Thanks for taking the time to create and share this video Terry. Got the same machine on a Prime Day deal and about to attempt installation. This video helps a ton. Great idea, I didn't even think about using a condensate pump for the drainage. Greatly appreciated! 😺👏🏼
I’ve had this same unit for a year and I have black mold all over the back. I haven’t cleaned it religiously like it recommends but even when I cleaned it I could never get the area to the right of the running water and the white water chamber below the running water to stay clean and mold free. Any recommendations?
You can make a solution of bleach to kill the black mold. Then just rinse well. Don’t spray bleach on metal or it will corrode. I took my basin apart to clean the iron and hardness out of it. That’s the best way I have found
Just got my euhomy last week. One thing that bothered me is that it didn’t come with one of those cool blue lights on the inside. I bought a set of two rechargeable leds off Amazon that are magnetic for $25. They came with magnetic sticky pads so I was able to place the light on the backside of the door and it’s motioned sensing so it automatically turns on when you open the door
I would like to know what kind of filter you have and how long does it last. Do you think it’s a good idea to connected to the laundry cold water faucet?
I think you will be fine connecting to laundry cold water faucet. I highly recommend an inline water filter to protect your ice maker. Here is link: amzn.to/4dpfDKp. Good luck with install!
I have installed mine in the kitchen and the drain line is going into the drain line for our sink. The drain point is about 6 inches higher than the drain exit on the ice machine. Is this an issue? Does the machine have some ability to pump the drain water?
Have you had any issues with the ice maker draining because in your video, it looks like the drain hose from the ice maker goes up and then into the condensate pump?
I have not but essentially I remove top cover by removing screws in back and wipe down with a bleach solution to kill any mildew or black mold I may find.
The unit does not have a pump. The water pressure should fill the water tank as long as the solenoid opens the valve. Check your water line for pressure and turn off/on. You should hear the solenoid click to allow water in. Good luck!
We put the drain pupe into a home depot bucket and it appears to be draining 5 gallons of water every hour or so, is that nornal? If so, that is a huge waste of water
No that is not normal. Water must be leaking into ice bin from reservoir or spraying over the evaporator (where ice grows). You may need to rotate fluted tube to direct water better.
Try cleaning the evaporator where the ice is made. Once too much mineral is built up it provides additional grip on the evaporator not letting the ice fall off the plate. Regular cleaning on ice machines is a requirement or you will get extended harvest times and errors from them not dropping the ice sheet in the allotted amount of time and causing the machine to throw error codes. Another potential issue is the nickel plating can flake off the evaporator over time and this is non repairable causing complete failure if the machine. Using proper descaler is imperative when servicing ice machines.
Mine quit making ice also, used about 2 years, never cleaned the mechanical parts, I took a air hose blew out evaporator and everything underneath, now makes so much ice, actually seams to make ice better than new
We just purchased this unit for one of our customers. They went on vacation for a week and came back to water being all over the floor. Can you give any insight as to why this would happen?
I would need to see where it leaked. Possible leak points are: a) water line from plumbing, connection to water filter, push-connect to rear of unit. Lastly, the euhomy has a drain line in the rear for ice melt. this needs to run to a drain. Alternatively, I have mine draining into a condensate pump which moves water to nearby sink drain line. (see in video). I have never had this issue before. Let us know what you find.
No, I installed this back in January 2023. Have had the E2 errors off and on but tonight screen just flickers. Trying the shutoff for 30 minutes and see what happens.
Updated parts in the Description.

No problem, my family (and the occasional neighbor having a party) really enjoys all the ice!

The condensate pump has been working without any issues for ~4 years now. All the info should be in description. Good luck!👍

Do you remove the front door to gain better access to the back to clean? If so, how do you do it?
@@carlosarneyIf you unscrew the top you can get full access. It’s easy.

That is awesome! Will you post a picture? 👍
Does water come out right away I know water if supplied but I don’t see water falling or motor running
One you power on with water line hooked up reservoir should fill.

🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Pierre! Happy New Year!
What size drain tube did you buy?
I would recommend this universal drain line: amzn.to/3yl8pIA
Thank you! You helped alot!
Glad it helped!

Please look in the ‘Description’. You need the condensate pump and you will be all set.

@@terryclayton Thanks for the help!

Hi Tracey. The condenser sits slightly lower but even if you have a slight rise, there won’t be issue with water draining. T
Your videos are great thank you for sharing! Have you made a video of how you clean your ice machine?
I have not but essentially I remove top cover by removing screws in back and wipe down with a bleach solution to kill any mildew or black mold I may find.
Love the videos! I picked one up, plugged in and hooked up to a water line and it's not pumping water. Wonder what the deal is

How much is the total cost if you import it to the Phil.
I don't know the answer to that one. :)

Dead sir i have tge same machine but lose the manual Can u help me with setup the timmer and donthe self cleaning ?
Many thanks
Press and hold timer button. Should take 20 minutes to finish cleaning. I prefer to wipe unit with vinegar and then dump the water after this .
I Think the drain is supposed to have a air gap to keep the ice maker in case of a back up
Good idea. My drain flows into a condensate pump with a vent so no risk of backup.

Great input @shanefarley3575. I typically use vinegar (5% acetic acid) but have also used a citric acid solution I make for my Keurig to clean it.
Mine quit making ice also, used about 2 years, never cleaned the mechanical parts, I took a air hose blew out evaporator and everything underneath, now makes so much ice, actually seams to make ice better than new
It says it can be used outdoors, we live in Indiana, what would you suggest would need to be done to use it outdoors?
It should be good. I would recommend it not be in direct sunlight though.
Can you share a link for the pump you used please
Here you go: www.amazon.com/dp/B000SM342Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thanks you!@@terryclayton

Which drain pump do you use with your machine? Brand/model?
Little Giant 554425 VCMA-20ULS... www.amazon.com/dp/B000SM342Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
We’ve had two years. It keeps shutting off. What do I do
I would unplug it for 30 minutes to hard reset.
I think mine just bit the dust. The screen just flickers and doesn’t do anything.
While installing? Be sure to contact Euhomy for warranty. Good luck!

My ice m achine got E 11 on it want help
It's new machine it's a 360 vevor
Sorry but I am not familiar with that unit. I would contact vendor while its under warranty.
Looking for a cleaning video on this machine?
I let it drain and wipe down with bleach instead of vinegar.
I have a euhomy I’m-20 but it’s not dropping any ice at all
How old is the unit?
