fix didn't help.
