I’m always blown away by how simple you make it to learn..Thank You Lauren Bateman for all the time you put into these videos! You are such an awesome lady and I sure appreciate you!!
As an aged learner, I can't tell you how much your tutorials have helped with my progress. The sing alongs help to keep the timing and rhythm under control. Thank's so much.
Lauren. Your simply the best. As always. Like dude, I started playing acoustic guitar 8 months ago and i can play about 7 or 8 songs. I have great rythem and know almost all chords. And just learned this song in the time it took to watch the video. Im blown away. Thanks so much Lauren. I really appreciate it more than you will ever know. God bless you
Great warm voice Lauren! I can play the easy version of these chords but the strumming, mamma mia! Need more practice to loose my wrist...I know... relax and breath...thanks for this lesson!
Always a pleasure with such an easy teaching method of how you teach strumming and rhythm. Though I’m not interested now in playing songs, but your chord progressions and strumming I am. Currently focusing on the keys of the pentatonic playing up and down the neck once I broke out of the boxes. P.S. supporting you channel anyway I can.
Much better video than the first one you did for Wagon Wheel. I appreciate that you took the time to do it again. I like the Dillion version but am trying to get the swing of the Old Crow version. Thanks again.
WoW what a great lesson - the contrast between the Dylan and the Crow versions was pretty stark both sounded really catchy - glad you pointed this out and explained it so well 😊🤗🤗🤗💕
Bob Dylan wrote the Chorus in 1973 and Ketch Secor wrote the verses 25 years later. Secor contacted Dylan and they agreed to share writing credit, with the final version being first released by Secor and The Old Crow medicine show. I don't know if Dylan ever recorded the final version.
Hi Lauren. Could you comment with a tip or advice on chord changes. It seems you’re changing chords on the last up strum. Is that what I’m seeing/hearing and is that common for all songs?
Afternoon,a few days ago a just happened to wonder how to play a triplet on the guitar.when I play triplets on the piano I actually say trip a let while in beat. I like to use slash chords which for the key of g major has g slash d d slash g d slash f.are they the same as the the alternating base notes in your lessons.thanks have a blessed day
You are a great instructor!! Thanks for posting the lessons. If you have a chance to do wide open spaces by the Dixie chicks it would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Michelle for the recommendation. I get lots of song requests so I cannot guarantee that I will get to it, but I will definitely add it to my list.
her strumming pattern is actually wrong for the old crow version they hit a base note and strum down once theres no second down stroke there its more syncopated
I actually don't have a Spiderman shirt. I have Superman, Batman and Captain America. I really need a Wonder Woman t-shirt but they are always sold out of my size when I go to the store.

The later pattern is trickier
Chido.Loving it.
Thanks!
Does it sound like country roads by John Denver? 🤔
Thanks for watching!
I’m a Dylan nut but never actually ever heard him do it. I know it was during the Soundtrack for Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
Yeah there are a few recordings floating around on UA-cam.
Where are you from Lauren?I like your accent, sounds very comfortable.
Boston 😊
Cool🤟
Awesome!
Wow great lesson, thanks, but I wish those base notes weren't thrown in there, eek!

her strumming pattern is actually wrong for the old crow version they hit a base note and strum down once theres no second down stroke there its more syncopated
Yes, they actually use a hopped rhythm. I believe Darius Rucker plays it the same way.
Disappointed in the Superman shirt over Spiderman.. Otherwise great video Thanks. Love this song
I actually don't have a Spiderman shirt. I have Superman, Batman and Captain America. I really need a Wonder Woman t-shirt but they are always sold out of my size when I go to the store.
@@LaurenBateman Damn :( I would check my locals for you but it would probably cost more than the shirt to ship from Australia
Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.
