I would not use triplet. I use atrazine on those grass types but it is a restricted use product. Another option would be something like trimec Southern
I’m taking my applicators test in a few weeks here in Tennessee. Any from Tennessee tell me a little about the test what is the format ect. I have my books I’ve been studying and bought online course as well I’m a little nervous about the test since I haven’t taken a test since i graduated lol
Are there any products at the big box stores that can treat these weeds. I live in Indiana and have a blue grass lawn. I have Field Madder that’s thriving now. Any Suggestions?
Get an old jug. Put 44oz of water in it, followed by your desired PER ACRE of MSM. 1oz of finished solution per 1,000 sq ft, into your sprayer + water.
Jason are there actual grassy winter weeds? My Bermuda lawn after having gone dormant in late November has been absolutely colonized with a very thin, light green cool season looking type of grass. I have no idea what it is. I live in Dallas Texas and have noticed many peoples lawns have started getting this grass this winter and my lawn still currently has it even though it’s February and has gone through multiple single digit freezes. I know for a fact it isn’t Dallisgrass as it doesn’t have a fat leaf. Do you have any idea what it may be? It looks closest to fine fescue based on pictures online but I’d say it’s even thinner almost hair-like and light swampy green. I’m going crazy trying to figure out what it is and how to treat it. My lawn has been green all winter because of it. I can see the dormant Bermuda underneath
@@lawncarelife hi Jason, I blanket sprayed my dormant Bermuda lawn with roundup “exclusive formula” about 4 days ago not realizing it didn’t contain glyphosate. The poa did start to yellow a bit, albeit 3 days later but it never began browning and wilting within hours like the label claimed. There was also still some clumps of poa that were still fully green. So I blanket sprayed with actual glyphosate roundup 2 days ago and I’m still not seeing a significant change in the poa dying. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Daytime temps have been the low 60’s all week with night temps never dropping below 50.
Do u use specticle as ur main pre emergent? I'm in south carolina and it main thing we use but it so expensive! Just wandering what other one is a great option?
If I have new sod (4 months) I should wait to spray correct? The outline of the sod has weed popping up and I want to spray but I feel it too close. Should I just wait? It’s literally the outline of the sod
Are you doing this on your centipede lawns, just at lower rates? Or are you transitioning away from the root pruners with centipede? Most of my yards are centipede down here in south Alabama. It has been recommended to just go out with just atrazine for round 1. What are your thoughts?
In the past I have used a low rate of prodiamine mixed with atrazine. I think this year I'm going to be conservative and go with just atrazine on my centipede lawns. I will then try to clean up any weeds with changeup once the lawn turns green
That didn’t look like Poa Annua to me at 3:00Pretty sure that was a young Crowsfoot, or similar
You have a lot of praise for change up. I used it last year a lot and it does a great job. Is Triplet a substitute for change up?
Can you spray triplet on centipede and st. Augustine grass

@@lawncarelife I found some at a farm and feed store.
That Manor gives a whole new meaning to low rate.
We use Esplanade at 4 oz per acre, but a quarter to a third oz. per acre did i hear that right?
You heard correctly
Enjoyed the video.
We have different weeds but like professional concepts.
Thank you sir! Will this hurt Annual Rye?
Great video Jason, so what all are you putting in the tank? Prodiamine, triplet manor then spot spraying with change up and blindside?
Now I have been spraying prodiamine, triplet, atrazine, and specticle
Do you think Celsius would do anything to onion?
Not much
Dollar weed is going crazy in my St. Aug. central FL.
I'm thinking Atrazine or Celcius??

Unfortunately I am not much help on cool season lawns.
Would you treat a Zoysia lawn with these same products in the same way? I'm in North Florida.
Yes except I would not use glyphosate
@@lawncarelife Thank you for your videos and tips on lawn care.
Great explanation on the Manor,(MSM). It is very dangerous for a homeowner to use because we don't have a way to measure that little...Thanks!!

You can buy a product like blindside that has MSM in it. It's not a problem for people with larger yards. It so cheap you can just blanket spray it
What is the best way to keep a yard green year round I'm in St Louis

Probably poa annua

I use specticle or prodiamine depending on the situation

Also the rest of the yard was spray with spec flo which is doing its job. Seems I hit the mark perfect as far as not over spray the bed stuff ha

@@lawncarelife thanks so much. I have been contemplating doing that. Single or split app?
Can’t buy this stuff anywhere.
