How long did it take to fill up once started? I just got mine and it’s so slow to produce ice… you seemed to speed up the video for filming but it takes how long?
I have one I love it but just started making this loud humming/screech and freezing where the ice is made and the thing that knocks the ice down doesn’t move.
@@maureensnowden7841 You're correct it will melt if button not activated and is illuminated red. It continues to stay full if the button is activated and illuminated white.
@@Jackie_Guti I gifted mine to some family that really wanted it. I found this video that demonstrates it well. You basically run a cycle with vinegar instead of water and create vinegar ice, then scrub and wipe any leftover debris. ua-cam.com/video/nBh-fxpxGAU/v-deo.htmlsi=cPcG9nuXnR0B2Zji
Got one brand new not making ice at all very disappointed as I'm an ice eater did all the trouble shooting it will run the cleaning cycle but will not make ice
Most likely compressor burned out these units should sit for atleast 12-24 hours before being turned on especially if the box arrives the wrong way up.
That's not nugget ice bro that Crushed iced nugget ice is flaky and soft and crunchy look sonic ice this is good for summer if you want ice cheap and cold fast but not the smell texture as nugget ice
The process it uses is nugget ice. We have Hoshizaki nugget ice machines at work (same brand Sonic uses), and they have the exact thing turning on top where the ice comes out (an auger) that is constantly scraping and compacting the ice as it freezes and it comes out in that same shape. It's not making ice cubes and then crushing them. It's continuous and non-stop. That's why nugget ice is chewable, it's basically scraped and compacted.

Mine took around 15-20 min to make ice after I filled it with water.

How’d you fix it bc mine done that and now it says no water with water in it and won’t work
I’m having the same issue!! If you were able to fix it please let me know how
OK, so it's making a loud annoying noise and it doesn't work but you still love it? hmm
How long does it take to fill up with ice? just ordered one, but was curious.
Mine took 10-15 min for the first initial fill. If left plugged in, there will constantly be ice ready as long as enough water is stocked.
Thank you!!
What's more important is how long those little itty bitty pieces of ice are going to last in your warm drink before they melt and water it down?
Mine only pulls water from the top
Thank you this was extremely helpful and thank you above all things for getting to the point
You're very welcome!
How do you turn off the machine? Or does it stay on the whole time?
To turn off, you can tap the front button until the ring around the button turns red, or unplug device to turn it off.
If you leave it on and plugged in will it stay full of ice
Yep!
No it does not it melts

mine runs but doesn't put ice out
I'm having this issue now and it's brand new
Hey thanks for this video! I feel confident setting it up now thanks to you!
Great to hear!
When do you use the auxilliary water in the top?
I'm not aware of that. I've just used the main fill compartment.
Mines not pushing or making any ice
Did you ever figure out what happened? I just got mine and it ran the water through during the cleaning process, but it’s not making ice 😢
How do you turn it off?

Please do a video of how to clean using the vinegar mixture

@@GooseReviews thank you!
Whats the off button?
After a cycle is completed, it will maintain automatically. I would unplug device to turn it off.
No one shows how many cups of ice it fills...smh
