Julia shows the most promise out of all of the apprentices at Herc's so far. A natural gift! It's a testament to her skill that Steve doesn't feel the need to lurk and watch over her shoulder.
I finally got to visit the store on a work trip this month. Loved every minute of it and can’t wait to get back there again! Every one was wonderful and just as genuine as they are in the videos. Definitely the highlight to my trip to NY.
Alright I've watched about 25 videos now so I'm gonna subscribe! I love this family oriented business. These are the mom and pop shops leaving knowledge and skills to there children and community members that will go on for ages. Love love love this content now im hooked lol
Sure is cool that customers can watch the candies they're ordering being made. It makes you appreciate how much thought and care goes into the process. Thank you for another fun video!
I am in awe of Julia's precision when she pours the creams, especially with the added texture of coconut. I always wonder about how heavy that full funnel is? She makes it look so easy, but I know it's not!
It’s been a while but I think my hyperfocus has made its way back around to this channel and it’s nice. Just the chill atmosphere even in the most chaotic moments is a nice balm for my icky mood 💜💜
do you have coffee flavored cremes? You could do coffee lover's mix with popular drink flavors.... Caramel machiatto.. Mocha latte... Pumpkin spice latte... Plain black espresso for me 😜
I am surprised at how much I loved watching Julia make these candies! She does an excellent job! Very nice, very precise, she is quite comfortable in her process- I love it! This is the first time I've seen the chocolate coating put on the candies! I was totally entranced :).
I have watched you videos for a very long time and love the interaction with patrons. My parents paid a visit on my recommendation because you make amaretto creams and my dad loves anything amaretto. I was sad to hear these are not made year round and only seasonal, (I thought they were part of the box mix and available year round)so unfortunately he left without them. They said the people they spoke with were polite.
Julia is so cute, love her personality. Also, those drops look like little cone heads from SNL. I say mix the two together s’mores with toasted coconut.
The cornstarch molding process for the cremes reminds me of sand casting machine parts. There was a forge near me that still manufactured up until it closed around 2018 when Google bought the building for the land.
I think it’s funny how even though it’s been years, there’s still at least one commenter asking where Max is under every video. I guess that just proves how much we all love him. Though I’m sure the current team gets tired of being compared to him. I hope Julia and the gang know that they are just as appreciated as Max was!
I used to watch the basement videos and when Max and Joe were here. It's been hard for me to watch since they left... I guess i don't do well with change😢
Me and the hubs just tried both flavors today! We both preferred the toasted coconut over the smores. Both are addictive and delicious! Pick us! Pick us! 😂
Hercules, Hercmeles, Hercusles. May I make a request? Prank someone. Make a gross candy. Present it as a new idea and have the victim(s) take a bite. Like a garlic creme, parmesan creme, anchovie.. I don't know. Something nasty as candy but perfectly normal as food. OR just popped in my head just now actually. Do this idea as a Hercules Candy game. Like the BeanBoozled challenge. Could even do a Spicy version. Like orange, red and yellow pillow candies. Orange is either orange or orange habanero, yellow can be lemon or lemon ghost Pepper, red can be cherry or Carolina reaper or scorpion pepper and cherry. Hercules Nice or Spice Challenge, Hercules/Hurtcules Challenge. That would be amazing.
You can definitely make the creams at home with a stand mixer. I have done it several times. I'm experimenting with flavors because those are my Christmas gifts this year.
Toasted coconut feels like a great autumn seasonal flavor. It might be interesting to try to make a pina colada flavor or mai tai flavor candy for beach summer memories.
I would love the marshmallow and coconut, toasted or flaked. However, unless they would be shipped with dry ice, they would be a soupy, sticky mess before they get to my house in FL.
Trying to study but I'm glued to the t.v. thanks to you😅 i could watch the cream pour into the molds all day❤. (My dog said she'll vaulenteer to be the Hercules dog. )
I almost workd for a candy maker. I can cook, bake and make candy. Don't like s'mores. I like Peeps, who doesn't like sugar on sugar? Coconut covered marshmallows, yes.
Just caught myself holding my breath when she was sifting the cornstarch trays lmao. Sign it's time for bed for me! I'm with the bare cremes people lol, I just wanna bite into them every time they're on screen.
6:38 For home use, you could use one of those thingies to fill with pancake batter - would work, I think. Or just use a smaller funnel you already have, and use the handle of a wooden spoon - I have a small wooden spoon meant for sauce which has a thin long round handle… Would have worked in one of my funnels fine, I think. Yup, that worked perfectly!!! Wouldn’t make as big batches, but I actually have 4 options here. One a stainless pancake batter thing, two an even bigger plastic pancake batter thing (both with handle grip that opens/closes a hole under them), three the funnel with a wooden spoon handle as an open/closer and four, using a pastry bag with a tip too!!! So there are cool options… I would probably use silicone molds though, as the Maizena/corn starch option is a bit too complicated (the presser thing, that is, making that would be complicated)… 🤗☺️❤❤❤
Hands down the coconut was the better choice. The s’mores one did not taste like s’mores and oddly tasted like mint. My daughter agreed and we tried a 2nd s’mores one just to make sure…and still minty. But still love all your candy
My husband’s favorite candy anything is s’mores and my favorite candy is Julia’s Tart cranberry hard candy but my second favorite is anything with toasted coconut. So even though we haven’t officially tried them yet, I think it’s going to be a draw in this house. ❤
Hi Nicole! Now that I am 65, I feel like I have been " dumped" by most programs because I am not eligible for Medicaid! Medicare seems to alienate those of us who are struggling to get help even being blind and physically disabled from arthritis! Nobody in local offices can or will answer questions online and if you are lucky enough to get a call answered, responses are full of unknown terminology and the desire to get you off their call line is more than.obvious! I am frustrated, depressed and infuriated with the entire system and the indifference it blatantly shows those of us who need help!
I think giving Steve a day off is a Bit much..... maybe just half day off. Like go home after lunch, Steve. Hope you hit a million subscribers soon and the holidays Treat you well!
Greetings from Colorado. It was hard to decide which flavor was the best. I liked the Toasted Coconut. My daughter and husband liked the smores better.
That was super!!! I wanted to get up and toast coconut it looked so good. Could you do a banana split in a cream or a strawberry shortcake? Ummm! You guys are great people, hope to meet you one day
If only you guys had more than one funnel, so the next time you do creams we have a competition with steve and somebody new at the shop. that would be fun. Nice job julia !
I really enjoy your vids, even though I live in Ohio, and am financially strapped, I would love to come and visit for a day, just to watch and learn first hand.
A food saver will seal plastic bags too… And suck the air out if you want that too… You don’t have a food saver, Craig??? 😉☺️🤗❤❤❤ PS! The piece that seals the bags is a super thin copper wire, so it won’t retain heat for long at all… 🤗💚💚💚
Why can’t we find the Christmas hard candy of the 1950’s and earlier? You can find the old tins and boxes they used to sell it in but not the great flavors of yesterday. The flavors were anise, spearmint, lime, peppermint, cloves, cherry, lemon, cinnamon, grape, peach and probably more that I can’t remember.
Julia shows the most promise out of all of the apprentices at Herc's so far. A natural gift! It's a testament to her skill that Steve doesn't feel the need to lurk and watch over her shoulder.
THANK U SO MUCH! I’m glad I can help Steve out so much ❤
I’d say Max and Cooper were equally fantastic
@@juliafromhercules You are so good at everything... but watching you scrape the kettle is extra fancy. It's perfectly done, which is so satisfying!
The quiet of the starch room is lovely. Lots of love to you all.
Thank you Lindsay!
A relief 'cause the sound starch makes is hellish to me lol!
@@PACMANnot Oh, that is yucky when it's not a pleasant sound. 😒😜
Hopefully you are able to make it through☺🙂💜🫂
We really need to clone Julia. She takes exceptional care in all she does. Her work produces a superior product.
I wonder if anyone knows what videos/dates were Julia's introduction/early days to see like a then/now
Julia macht das richtige ,zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort und das heisst ,sie ist richtig ,
Arent you sweet! 🩷 thank you
Hmm the Julia method
She's the other Julia.
I finally got to visit the store on a work trip this month. Loved every minute of it and can’t wait to get back there again! Every one was wonderful and just as genuine as they are in the videos. Definitely the highlight to my trip to NY.
It's a definite MUST when visiting Syracuse.
Yep. I stopped by when I was visiting a friend in the area and everyone was so nice!
Thank you so much for making us a part of your trip!
I love the addition of links , during the video, to purchase items being made or talked about
Me too! It's a really helpful addition on UA-cam's part!
Alright I've watched about 25 videos now so I'm gonna subscribe! I love this family oriented business. These are the mom and pop shops leaving knowledge and skills to there children and community members that will go on for ages. Love love love this content now im hooked lol

Thank you so much!
Ich finde dein Statement über die Kunden und den Respekt vor dieser schönen Arbeit, eine der schönsten Tätigkeiten der Welt Klasse,
Julia’s calm and even demeanor even reminds me of Steve (and Max!). There’s something soothing about watching your videos, this one in particular.
Calm is my middle name 😉
Well wherever you learned it you did well.
Oooohhh please bring back the process of scooping out the cream! I love watching it mix in the machine and the process of getting it out!
I am in awe of Julia's precision when she pours the creams, especially with the added texture of coconut. I always wonder about how heavy that full funnel is? She makes it look so easy, but I know it's not!
I use a similar one to make gummies and when it is full it is about 4 lbs.
Frauen ,die arbeiten ,bringen die welt weiter ,k
@@alexandradeuen1610 absolutely! SO TRUE! WE WOMEN CAN DO ANYTHING :).

I think you should add chopped almonds to a toasted coconut marshmallow cream. that would be yummy.
They should make their own marshmallows not pre made stuff.
do you have coffee flavored cremes? You could do coffee lover's mix with popular drink flavors.... Caramel machiatto.. Mocha latte... Pumpkin spice latte... Plain black espresso for me 😜
We do make a coffee cream!
Always coming up with something new. Very cool.
give Steve a day off when ever he wants it
This is the way
I am surprised at how much I loved watching Julia make these candies! She does an excellent job! Very nice, very precise, she is quite comfortable in her process- I love it! This is the first time I've seen the chocolate coating put on the candies! I was totally entranced :).
I love these much more than the shorts so relaxing it puts me to sleep
Turned out great Julia!!
Dark chocolate bar, with bacon bits, sea salt, and a brushed butter finger.
I'm sticking around. Even without a candy prize. 🥰
My shoulders and back are hurting just watching this.
I love that you said "I wonder if anyone's fallen asleep yet" because I actually do use these videos to fall asleep because they're so relaxing lol
I have watched you videos for a very long time and love the interaction with patrons. My parents paid a visit on my recommendation because you make amaretto creams and my dad loves anything amaretto. Something with white chocolate and peanut butter sounds delish!
Y'all. You are my haven of wholesomeness 😂 Love you guys!
Looks so satisfying and so yummy 😋 thanks for always making videos love it
Julia rocks! Just saying… waving from Cape May, New Jersey- Julia I downloaded tik tok so I can follow you!Your voice is soothing!
Julia is so cute, love her personality. Also, those drops look like little cone heads from SNL. I say mix the two together s’mores with toasted coconut.
also julis beautiful af and a total mood.
(1:49) you need to try fruity Pebbles, with the marshmallow, & alittle chocolate swirl as a topping, would make a nice crunch bar.
The cornstarch molding process for the cremes reminds me of sand casting machine parts. There was a forge near me that still manufactured up until it closed around 2018 when Google bought the building for the land.
12:17 I make a s’mores bar with Golden Grahams. They’re so good
Hah... I was blinking my eyes... lids getting droopy... so relaxing to watch. I just barely caught the tag about if anyone had fallen asleep!!

I miss Max. Wonder how he is doing?
Cream idea
Cereal milk creams
Frootloops and white chocolate creams
Cinnamon toast crunch white chocolate creams
Me and the hubs just tried both flavors today! We both preferred the toasted coconut over the smores. Both are addictive and delicious! Pick us! Pick us! 😂

"Marshmallow cream with toasted coconut"... I'm sold.

They both look SO good🥰🥰
First time making that's an achievement for the company x ❤
Okay, we finally held our taste test after dinner: 3 votes for s’mores as favorite and 2 votes for coconut. They are both delicious!
Oh wow, that's a close one! I'm glad y'all liked both so much!
I love Terrys sweatshirt. Those creams look divine.
Definitely sounds yummy! Toasted coconut anything will be good !
just ordered s'mores creams and some brittle- can't wait!
Ohhh what kind of brittle?
You can definitely make the creams at home with a stand mixer. I have done it several times. I'm experimenting with flavors because those are my Christmas gifts this year.
Home made marshmallows of all flavors would be so fun to watch❤
Toasted coconut feels like a great autumn seasonal flavor. It might be interesting to try to make a pina colada flavor or mai tai flavor candy for beach summer memories.
Mohito!
This is the first time I've seen one of your video's, and your candy looks yummy!
I love all things marshmallow and all things coconut!
I want biscotti flavored creams next time.
YO IVE GOT THE SAME CHAIR SHES IN AT THE START
I would love the marshmallow and coconut, toasted or flaked. However, unless they would be shipped with dry ice, they would be a soupy, sticky mess before they get to my house in FL.
I bet that smells amazing
I think the s'mores cream is a bit better than the coconut one, but they are both delicious 😋
Thank you for your order and your vote, and I'm glad you enjoyed them both!
Just made my first order after discovering your channel a few weeks ago. Looking forward to my first taste.
Im a s'mores and coconut 🥥 fanatic ❤❤❤❤❤ Love this
You could probably get a silicone sleeve to fit over the ladle's handle. :)
I need to try all of your creams!
I love the Redskins cup in the background!!!
You should make your own marshmallow- it’s SO much better than the jet-puffed ones!
Trying to study but I'm glued to the t.v. thanks to you😅 i could watch the cream pour into the molds all day❤. (My dog said she'll vaulenteer to be the Hercules dog. )

I am only 2 mins into the video and my mouth is watering. Toasted coconut marshmallow. OMG!!🤤
Thanks for the video.❤
Just wondering how often the cornstarch needs to be changed for new?

I have tried both.... Coconut Marshmallow Creams are soooo Gooooood!!! I am happy I accidentally ordered 2 bags. LOL.
What a happy accident!
How often does the corn starch get refreshed or how long is it good for before you have to switch it out
I'd give (just about) ANYTHING to work here. Wouldn't "work" another day in my life❤
Hands down the coconut was the better choice. The s’mores one did not taste like s’mores and oddly tasted like mint. My daughter agreed and we tried a 2nd s’mores one just to make sure…and still minty. But still love all your candy
Interesting, we didn't get that with our taste tests. Thank you for letting us know!
Have you thought of adding homemade marshmallows to the repertoire?
Thanks. Now im going to make toasted marshmallow rice crispy treats
we used to use a toasted marshmellow flavor for whip cream during breakfast service. always gave a wonderful taste
Wow that must smell so good x
Full size marshmallows are better for cooking because you get more goo and less outside crust than with minis.
Hey malt o'meal's stores cereal uses golden grahams. Try. It.
@ 8:30 best candy ASMR ever!!!!!!!!!

Coconut 🥥 😋. My grandmother & great grandmother used to make homemade candy 🍬 🍫 🍭. It was soooi good!!
If only you guys had more than one funnel, so the next time you do creams we have a competition with steve and somebody new at the shop. that would be fun. Nice job julia !
How many trays of creams do you get out of one batch?
I really enjoy your vids, even though I live in Ohio, and am financially strapped, I would love to come and visit for a day, just to watch and learn first hand.
Omg terry ❤❤❤❤❤ i havent seen a Hercules video in forever sense max left so did i but im back maybe max willl be one day also
You'll have to make a "beer" flavored hard candy for Steve, lol....maybe with lime like Corona🤷🏻♀️
Do you have a grinder? I was thinking that slightly larger chunks might be better for the SMORES, with a little bit of texture. They do look good. 👀
Whoop!! Another vidya!!
Does that weigh heavy on the arms ?
I imagine you build muscles over time to help.
