JL Audio 300/4 Blown Rear channel output. Repair.

This one has a blown rear channel, and was completely hacked on from a previous person/technician and I had to fix up some issues related to that. Then I finally got down to the real problem and fixed it.

Oh man, been down that road with repairs and actual install jobs. A shotty technician is the worst enemy of a good technician.

Thanks for this. I have the same issue with my 300/4 V1. I'm pretty sure my gate driver is toast. I get 3 boards to light but not the 4th. I'll be looking over the things mentioned here in this video. Any chance you still work on amps in case I'm unlucky.

I am going to be replacing the IRF540N MOSFETs due to the low ohm light staying on without speakers connected and some distortion in the right rear speaker. Are IRF540N's?PBF's the same as IRF540N's?
