I have one of these things, and had to do my fourth repair on it today. I cried a little bit as I watched you put the lid screws back in, because it just means that any time you want to *really* clean this thing, you're going to have to do this whole process again. We just taped the lid back on so we could clean it without opening the back. I've also had to replace the feed hose (crumbled to bits, leaking water all over the place) and the fan (stopped spinning) in 15 months of owning it. It still works, and fixing it was cheaper than replacing it, and I'm a handy guy, so why not? But I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop (i.e. for the feed pump or heat pump to die). Good luck!
Thanks for that great vid and followed it every step of the way except - I reassembled it without screwing the black cover in place. The black cover can easily be held in place with pvc tape or similar, and means you don't have to dismantle the machine for future cleans.
I have one of these and I stopped using it a while ago because the upper section got so nasty and I couldn't figure out how to take the top off to clean it. Thanks for showing how. I must say though the fact that this machine has to be practically disassembled in order to clean it is just terrible design and nonsensical.

The real LPTs are always in the comments.
Our neighbor just gave us his he bought a new one he said it didnt work it was so nasty, thanks to your video i can now get to that area.Thank you!
Excellent video. Thanks for posting. I had to clean it because of a mold. I only used distilled water in the machine, so no hard water issues.

Thank you! I have the exact same one and I just recently noticed how grimy it is up in the tray itself...
It's ridiculous how hard this thing is to clean. If you ask me it's a terrible design. The top should be easily removable.
Thinking about a steam cleaner to help me clean it
Thank you so much for this video.
I just did it great tutorial Thank you
This is the flaw in this machine. They should have made the cover easy removing. I will not bolt down cover though for easy access to clean weekly.
Yes I agree when this one takes a shit I will be more choosey about the next one I buy.
Have you had a problem with the fill water part when it’s water already in it
